Homosexual EDNA legislation immorally supported by Apple
APPLE chief executive Tim Cook joined the White House in backing a bill to ban workplace discrimination against gay and transgender employees. "At Apple, we try to make sure people understand that they don't have to check their identity at the door," Cook wrote in an opinion column in the Wall Street Journal . "As we see it, embracing people's individuality is a matter of basic human dignity and civil rights." Cook said he supports the Employment Nondiscrimination Act pending in the US Senate which he said would, "at long last protect workers against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity ". He also called on the House of Representatives to bring it to the floor for a vote. The problem with this bill is that it removes authority from the employer and forces them to possibly employ people whose lifestyle is opposite to and from the values of the company.
