Children's Day Dumpeds for Transgender Day of Remembrance

UNICEF is marking the day with a campaign to End Violence against children. The most degrading of crimes – slavery, trafficking, forced labor, sexual abuse – are easier to commit, and hide, when perpetrated against children. Children are in greatest need of defenders. Despite the global consensus against violence against children, the most widespread lethal violence globally occurs with the approval of governments and elites: abortion. Nevertheless, children’s welfare is something we can all get behind. So it was a surprise to see the Obama administration ’s message to the world on Universal Children’s Day. Desmond Tut won't worship a homophopic God?

When Pope Francis declared last week, “who am I to judge?” in reference to gay people who “seek the Lord,” the media went haywire. Dr. Al Mohler, the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has a helpful article telling everyone to calm down, as the Pope hardly said anything new. All Christians believe that sinners need to be treated with respect and compassion, as Jesus modeled and commanded. And when a person who is struggling with any sin, and is “seeking the Lord” he should not be judged or condemned, but rather helped and counseled. So, the Pope and I agree on something (I know, it’s a cold day here too). There is another prominent cleric, whom I seldom agree with on the issue of homosexuality, who made a cameo appearance in last week’s prurient media cycle. The colorful Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu has amassed an impressive treasury of struggle credentials (the Apartheid version of ‘street cred’). UN launches worldwide immoral campaign for homosexual rights

Image
The UN human rights office has launched a media campaign promoting homosexual and transgender rights. The yearlong initiative, funded by outside sources, raises questions over the use of UN offices for what some governments will consider propaganda. The UN leaders’ campaign to cast sexual rights as universally agreed human rights comes after years of failing to gain governmental support for homosexuality. Attempts to legitimize special rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ( LGBT ) have repeatedly failed at the Human Rights Council, the governing body over the UN office that produced the campaign. Navi Pillay , the UN’s top human rights official, announced the “Free & Equal” campaign last week in South Africa. One ad proclaims, “ LGBT rights are human rights.” In another, Pillay states LGBT rights are “nothing new or special.” Critics point out that human rights apply to all people. LGBT rights are distinct, and lead to instituting same-sex marriage, requ

Desmond Tutu and a homophobic heaven?

Desmond Tutu 2007 at the Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag in Cologne 2007 (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) By the world's standards, Desmond Tutu , the retired archbishop of South Africa , is an intelligent and influential man. A social rights activist who became known worldwide in the 1980s as a staunch opponent of apartheid, Tutu has been a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize , the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism , the Pacem in Terris Award , the Sydney Peace Prize , the Gandhi Peace Prize and the Presidential Medal for Freedom.1  Yet, in the eyes of the Lord God, Desmond Tutu is a fool ( Rom 1:22 ). He has ignored scripture completely, and affronted the holiness of God and the righteous of Christ. There can be no other conclusion based on his odd comments. Desmond Tutu says he would rather go to hell than to ‘homophobic heaven’

Image
CAPE TOWN, South Africa , - Speaking at a press event in Cape Town during the launch of a UN campaign promoting homosexual "rights," retired Anglican archbishop Desmond Tutu said he would prefer to go to hell than to worship a "homophobic" God or go to "homophobic heaven." "I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven. No, I would say sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place," Tutu said at the launch of the UN's "Free and Equal" campaign.  Archbishop Desmond Tutu "I would not worship a God who is homophobic and that is how deeply I feel about this, " he said.  Tutu was joined at the "Free and Equal" press event by UN Human Rights High Commissioner Navi Pillay and Justice Edwin Cameron of the South African Constitutional Court .  There they announced the launch of the year-long project, which the  UN's website  describes as a “global public education campaign to promote greater

UN poised to pass homosexualist ‘human rights’ declaration pushed by Obama administration

Image via Wikipedia The United Nations Human Rights Council is reportedly on the verge of passing a homosexualist ‘human rights’ declaration that has been promoted by the administration of U.S. President Barrack Obama , the Associated Press is reporting. The resolution on “Human rights, sexual orientation and gender identity ,” denounces “discrimination” against homosexuals.  It also implies that traditional human rights declarations, which do not mention sexual orientation or “gender identity,” also apply to sexual orientation. The declaration expresses “grave concern at acts of violence and discrimination, in all regions of the world, committed against individuals because of their sexual orientation and gender identity.”  It also cites a previous resolution of the UN General Assembly to the effect that “the Human Rights Council shall be responsible for promoting universal respect for the protection of all human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, without distinction of
