Australia's Governor-General inappropriately supports immoral homosexual marriage
Quentin Bryce notably ended her Boyer Lectures by expressing her long-term aspiration that Australia might become a nation where ''people are free to love and marry whom they choose.
She expressed a personal opinion, that was untimely and inappropriate in that she knew very well that homosexual marriage legislation was being forced through ACT Parliament and the High Court by only 9 people namely Greens and Labor. Her son in law is the Labor national leader of the opposition.
She should resign immediately for stepping outside of her defined roles and seeking to bring influence to a debate that is very destructive to the backbone of our nation.
Her aspirations were reported as putting her at odds with her Prime Minister in supporting both same-sex marriage and a republic, though Tony Abbott agreed that it was appropriate that Bryce should express her personal views in a graceful style as she came near to the end of her term of office. She was, of course, appointed by Kevin Rudd in 2008 and had her term extended by Julia Gillard until 2014. After her son-in-law Bill Shorten's election as Opposition Leader, Bryce had offered her resignation, which Abbott declined.
Her aspirations are at odds with most Australians regardless of polls, and all Christian churches except liberal church who believe in nothing.
The general response to the appropriateness of her brief remarks has been divided. The minority seemingly support her right to express her view. The majority have called for her resignation or sacking, and she has been condemned for either self-centredness or cowardice.
Bryce had broken the rule that the holder of the office of Governor-General should be above politics. Bryce will probably say no more, at least while she remains Governor-General. But she has caused a distraction.
Homosexual marriage should go to referendum rather than having nine politicians or a group of radical far left politicans trying tp shove immorality down the throats of all Australians.
Senior Liberals such as Malcolm Turnbull support homosexual marriage simply because he seat is surrounded by vocal homosexual advocates. NSW Premier, Barry O'Farrell foolishly supported the notion when New Zealnd made a decision to give the finger to God regarding Holy marriage but later withdrew his support when the legislation failed.
Homosexual marriage is a boiling issue in Australia. It is is immoral, against evolution, commonsense, against all health with HIV rising again among certain sectors, against logic.
Bryce voiced her aspiration that one day Australia might be a place where people are free to love and marry whom they choose in this context. Am I free to love my sister, my mother, my brother in a sexual relationship? Am I free to love a child under 18? How very foolish
According to scripture she came out in support of sin, but then again Australians tend to pick and choose which sin they support get angry about pedafilia, those they enjoy adultery.
