Democrat loses it over Barrett’s use of the term ‘sexual preference’

Image
ANOTHER OFFENSIVE DEMOCRAT Hawaii’s Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono raised eyebrows during Tuesday’s confirmation hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, with a particular line of attack focusing on Barrett’s earlier use of the term “sexual preference” to reference homosexuality. “Even though you did not give a direct answer” on the Supreme Court’s Obergefell ruling (which made same-sex “marriage” the law of the land), Hirono said, “I think your response did speak volumes.” “Not once but twice you used the term ‘sexual preference’ to describe those in the LGBTQ community,” she went on. “And let me make clear: ‘sexual preference’ is an offensive and outdated term. It is used by anti-LGBTQ activists to suggest that sexual orientation is a choice. It is not. Sexual orientation is a key part of a person’s identity. That sexual orientation is both a normal expression of human sexuality and immutable was a key part of the majority’s opinion in Obergefell,...

Judge rules in favor of adoption agency’s right not to adopt to gay couples, says lesbian AG ‘targeted’ them

Image
A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction allowing a Catholic adoption agency to continue operating according to its religious beliefs. His decision came just four days before the agency’s contract with the state was set to expire. District Judge Robert Jonker ruled in favor of St. Vincent Catholic Charities and against Michigan’s lesbian Attorney General, Dana Nessel, who before taking office in January had pledged to terminate state contracts with religious foster and adoption agencies that refused to place children in homes with same-sex couples.  In his ruling, Jonker said that Nessel had “targeted” the Catholic agency and that Nessel “is at the very heart of the case,” have accused proponents of religious exemptions from LGBT household placements as “discriminatory” and “‘hate mongers’ who disliked gay people more than they cared about children.” “The State’s real goal is not to promote non-discriminatory child placements, but to stamp out St. Vincent’s reli...

Lesbian attorney general may have just ended Christian adoption services in Michigan

Image
Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel has announced that taxpayer-funded adoption agencies with religious objections to placing children in homes of homosexual “married” couples will no longer be able to cite their faith as a legitimate reason to opt out of providing that service. The move has the effect of forcing religious adoption agencies to violate their consciences if they want state money. In a statement released Friday, Nessel, a liberal Democrat and a lesbian, declared that “discrimination in the provision of foster care case management and adoption services is illegal, no matter the rationale.” Nessel’s unilateral decision, which will likely bring to an end Christian adoption services in Michigan, serves as the settlement reached between the State of Michigan and the American Civil Liberties Union, which sued the state in 2017 on behalf of a lesbian couple who wanted to adopt but were turned away from St. Vincent Catholic Charities and Bethany Christian Services , two of...

Over 100 ‘religious leaders’ come out against Tennessee bills to defend marriage, religious adoption, separate bathrooms

Image
L eft-wing activists in Tennessee are boasting that more than 100 liberal “religious leaders” have joined their campaign to defeat a series of bills meant to restore natural marriage and protect the religious and privacy rights of adoption agencies, businesses, and schools from pro-LGBT encroachment. Six bills are currently before the state legislature covering a broad range of controversies related to homosexuality and transgenderism, the Nashville Tennessean reported. Taken together, they would allow religious adoption and foster agencies to refuse to place children in same-sex households; forbid local governments from taking “discriminatory action against a business entity” to punish its health insurance, family leave, minimum wage, or anti-discrimination policies; increase punishment for indecent exposure in bathrooms and dressing rooms; direct the state attorney general to defend schools from lawsuits over their refusal to admit gender-confused boys into girls’ restrooms ...

Christian adoption agency fights New York’s ultimatum to accept LGBTQ doctrine or close its doors

Image
Attorneys from the nonprofit Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) are asking the state of New York to stop singling out and punishing a Christian adoption agency because of its religious beliefs. In an interview, ADF attorney Jeana Hallock said at today’s hearing before Judge Mae A. D’Agostino, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York heard the appeal by New Hope Family Services for a preliminary injunction against the state of New York. According to Hallock, D’Agostino expects to issue a ruling soon on that request and also a request for dismissal issued by attorneys for New York. According to ADF, New York’s Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is threatening to shut down New Hope Family Services because of the religious nonprofit’s policy of prioritizing the placement of children for adoption in homes with a married mother and father. In a lawsuit against the state, New Hope asked a federal court in December to stop OCFS from targeting New Hope so that ...

Republicans protect religious adoption agencies from being forced to give kids to gay couples

Image
A Republican-dominated U.S. House committee has approved an amendment to a Labor and HHS spending bill that would prevent religious adoption agencies receiving taxpayer money from being forced to violate their beliefs by placing children with same-sex couples. While many see this as a step toward preserving religious liberty and ensuring the welfare of children, Democrats and LGBT activists are furious with the amendment's passage, calling it a "license to discriminate." The amendment addresses "two serious problems currently facing our nation," said Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Alabama, who introduced the amendment. “First, the current opioid epidemic has caused the number of children in foster care across America to skyrocket,” said Aderholt. The congressman noted that his home state of Alabama has seen a 30 percent increase in just the last four years: “These are children who are in desperate need of finding forever families.” “Secondly, several states and loc...

Legal battle ‘brewing’ over adoption agencies being forced to give kids to gay couples

Image
For now, Christian bakers have received a reprieve from being forced to participate in same-sex “weddings,” but it remains to be seen whether the Supreme Court will force religious adoption agencies to place children with gay couples. Nine states have laws protecting the rights of religious adoption agencies, the New York Times reports, but a legal fight is “already brewing” in some of those states. Nine other states “have laws that specifically prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation in adoption or foster care or both.” “Legal challenges to those laws, some pending in lower courts, eventually could come to the Supreme Court,” the Times predicted. “The high court's ruling on narrow grounds in favor of baker Jack Phillips did not spell out the circumstances under which religious objections to discrimination claims would have legal merit.” Some of the laws protecting religious adoption agencies from being forced to let same-sex couples adopt kids were passed after th...

New law: Christian adoption agencies won’t be forced to give kids to gay couples in Texas

Image
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law a bill that protects Christian adoption agencies from being forced to place children in homosexual -led households that intentionally deny the child a mother or a father. HB 3859 , the Freedom to Serve Children Act, allows faith-based adoption and foster care organizations to receive state funding without fear of legal retribution for declining to place children in homosexual-led households. Other conscience objections such as placing children with single or divorced adults are also covered. "We are very grateful to Governor Abbott for signing HB 3859, and for all of the hard work of Rep. James Frank and Senator Charles Perry to pass this bill that will allow faith-based foster care and adoption agencies in Texas to serve the children of Texas while maintaining our faith teachings," said Jennifer Carr Allmon, executive director of the  Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops . "Our ministries throughout the state are active...

3rd class Homosexual Marriage

Image
Below is an article written by a homosexual man , talking about either adopting a child or using surrogacy to try and create a family . It is a very off article. Why is it off? Because the homosexual relationship is sexually based, barren, against physical design - yet they are striving to create an image or a normal family.  It could be called pretend family or second class family - and it reflects the oddness of the male homosexual community the hierarchy, the groups seeking to pretend they are like heterosexual traditional families. Unfortunately, there is little focus on the child. The focus is on portraying an image - happy gay men can form a family. False and wrong. For Gay Parents , Deciding Between Adoption and Surrogacy Raises Tough Moral Questions When my husband David and I became new parents, we thought it would be fun and perhaps even affirming to get involved with a gay dads group. As far as I could tell, the only regular event was a brunch that took p...

Australia: Queensland to legalize homosexual adoption - putting kids at risk

Image
As part of a planned overhaul of the state's adoption laws, which were last reviewed under a Labor government in 2009, the Palaszczuk Labor government will introduce legislation this month which will allow singles, same-sex couples and couples undergoing IVF the right to adopt children. This will place children at risk especially for homosexual couples. This is the only logic that the minister can produce regarding making radical changes: "It is about time that Queensland caught up with other Australian states and territories to allow same sex couples to adopt children in Queensland," Communities Minister Shannon Fentiman said.  Other states go down a dangerous path therefore Queensland should follow! Why would a minister be excited about promoting an immoral relationship: "I am very excited that our review of the Adoption Act saw an overwhelming response from the Queensland community supporting same-sex adoption." The minister is proud of promoting immor...

Research: Kids of homosexuals parents

Image
It’s high time we consult the all-powerful God Of Science when we assess the effects of children raised in same-sex headed households. On several occasions, people have attempted to refute my position citing the studies that claim there is “no difference” in outcomes between kids raised by same sex-parents and kids raised in heterosexual households. This misapprehension must be corrected because, as Science God has demonstrated through his Omniscient Data, the opposite is the reality.  The children in these new family structures are faring worse than those who are raised by married heterosexual couples. Authors of the “no differences” studies typically use participants derived by non-random methods, employ small samples, and have few controls. They often rely on recruited or volunteer participants, and some simply ask the parents about child well-being rather than studying  actual outcomes  for children. In other words, mos...

Chilean gvmt ‘will not oppose’ gay adoption

With the collaboration of the socialist government of Michele Bachelet, homosexual organizations expect to win approval for gay couples to adopt children, in the reform of the Chilean adoption system that the Legislature will carry out during the upcoming months. During the last days of June and the first week of July, there have been meetings of the Minister of Justice, Javiera Blanco, with the homosexual lobby to address the legalization of adoption of children by homosexuals. One of the meetings happened on June 29, with the   Movimiento de Integración y Liberación Homosexual   (Movilh, in the Spanish acronym), and the other on July 3, with the Fundación Iguales. “The minister said she is favorable and explained that, should the government be consulted about the matter, it will make a positive pronouncement. This is very important in a moment when the Congress is debating a reform of the   Adoption Law ,” claimed Rolando Jiménez, an activist of Movilh, in   ...
