Church of England non-Binary priest - madness

Image
Meet the Church of England's first "non-binary" priest, who has a wife and three kids, but claims to have been led by God "to the truth about" gender identity. A man who goes by "they/them" pronouns and thinks that Jesus loves sparkly eyeshadow is now a Christian priest in one of the most preeminent church denominations in the world. Yep, Bingo Allison, a father of three. The "they/them" who is now a priest at an Anglican "church." (Just in case you were wondering how woke the Church of England is now.) The DailyMail has the profile on Bingo, so the following quotes will use the gender-neutral "they/them", but remember that Allison is a man. Allison spoke about their '15-year journey to embrace their gender in an interview with the Liverpool Echo. 'My views used to be very traditional and very conservative certainly. Some might call them bigoted and there was a lot of ignorance and a lot of ''othering'...

Church of England to accept gay marriage if one changes gender after wedding - stupid!

Image
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NON-BIBLE BELIEVING PEOPLE RUN A CHURCH The Church of England says it will accept same-sex marriage, but only if the spouses were a man and woman before changing gender.  What a foolish non-biblical incoherent statement! The advice means couples will be under no pressure from the church to divorce if one of the transitions. Transgender activists have called the significant shift in direction ‘encouraging’ but accuse the church of still not accepting gender reassignment. The change was revealed ahead of today’s General Synod of bishops – the national assembly of the Church of England.  THIS IS SIMPLY MADNESS. A question on whether the church would accept a marriage involving a transgender person is one of more than 100 to be addressed at today’s meeting in York. Prudence Dailey, the churchwarden of Oxford’s St Michael at the North Gate, asked if the church’s definition of marriage as a ‘lifelong and exclusive union between one man and one...

Church of England introduces baptism-style ceremony for gender ‘transitions’

Image
While the Church of England is stopping short of calling its newly instituted blessing for “transgenders” a second baptism, priests are being directed to offer baptism-style ceremonies for those announcing their new sexual identity. What does the Bible say? It doesn't recognize this at all! In a newly issued pastoral guidance, the clergy is being told to call men by their new female names, and women by their new male names. The guidance declares, “For a trans person to be addressed liturgically by the minister for the first time by their chosen name may be a powerful moment in the service.” Transgenderism has historically been a mental health problem not to be celebrated nor recognized or made legitimate by any church. Now here the lied - tradition overrules God and scripture:  “It should be noted that the giving or adoption of a new name has a long history in the Judeo-Christian tradition as may be evidenced from Scripture,” continues the new guidance. “In some C...

U.S. Episcopal Church bows to gay pressure, deletes ‘husband and wife’ from marriage liturgy

Image
The Church of England is torn over plans by The Episcopal Church (TEC) in the United States to efface the terms “husband” and “wife” – as well as references to “procreation” – from its marriage liturgy. The change is meant to make the church’s marriage ceremonies more “gay-friendly.” Gay and lesbian Episcopalians have complained that the language of the current liturgy is offensive and exclusionary. The move prompted a critical response from Church of England SecrSecretary-General liam Nye last October, strongly urging the TEC to reconsider. The letter threatened to cut ties with the U.S. church if it adopts the planned gender-neutral, replacing the current wording in its Book of Common Prayer . “The new service removes the phrase ‘the union of husband and wife’ and replaces it with ‘the union of two people,’” according to a report in the U.K. Telegraph . It also “replaces the section which talks about part of God's intention for marriage being ‘for the procreation of childre...

Anglican cleric disciplined for entering same sex marriage

Image
The recent decision of the England and Wales Court of Appeal in  Pemberton v Inwood  [2018] EWCA Civ 564 (22 March 2018) upholds what was in effect disciplinary action taken against a Church of England clergyman, the Reverend Canon Jeremy Pemberton, on account of his entering into a same-sex marriage. The decision is a sensible one which upholds the religious freedom of the Anglican church to operate in accordance with its fundamental religious beliefs. 1. Background Canon Pemberton is not a “beneficed” clergyman with the care of a parish, but is an ordained priest in the Church of England, who married a same-sex partner in April 2014, after the commencement in the UK of the  Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 . That Act contains very clear statements that the Church of England doctrine of marriage is not to be impacted by the change in “secular” law (see eg s 1(3) which explicitly preserves the operation of any Canons of church law providing...

Normalization of the abomination of homosexuality

Image
Conservatives politicians and bible believing churches see same-sex marriage as incompatible with what they regard as the traditional definition of a union between a man and a woman. In fact, followers of Christ see gay marriage as disordered love, empowered by demonic forces to destroy Holy matrimony. Others on the radical left do not see the point in fighting for something they keep saying is inherently flawed. There is no doubt that marriage today doesn't match Christian marriage ideals especially with marriage being based on feeling rather than covenant and easy divorce. The radical left see marriage as a conservative institution that has long been used as a tool of oppression, power and the oppression of women . The LGBTQ people pushed gay marriage to make gay people fit into cookie-cutter relationships that makes their love more palatable to society. This critique is known as "assimilation". Unfortunately, it fails with people of faith. It succeed...

Anglican Church endorsed homosexual marriage - attendances still dramatically dropping

Image
Anglican prelates are in the historic precincts of Canterbury, England, as the world’s largest Protestant denomination struggles to maintain unity. Hosted by the Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Justin Welby , lord archbishop of Canterbury and spiritual head of the Anglican Communion , the meeting of primates, as the heads of the 39 national or regional churches historically and ecclesiastically aligned with the Church of England are called, comes at a time of increasingly deep differences. On one hand there is the establishment, underpinned by both the traditional deference shown to the archbishop of Canterbury and the loyalty that inevitably comes with the influence peddling of the wealthy U.S.-based Episcopal Church . The establishment seeks to preserve the Anglican Communion as it exists now, despite the very real possibility that the already deep differences could become a schism with churches in the so-called Global South — Africa, South America and Southeast Asia — ceasing to recogn...

Homophobia sinful but unsure about Homosexuality - Justin Welby Anglican Communion

Image
Justin Welby has said he struggles with the question of whether gay sex is a sin and acknowledged that the gulf between conservative and liberal Anglicans on the issue is “irreconcilable”.  The Bible is very clear regarding the sinfulness of homosexuality but the head of the Anglican Church appears to want to sit on the fence and not offend - why doesn't he declare what the scripture clearly teaches? Asked if gay sex was sinful, Welby said: “You know very well that is a question I can’t give a straight answer to. Sorry, badly phrased there. I should have thought that one through.” Pressed on why he could not answer, the archbishop said: “Because I don’t do blanket condemnation and I haven’t got a good answer to the question. I’ll be really honest about that. I know I haven’t got a good answer to the question. Inherently, within myself, the things that seem to me to be absolutely central are around faithfulness, stability of relationships and loving relationships.” Welby sa...

Parents pull children out of pro-LGBT school. Now they’re getting hate mail

Image
ISLE OF WIGHT, England  — The UK parents who pulled their two young sons from a Church of England school because of a government-funded push to normalize “ transgenderism ” have faced continued contempt for speaking out. Nigel and Sally Rowe have received hate mail and been the subject of intense public criticism since voicing their concerns publicly. Sally Rowe said she is “scared stiff” from the campaign of hate being conducted against them, the  Daily Mail   reported , and she is terrified for her family’s safety. “This transgender agenda is almost like a trendy thing that’s infiltrating schools, and if you don’t subscribe to it you are a bully,” Sally said. “The hatred we’ve received is ... is … ” Struggling to get her words out, she said, “This is painful for us, really painful. We’ve been so churned up. This is our community, our friends and now ... now … ” Sally Rowe’s phone has chimed with nasty texts in the wake of the couple going public and br...
