LGBT activists protest pediatrician for saying transgendering kids is child abuse

Image
Pro-transgender activists gathered outside a Rhode Island Catholic Church last week to protest a lecture delivered by pediatrician Michelle Cretella, who views  affirming transgenderism in kids  as a form of child abuse . Dr. Michelle Cretella, MD, FCP, president of the American College of Pediatricians , is a prominent expert in children’s health who has battled against the relentless promotion of transgender ideology as it impacts kids. At issue was a recently-enacted Rhode Island law which prohibits parents from seeking psychological help for their gender dysphoric children.    Rhode Island Catholic   explained the reason for Cretella’s presentation at the Church: Last year, the State of Rhode Island made it illegal for a licensed medical professional to counsel a child away from the desire to change his/her gender identity, yet it remains legal to inject that same child with hormone blockers and cross-sex hormones. Currently, Rhode Isl...

Gay Aussie couple sue printer for sending religious pamphlets instead of wedding programs

Image
Australian homosexual couple  were excited to see the homosexual wedding programs they ordered for their immoral  gay wedding . But when the package arrived, the gay couple also found Christian pamphlets with messages about homosexual temptation and gay sin.  The immoral sinful unbalanced homosexual couple are so upset that a Christian would insert biblical truth into the box that they are taking a federal lawsuit against printing company Vistaprint - to teach people a lesson! The lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday in Massachusetts , accuses Vistaprint of attacking, abusing, vilifying the couple because they're gay by replacing their wedding program order with the biblical truth about homosexuality - which they conveniently call - "hateful and discriminatory."   WHY ARE HOMOSEXUALS EASILY HURT AND OFFENDED AND SELF-RIGHTEOUS? The two homosexual men have a unrighteous immoral agenda.  "Their goal is to hold Vistaprint accountable fo...

Rhode Island House votes to ban ‘sexual orientation change’ therapy for LGBT kids

Image
The Rhode Island House voted Tuesday to unanimously approve a bill banning pro-heterosexual change therapy for minors, which LGBT activists derisively label “conversion therapy.” The bill’s sponsor, Democrat Rep. Joseph McNamara, used some of the most overheated rhetoric heard to date in the national debate on this topic, saying the bill “protects minors from this barbaric, dangerous, and discredited practice,” the  Providence Journal  reported . McNamara, chairman of the Health, Education and Welfare Committee, cited those who testified in favor of the ban, saying, “They spoke of depression, attempted suicide, substance abuse, and numerous negative outcomes from this so-called therapy,” according to the newspaper. The  Journal  echoed the rhetoric of LGBT activists who are now claiming to be victims of the Trump administration after being coddled for eight years under the most pro-homosexual and pro-“transgender” president in American history, Barack Ob...

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) WOONSOCKET, Rhode Island , March 7, 2016 ( LifeSiteNews ) – A Rhode Island Catholic school has instituted a policy against enrolling transgender students . However, in the face of backlash the school says it is open to rethinking the policy. “Mount Saint Charles Academy is unable to make accommodations for transgender students,” the school’s handbook states. “Therefore, MSC does not accept transgender students nor is MSC able to continue to enroll students who identify as transgender.” The policy against admitting students identifying as transgender has been in effect at the Woonsocket, Rhode Island , prep school as of October of last year, according to The Daily Beast . It was recently noticed by some alumni, th...

Slavery and Homosexual arguments don't work with LGBT arguments

Image
English: Slaves Waiting for Sale - Richmond, Virginia. Oil, 20¾ x 31½ inches. Painted upon the sketch of 1853 (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Matthew Vines, another proponent of gay marriage and author of   God and the Gay Christian , writes, “In the 19th century , experience played a key role in compelling Christians to rethink another traditional—and supposedly biblical—belief. This time, the issue was slavery” (15).  Vines claims that Christians have made pivotal decisions based on the principle of good fruit and bad fruit. For example, the early church decided to include Gentiles . Likewise, 19th-century Christian abolitionists “appealed to conscience based on the destructive consequences of slavery. A bad tree produces bad fruit” (15). So, for Vines,  the church was basically supportive of slavery throughout history until the 19th century, when “experience” brought about a reinterpretation of Scripture.  But is this a fair historical ac...

Canadian border officials ban Russian film opposing homosexual agenda

Image
Sodom , a hard-hitting, Russian-made documentary film claiming to expose a homosexual campaign to undermine Western morals, has been banned by Canada’s Border Services Agency. American anti-homosexuality crusader Peter LaBarbera has just been notified personally of the decision by the CBSA, formerly Canada Customs , because his copy of the 2014, hour-long film was seized as he crossed the border this spring. “It’s absurd for a democracy like Canada,” said LaBarbera, who is the founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality . “I don’t endorse everything in this film. But I hate to see a great nation like Canada suppressing debate in the name of political correctness. It weakens a nation, it debilitates it. In a free society people evaluate information themselves. They don’t give the responsibility to a bureaucrat.” LifeSiteNews contacted Canada’s Border Services Agency for an explanation of the decision, but did not hear back by press time. Dr. Charles McVe...

Immoral Homosexual Marriage Now Legal in One-Third of U.S. States

Image
Today a judge struck down Utah's 2004 ban on same-sex marriage as unconstitutional. If the ruling stands, Utah would become the 18th state to permit gays and lesbians to wed. The Associated Press reports : U.S. District Judge Robert J. Shelby issued a 53-page ruling Friday saying Utah's law passed by voters in 2004 violates gay and lesbian couples' rights to due process and equal protection under the 14th Amendment. Shelby says the state failed to show that allowing same-sex marriages would affect opposite-sex marriages in any way, and the state's unsupported fears and speculations are insufficient to justify deny allowing same-sex marriages. Update (Dec. 19): New Mexico has become the 17th state (plus D.C.) to l egalize same-sex marriage , after the state's supreme court ruled today that denying marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples is unconstitutional. The Washington Post notes : Many counties in New Mexico had already been issuing marriage licenses to...

How churches can respond to homosexuals who attend services

Image
Imagine this no-longer-hypothetical situation: Matt and Alex Jones-Smith, newlyweds, arrive on a Monday morning in summertime to register their adopted daughter, Rachel, for Vacation Bible School at Maranatha Bible Church on Main Street. What should be the response of the Sunday school superintendent? Provide directions to the nearest liberal congregation. Register Rachel for Vacation Bible School and then hand the couple Marantha Bible's statement of faith, including the part on human sexuality where homosexual behavior is condemned. Proceed with registration, and then ask the Jones-Smiths, legally married in the eyes of the state, to meet with the pastor to talk about baptism and membership. None of the above. The Unbiblical Marriage This week, Minnesota and Rhode Island became the 12th and 13th states to allow same-sex marriage. With the favorable U.S. Supreme Court rulings in June, there will be more same-sex marriages nationwide for years to come. The 2010 federal ce...
