Mexico City bans treatment for unwanted LGBT attraction, threatens 5-year jail sentence

Image
Treatment to help overcome unwanted homosexual tendencies will soon be illegal in Mexico City under a new law enacted Friday by the city’s Legislative Assembly.  Under the legislation, which was first introduced two years ago, healthcare practitioners could spend up to five years in prison for conducting  “practices consisting of psychological, psychiatric sessions, methods or treatments that are intended to nullify, hinder, modify or impair the expression of gender identity, as well as the sexual orientation of people,” Mexico News Daily reported. Such treatments are commonly known as reparative or “conversion” therapy. THE BLIND PRO-LBGT ZEALOTS VIEW “There is nothing to cure. Homosexuality is not a disease, we are not sick,” declared the bill’s author, Morena party lawmaker Temístocles Villanueva.  I totally agree. It seems to me that these measures belong to the era of the Inquisition,” added Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum. “It does not correspond to...

House Republicans object to LGBT provisions of new NAFTA trade deal

Image
Among the accomplishments President Donald Trump is most proud of is renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. But a group of GOP lawmakers voiced concerns over the ramifications of language about LGBT “discrimination.” At issue is Chapter 23 of the deal, under which all three countries agree to “implement policies that protect workers against employment discrimination on the basis of,” among other things, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” “We recognize your tireless efforts to protect the American worker and the American economy,” 38 Republican members of Congress wrote in a November 16 letter to the president. “We are, however, deeply concerned by the unprecedented inclusion” of “sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) language for the first time in a Free Trade Agreement.” “A trade agreement is no place for the adoption of social policy,” the signatories declared, warning that the elevating SOGI cl...

Why I won’t marry Kylie until we have marriage equality’

Image
Better Than Today (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) JOSHUA Sasse is hoping for equality sooner rather than later after vowing not to marry Australian singer Kylie Minogue until same sex marriage is made legal here.  Who is this person?   Unknown man thinks by not marrying Minogue, it will change millions of Australians that homosexual marriage is NOT a disordered lifestlye and that gay marriage is simply worng! Sasse is oging to print t-shirt- "say I Do Down Under " campaign. “This could be anywhere, and I’m hoping after this that it creates a snowball affect and then it will be Say I Do in Greenland , South America , China and Russia, in all of the states that have anti- homosexuality laws.” THIS PERSON IS SURELY A JOKE? Unmarried Minogue said how “backward” Australia is on the issue of same-sex marriage and that “the earth didn’t cave in” in other countries where it has been legalised and that “love is love”. Well, Paris last week had its biggest protest on ...

Massive Mexico City pro-family march protests gay ‘marriage,’ gender ideology

Image
Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators marched through the heart of Mexico City on Saturday to protest a proposed constitutional amendment to create   homosexual “marriage” and adoption in Mexico as well as plans to impose sex education inspired by gender ideology . The marchers walked from the National Auditorium down the city’s main avenue, the Paseo de la Reforma , to the Angel of Independence , one of the most important monuments of the city. Although city officials estimated attendance at 20,000, march organizers and Church officials cited estimates of 400,000-450,000. Drone video provided by organizers indicated a large crowd stretching down the Paseo de la Reforma, but the video did not include a flyover of the entire march route. Demonstrators dressed in the customary white shirts of Mexico’s pro-family movement chanted and held signs with such slogans as “You can see it, you can feel it, the family is defending itself,” “The family, united, will never be defea...

Mexican bishop says he’ll evangelize in prison if he’s locked up for ‘homophobia’

Image
The Catholic bishop of Cuernavaca, Mexico , is being investigated in response to his opposition to the gay agenda , according to national and local media sources, but he says if he goes to prison he’ll take advantage of the opportunity to bring the Gospel of Christ to the inmates there. Bishop Ramón Castro has been informed that he’s being investigated in response to a complaint by the socialist governor of the state of Morelos , Graco Ramírez , for speaking out against the creation of homosexual “marriage,” which was recently passed by the state legislature and signed into law by Ramírez. He is accused of “homophobia,” according to Mexican news outlets. The bishop is reportedly accused of “meddling in politics” for denouncing the gay agenda on numerous occasions, as well as for organizing a meeting at the Cathedral of Cuernavaca for the purpose of hearing the complaints of various civil organizations about the crisis of violence and criminality affecting the state. His acc...

Gay marriage is legal in Mexico, but Mexicans are still fighting over whether it should be allowed

Image
Gay couples in Mexico already can get married. But 1 million strong demonstrations across the country in recent days show that, politically at least, the issue of homosexual marriage is far from settled. Millions marched throughout the country this past Saturday to protest President Enrique Pena Nieto's initiative to legalize homosexual marriage. Counter-protesters came out in force, too. Yet the media ignored the numbers and focuses on one single boys protest - liking it to China's Timamen Square protest. The National Front for the Family, a coalition of conservative religious groups, called for the protests. The coalition is also planning a mass march for Sept. 24 in Mexico City. "Long live the family, in the image of the Virgin Mary, the baby Jesus and Saint Joseph," read one sign at the protest in the city of Puebla, the capital of a central Mexican state with a strong Catholic presence. "Papa + Mama = Happy Family," read another sign at that protest,...

1 million march in Mexico against homosexual ‘marriage’ - not 10,000 as reported by news

Image
More than one million Mexicans across 122 cities marched in support of marriage and the natural family on Saturday in response to President Enrique Peña Nieto’s moves to enshrine same-sex “marriage” in the nation’s Constitution. The pro-family activist group   Frente Nacional Por La Familia   (“National Front for the Family”) organized the protests. There were an estimated 275,000 marchers in Guadalajara and 100,000 in Querétaro. Some other cities’ protests reached nearly 100,000. Frente Nacional Por La Familia   warns   that Peña Nieto’s proposed reforms would allow same-sex adoption and lead to the collapse of parental rights related to sex change surgery on children and school curricula promoting homosexuality, transgenderism, and sexual activity. The demonstrators carried pink and blue balloons and signs depicting families. A spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Mexico City recently said the government’s mission to impose same-sex “marriage” has led ...

Gay lobby following plan to destroy family, corrupt children: Mexico City archdiocese

Image
In a pair of editorials published in the diocesan newspaper, the Catholic archdiocese of Mexico City is warning the faithful that the international gay lobby is seeking to destroy families and children with propaganda leading them to accept same-sex relationships and even to change their “gender identity.” “Years ago, people with homosexual preferences were regarded as mentally ill,” notes the archdiocese in one of the recent editorials. “Today, there are ‘gay pride’ marches. How did we pass from one extreme to another? It’s owing to a plan that was carefully studied, elaborated, and financed by international lobbies that seek to destroy the family because they see it as an archaic and repressive institution.” “That is how they induced the World Health Organization to take homosexuality off the list of psychiatric illnesses,” the archdiocese continues. “They then promoted the idea that it was very normal to be attracted to the same sex: on television and in the movies ‘gay’ c...

Mexico’s ruling party clobbered in elections following push for gay ‘marriage’

Image
Mexico ’s Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) has just lost its 86-year dominance of Mexico’s state governments in a massive electoral upset following a new initiative by Mexican president and PRI member Enrique Peña Nieto to amend the constitution to create homosexual “marriage.” For the first time since the PRI was created in 1929, the party no longer holds a majority of state governorships. Out of 17 states holding elections on June 5, the PRI won only five states and lost four states with 19% of the country’s population. The result is that the PRI now holds the governorship in only 15 of the country’s 31 states, with 45% of Mexico’s population. The party is also out of power in the nation’s Federal District . The president’s initiative , announced on May 17, includes a   massive propaganda campaign   to convince public school students and the population in general that homosexuality and transgenderism are normal and morally acceptable, as well as membershi...

Pastor tells trans activist: Gay ‘rights’ are ‘false rights’

Image
The transsexual known as Diana Sanchez, whose biological sex is male and is a political figure in Mexico City ’s leftist party PRD , wrote a letter to Mexico ’s Churches, on July 29 demanding he and other pastors “obey” the Pope in “abstaining from discriminating and judging homosexuals.” Referring to the recent marches that have taken place across the country in favor of the right to life and the protection of natural marriage, the activist demanded that all pastors be investigated and “punished” when they “promote discrimination against citizens based on their sexual orientation” and “allowed and encouraged homophobic attacks.” He especially mentioned a particular pastor, whose city saw 80,000 marchers take to the streets on July 25. The activist argued that the decriminalization of abortion, which has been legal in Mexico City since 2007, and the recent legalization of “marriage” between persons of the same sex have been a “good for the population.” The Pastors ans...

Tens of thousands take to street in Mexican cities to protest gay ‘marriage’ decision

Image
Tens of thousands took to the streets of major Mexican cities under the slogan “ Mexico is One for the Children,” to ask the government to respect state constitutions that define marriage as the union of one man and one woman, after a recent Supreme Court ruling legalized same-sex unions throughout the country. “We are not against any person, we are against this Supreme Court imposition,” said Sofia Miranda, one of the organizers, in an open letter to media who were criticizing the cause. This, she continued, “opens the door to gender ideology and will destabilize our society and damage our children. This is what we don’t want.” Marchers were also asking their parental rights be recognized, as Congress is seeking to pass a national law which will “guarantee the access to contraceptive methods” without parental consent to all girls.  The law also states all children have a “right to intimacy,” they should not be discriminated against on the basis of their “sexual pref...
