Mozilla and Homosexuals Mafia shoot themselves in the foot

Image
Pundits and others across the political spectrum, including numerous supporters of same-sex "marriage," are criticizing Mozilla for forcing out former CEO and cofounder Brandon Eich. Eich, who invented JavaScript , accepted the position of CEO in late March. However, within days activists had launched a campaign to force him out over a $1,000 donation he made to support Proposition 8 in 2008. Homosexual activists and their supporters, including the online dating company OKCupid , initiated boycotts and media pressure against Mozilla. Despite the company's assurances that Eich would always treat employees equally, the pressure was unrelenting, and Eich stepped down less than two weeks after taking the helm. According to openly homosexual Republican strategist Jimmy LaSalvia , who co-founded GOProud , "There are no winners here." LaSalvia told LifeSiteNews.com that while he believes the battle over acceptance of homosexual relationships is "over...

Hollywood: Driving the Homosexual Agenda for 40 Years

Ellen DeGeneres in 2009. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Hollywood celebrities exuberantly celebrated President Obama’s recent declaration of support for gay marriage. But Hollywood did not have to come out of the closet and support homosexuality – it has long used its influence to purposely swing public opinion in favor of homosexuality. For several decades, Hollywood has shown its overt support for homosexuality. Brokeback Mountain was nominated for Best Picture for its unabashedly sympathetic portrayal of a doomed gay relationship. Newt Gingrich ’s half-sister officiated at a gay wedding on “Friends” in the 1990s. More recently, late night talk show host Conan O’Brian officiated at an actual gay wedding. Homosexual advocacy on television first began to manifest itself in the 1970’s. In 1972, made for TV movie “That Certain Summer” featured Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen as a gay couple. In 1973, “An American Family” was the first television show to feature an openly gay charac...

Illinois Catholic Social Services branch drops Catholic affiliation to provide homosexual adoptions

Image via Wikipedia BELLEVILLE, ILLINOIS, February 1, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – What’s in a name? Sometimes more than meets the eye. Catholic Social Services of Southern Illinois is changing its name to Christian Social Services of Illinois as of today, but the shift is more than one of semantics. The social agency is ending its 64-year affiliation with the Diocese of Belleville so it can provide adoptions to homosexual couples. “CSS has chosen to become independent of the Catholic Diocese of Belleville in order to adhere to the new State of Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act and to avoid closing the agency,” the formerly Catholic service  stated  in a press release. It added, “The mission and values of Christian Social Services will remain the same.” Gary Huelsmann, the agency’s executive director, said, “Although we are sad to lose our Catholic identity, we are excited to be able to broaden our base of support to other Christian traditions .”...

‘The bigotry question goes both ways,’ Catholic Gingrich tells pro-gay media

Image
MANCHESTER, New Hampshire , January 13, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Although eager to point out “bigotry” by Christians who do not embrace gay rights, the media is strangely quiet about the increasing discrimination against Christians , according to Newt Gingrich . Gingrich delivered the remarks during a GOP presidential candidate debate in Manchester earlier this week, noting that the one-sidedness of the “bigotry” question demonstrates serious bias in the mainstream media. Newt Gingrich “You don’t hear the opposite question asked. Should the Catholic Church be forced to close its adoption services in Massachusetts because it won’t accept gay couples, which is exactly what the state has done?” Gingrich asked. “Should the Catholic Church be driven out of providing charitable services in the District of Columbia because it won’t give in to secular bigotry?” “Should the Catholic Church find itself discriminated against by the Obama administration in key delivery of services because...
