Baker decision won't be justices' last word on homosexual false agenda

Image
A flood of lawsuits over immoral unreasonable LGBT agenda is making its way through courts and will continue, no matter the outcome in the Supreme Court's highly anticipated decision in the case of a Colorado baker who would not create a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. Courts are engaged in two broad types of cases on this issue, weighing whether sex discrimination laws apply to immoral  LGBT people and also whether businesses can assert religious objections to avoid complying with secular  anti-discrimination  measures in serving customers, hiring and firing employees, providing health care and placing children with foster or adoptive parents. The question must be asked who decided and on what basis were these anti-discrimination laws founded. They are now being abused by the LGBT ideology. The outcome of baker Jack Phillips ' fight at the Supreme Court could indicate how willing the justices are to carve out exceptions to poorly written secular anti-dis...

Oregon school districts pull out of reading contest over transgender book

Image
Two Oregon school districts are cancelling their participation in a state reading competition due to organizers’ inclusion of a “children’s book” about transgenderism. The annual Oregon Battle of the Books consists of students reading from a list of books, organizing into teams, and then competing in quizzes about the books’ content. This year, however, a group of Hermiston School District principals decided that third, fourth, and fifth graders should not participate, the Oregonian   reported . The Cascade School District   concurred  soon after. A third, Bend-La Pine Schools , is not pulling out but  will begin  requiring parental permission for elementary-level participants. At issue is the book “ George ” by self-described "queer activist" Alex Gino , whose titular main character is a 10-year-old boy who feels like a girl and starts calling himself “Melissa.” In 2015, the Scholastic Corporation sent teachers and school librarians 10,000 cop...

Parents become ‘accidentally gay’ when pregnant wife decides she’s transgender

Image
A man and a pregnant woman consider themselves "accidental gay parents" because the man is gay and the woman identifies as a man. Biff Chaplow (formerly John) and Trystan Reese have been a couple for about seven years, NBC reported in an article on the "trans pregnancy." Reese is biologically a woman but identifies as a gay man. Chaplow is a man who is attracted to other men,  but identifies as the family "mom"  because "moms come in all different shapes, sizes, and dare I say... genders." Reese has been identifying as a man since before they started dating. She and Chaplow became the foster parents of Chaplow's niece and nephew and eventually adopted them. NBC reported : ...initially Chaplow and Reese thought there was a possibility the two children would be returned to Chaplow’s sister. But after the situation deteriorated, the two men filed for emergency guardianship of Hailey and Riley and years of legal proceedings followed....

Pro-marriage judge facing ethics charges defends decision to not ‘marry’ same-sex couples

Image
An ethics hearing is underway for an Oregon judge who refused to perform same-sex “marriage,” a probe his attorney says will test whether conservative judges are allowed to hold traditional beliefs on marriage. As Marion County Circuit Judge Vance Day fights the probe, now four days into a two-week hearing, his attorney says Day is a test subject for those who want him and others gone from the bench. “He’s the vehicle by which this issue is being litigated in Oregon,” said Ralph Spooner, according to Northwest News Network. “He’s the one they picked on. He’s got the target on his back." Day is being hit with numerous charges, including allegations that he treated same-sex couples unequally to heterosexual couples. A supporter of natural marriage, Day declined to perform same-sex ceremonies and subsequently decided to stop overseeing all such unions. While Oregon judges are not required to perform marriages , the Judicial Commission's attorney said that “when a judge in ...

Oregon moves to seize property from couple who refused to bake cake for lesbian ‘wedding’

GRESHAM, OR, -  The State agency that   ordered an Oregon Christian couple to pay   two lesbians $135,000 for   refusing to take part   in their homosexual “wedding” has begun legal proceedings to seize the couple’s assets. Aaron and Melissa Klein, of   Sweet Cakes by Melissa , were fined by an administrative judge this past spring after declining in January 2013 to bake a cake for the same-sex event based on their religious beliefs. The fine had been ordered by The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries , which had accused them of violating   the Oregon Equality Act of 2007. “Our agency has docketed the judgment and is exploring collection options,” said Charlie Burr, communications director for the Bureau, The Daily Signal   reports . Docketing the judgment means putting it on the formal records of the court, and is the first step the Bureau must take in the course of seizing the Kleins’ house, property, or other assets...

Confused Oregon Catholic school changes policy to allow teacher in gay ‘marriage’

English: Steeple of St. James Catholic Church in Chicago, USA (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) An Oregon Catholic school modified its employment policy and is now allowing employees to stay on board while claiming to be married to members of the same sex, placing it at odds with the Catholic Church and Catholic institutions elsewhere in the U.S. taking steps to strengthen Catholic identity. The Board of Directors for St. Mary's Academy in Portland voted August 26 to add sexual orientation to its equal employment policy, "to amend and broaden St. Mary's policy on equal employment," and bring it "in line" with the school's "mission and beliefs."  While its action is incongruous with Catholic principles, the Board said in its announcement   that the school remains deeply committed to its Catholic identity. "St. Mary's is a diverse community that welcomes and includes gay and lesbian students, faculty, alumnae, parents and fri...

Oregon judge hit with ethics probe after refusing to do gay ‘marriages’

Image
An ethics investigation has been launched against an Oregon judge who ordered his staff to recommend same-sex " marriage " requests to other judges, even though he isn't required to perform the ceremonies. On Thursday, Judge Vance Day’s spokesperson, Patrick Korten, confirmed that Day was being investigated by the Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness because of his opposition to redefining marriage. While Day has never performed a same-sex "marriage" in his four years on the bench, it was only this past spring that he told his staff to recommend other judges to same-sex couples that request him to oversee "marriage" ceremonies. In 2014, Day decided to stop doing weddings at all, except for one in March of this year that had been previously scheduled, according to Korten. "He made a decision nearly a year ago to stop doing weddings altogether, and the principal factor that he weighed was the pressure that one would face to perform a sam...
