Stop cramming LGBT propaganda down the throats of ex-homosexuals and ex-transgenders

Image
June, the formerly wonderful month marking the beginning of summer, is now a dreadful 30-day ordeal during which corporate America, news and social media compete to display their “wokeness,” relentlessly force-feeding us LGBT propaganda whether we like it or not.   Many don’t like it. Those of us who formerly lived as gays, lesbians, and transgender men and women are especially appalled by it. The rainbow flag is not an emblem of freedom; it is an offensive symbol of bondage, bondage that eats away at the souls of men and women who are unable to  escape  the  dark dominion  it represents.   Here’s a brief sampling of what Facebook – and many of the companies I now only begrudgingly patronize – tried to cram down my throat day after day during June: Our hometown Washington Nationals struck out on Facebook    Facebook Screenshot Our Electric Company’s shocking Facebook promotion.      Facebook Screens...

Pittsburgh wants to revoke Chick-fil-A’s sponsorship of kids event over Christian marriage views

Image
America’s most successful Christian food chain may be driven out of a children’s community event in Pittsburgh over the owners’ Christian-based view of marriage and homosexuality if the Pittsburgh City Council has its way. The Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon is a one-mile run slated for May 2019. The event is for children and their families participating in the annual DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon. It’s affiliated with the Kids of STEEL physical activity and nutrition program. All nine members of the Pittsburgh City Council have a problem with Chick-fil-A’s sponsorship of the event, however, and have signed a letter pressuring marathon organizers to drop the company, The Blaze reports . “The leadership of Chick-Fil-A has openly and passionately promulgated hateful beliefs against the LGBTQIA+ community,” the letter reads . “Additionally, the company has financed organizations staunchly opposed to same-sex marriage and non-discrimination laws and other groups that eq...

PA school shows teens LGBT propaganda videos, refuses to let parents see them

A Pennsylvania school district is under fire for showing students pro-homosexual videos without parents’ consent and refusing to let parents see the videos for themselves afterwards. For the pro-LGBT National Day of Silence on April 27, the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) at Emmaus High School selected four videos that were played during morning announcements, the Morning Call  reported . Two of the titles included "9 Questions Gay People Have About Straight People" and "Show your pride. Share your love.” Those videos have since been identified. The BuzzFeed-produced “ 9 Questions ” video features LGBT speakers mocking the description of homosexuality as a “lifestyle” rather than “just my life,” claiming gay couples not reproducing is a non-issue because “technically the world is overpopulated,” mocking straight people for being offended by assumptions that they’re gay, denigrating heterosexual marriage for high divorce rates, and more. The YouTube-produced “ Sho...

This banquet hall was sued for refusing to host same-sex ‘weddings’ – and won

Image
A Christian business owner in Pennsylvania has won a rare court victory after refusing to host a same-sex “wedding” at his banquet hall . John Antolick was sued by Ashley Giarratano and her mother, Barb, for a refund of the $1,000 deposit they had put down for Giarratano’s wedding and reception after learning through social media that his Inne of the Abingtons banquet hall had previously turned down a lesbian couple who wanted to hold their “wedding” at the facility. Giarratano is heterosexual and engaged to a man, but her mother told Citizen’s Voice that “discrimination goes against everything we believe in as a family,” and that “our conscience wouldn’t allow us to invite our gay and lesbian friends and family to a wedding at a place they know openly discriminates against them.” But Antolick denies discriminating against lesbians and gays. "We are happy to host dinners, birthday parties, or just about any other kind of event regardless of a client's sexual orientati...

Image
HARRISBURG, PA , May 8, 2014  – The Pennsylvania House State Government Committee  convened on Tuesday  to discuss a resolution to impeach Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane after she declared she would not defend the state’s marriage amendment. At the hearing, Democratic legislators quickly called a vote to adjourn.  When their movement failed, all ten Democrats strode out of the room in protest , leaving Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), who is leading the initiative, and other conservative lawmakers to carry on without them. Kane was not present at the hearing. Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane “We could have had an exchange of ideas today,”  Metcalfe said after they left . “They clearly are not able to defend her, so instead chose to run.” The committee has not yet voted on the motion.  Should the committee pass the resolution to impeach Kane, the State Senate would then judge the case, as per Pennsylvania law.  An...

JANINE AND JIM EDEN/FLICKR A same-sex marriage ceremony at a United Methodist Church in New York The trial of a United Methodist Church (UMC) minister who performed a same-sex marriage ceremony has been halted by a bishop before it began. Meanwhile, a retired UMC bishop may face a trial of his own for a similar ceremony. Bishop Martin McLee of New York committed this week to stopping all such trials in his region. The New York Times has the details . Meanwhile, Religion News Service reports on the latest (and highest-ranking) dissident to potentially face punishment , and assesses how geography is shaping the "emerging dynamic that allows some pastors in the country's second-largest Protestant denomination to skirt rules banning clergy from performing same-sex wedding , while others risk costly church trials and the loss of clergy credentials." "The just resolution provisions of the Book of Discipline are clear in voicing just resolution as the pref...
