Gays can do whatever at home why not incest?

Image
On April 5, 2007,  Time Magazine   asked  the question, “Should Incest Be Legal?” Three years later, when Columbia University professor David Epstein was arrested for a three-year, consensual affair with his adult daughter, his attorney  noted , “It’s OK for homosexuals to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different? We have to figure out why some behavior is tolerated and some is not.” Not surprisingly, some Columbia students asked why any sexual acts committed by consenting adults should be considered a crime. Today, that question is being asked again, this time in the context of a lawsuit  reported  by the  New York Post  on April 10. Specifically, “A New Yorker who wants to marry their own adult offspring is suing to overturn laws barring the incestuous practice, calling it a matter of ‘individual autonomy.’” They argue that, “‘Through the enduring bond of marriage, two persons, whatever relationship they might otherwise ...

Gay first now: Incest should should be legal, says German government’s Ethics Council

Image
Incest laws could be scrapped in Germany after the government's ethics council said sex between brothers and sisters should be legal and is a 'fundamental right'. The council recommended that the right of 'adult siblings to sexual self-determination' was more important then the 'abstract idea of protection of the family'. It comes after the case of Patrick Stuebing, who was jailed for more than three years after having four children - two of which are disabled - with his sister Susan Karolewski. The German Ethics Council has suggested that sex between brothers and sisters should be legalised Stuebing was put up for adoption as a toddler and only met his sister when he was 24 and she was 16. He was imprisoned for incest in 2008. He made an unsuccessful appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in 2012 over his right to a family life - as he and Ms Karolewski were split up and three of their children were taken into care. The youngest was allowed to r...

Incest is ‘no longer taboo’ thanks to contraception/homosexuality, says Australian judge

Image
An Australian judge has been suspended from hearing criminal cases and is under investigation after complaints about his reported comments earlier this year that “incest is no longer taboo,” because of increased availability of abortion and contraception. The Sydney District Court judge aroused the backlash when he compared incest to homosexuality, saying that sexual contact between siblings and between adults and children are no longer seen as “unnatural” or “taboo.” Judge Garry Neilson said during a trial in April that just as homosexuality has been accepted since the 1950s, “a jury might find nothing untoward in the advance of a brother towards his sister once she had sexually matured, had sexual relationships with other men and was now ‘available’, not having [a] sexual partner.” The trial was of a man accused of having raped his sister in the 1970s and again in 1981. At the trial, Neilson said that the 1981 offence was different from the earlier assault because by that...

Government leader says incest should be legal with consenting adults: the homosexual agenda get extended

Image
New Act leader Jamie Whyte has back-tracked on comments that incestuous relationships between consenting adults should not be illegal. Speaking on RadioLive this morning, Mr Whyte admitted he had regretted the comments published in an article on The Ruminator Website. "I regret the comments, mainly because I feel I let the party down,'' he said. The u-turn comes less than a day after he told the Herald he stood by his comments. In an article published on The Ruminator website, former philosophy lecturer Dr Whyte was asked whether the state should intervene if adult siblings wanted to marry each other. "Well personally, I don't think they [the State] should," he replied, adding it was "a matter of almost no significance because it just doesn't happen". Dr Whyte initially told the Herald his response was based on his belief that: "I don't think the state should intervene in consensual adult sex or marriage (homosexual marriage), but th...

Homosexual ‘marriage’ could lead to father-son unions to avoid estate taxes

Image
LONDON, U.K. , April 10, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – Academy Award-winning actor Jeremy Irons told HuffPost Live  last week that he worries a redefinition of marriage to include same-sex couples could lead to abuses of the institution, including marriages between fathers and their sons. “It seems to me that now [gay activsts are] fighting for the name,” Irons told HuffPo Live host Josh Zepps . “I worry that it means somehow we debase, or we change, what marriage is. I just worry about that.” Jeremy Irons Zepps asked Irons about his views on gay ‘marriage’ during an interview about the Showtime series “The Borgias,” in which Irons plays the role of a pope.  While Irons said he had no strong feelings either way on the issue, he did worry that unscrupulous people could use a redefinition of marriage to their advantage at society’s expense.  “Tax wise, it’s an interesting one, because, you see, could a father not marry his son?” Irons asked Zepps. When Zepps co...

‘The Notebook’ director says if we back gay marriage, why not incest?

Image
HOLLYWOOD, –  Defenders of marriage have long said if the institution is redefined beyond one man and one woman, there is no clear end to the new combinations that could be considered “marriage.” A growing body of evidence shows the popular culture, led by Hollywood elites, do not intend to stop with same-sex unions. Nick Cassavetes compared same-sex "marriage" with incest in a positive light. Nick Cassavetes, the director of the romantic film  The Notebook , told reporters at the debut of his new film that incest is no different than allowing same-sex weddings. “Love who you want, isn’t that what we say? Gay marriage – love who you want,” he said. “If you’re not having kids, who gives a damn?” the son of legendary director John Cassavetes and actress Gena Rowlands asked in  an interview  with  The Wrap  while premiering his new film,  Yellow , which features an incestuous affair between a brother and sister. “If it’s your brother or siste...

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Authors: Paul Cameron and Kirk Cameron Summary: A random sample of 5,182 adults from 6 U.S. metropolitan areas were questioned about incestuous sexual relationships during childhood. Incest was disproportionately reported by both male and female bisexuals and homosexuals. 148 gays (7.7% of the sample) reported 14 (50%) of same-sex, and 7 (22%) of opposite-sex incestuous experiences, and 20 (69%) of same-sex and 2 (3%) of opposite-sex sexual experiences with other relatives. 88 lesbians (3% of the sample) reported 2 (33%) of same-sex incest and 7 (9%) of opposite-sex incest and 1 (17%) of same-sex and 10 (13%) of opposite-sex sexual experiences with other relatives. 12% of 98 male homosexuals vs 0.8% of 1,224 male heterosexuals with a brother reported brother-brother incest. These findings are consonant with those of other studies in which disproportionately more incest by ...

Arguments supporting Gays used to support incest

Image
Image via Wikipedia There are certain questions now pressed upon us that previous generations would never believe could be asked. One of these is thrust upon us by events in New York City , where a well-known Ivy League professor has been arrested for the crime of incest . What makes the question urgent is not so much the arrest, but the controversy surrounding it. David Epstein is a professor of political science at Columbia University , where his wife also teaches. He previously taught on the faculties of Harvard and Stanford. Last week, he was arraigned before a judge in Manhattan , charged with a single count of felony incest. According to authorities, Professor Epstein was for several years involved in a sexual relationship with his adult daughter, now age 24. Though the story was ignored by much of the mainstream media, it quickly found its way into the cultural conversation. William Saletan of Slate.com, who remains one of today’s most relevant writers working on the issue...

If Homosexuality is legal why not incest?

Image
Image via Wikipedia The attorney for David Epstein , a Colombia university professor charged with incest with his adult daughter, is defending sex between family members by appealing to homosexual “rights” as a precedent. Epstein’s lawyer, Matthew Galluzzo, told ABC News that “It’s OK for homosexuals to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different? We have to figure out why some behavior is tolerated and some is not.” “What goes on between consenting adults in private should not be legislated. That is not the proper domain of our law,” Galluzo told the Huffington Post , which publishes Epstein’s articles. “If we assume for a moment that both parties are consenting, then why are we prosecuting this?” “Academically, we are obviously all morally opposed to incest and rightfully so,” Galluzzo stated in his interview with ABC . “At the same time, there is an argument to be made in the Swiss case to let go what goes on privately in bedrooms.” Galluzzo was refe...
