The Pope dismisses the Bible on the sin of homosexuality

Image
In a new film that will premier in North America Sunday but premiered in Rome today, Pope Francis has made his most clear   statements contradicting Catholic Church teaching   by calling for homosexual civil unions to be legalized. Speaking of homosexual civil unions, he said, “What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that.”  One does not have to be a theologian or a moral expert to know that such statements are totally heterodox and constitute a very serious cause of scandal for the faithful.' Archbishop Vigano has replied with an extensive analysis of the situation . In addition, U.S. bishops Joseph Strickland and Thomas Tobin have commented. It is not the first time Pope Francis has contravened Church teaching in the matter of homosexuality, but it is one of his clearest statements contravening established Church teaching. In 2003, in a document by then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) and approved and ...

The Pope said - God made gays

According to an article in  El Pais ,  Spain ’s largest newspaper, Pope Francis told a male sex abuse victim: “ God made you gay.” The comments were allegedly made during a meeting between Pope Francis and the victims of Chilean Catholic sex-offender priest Fernando Karadima . One of the men abused by the priest, former seminarian  Juan Carlos Cruz , described his meeting with Pope Francis. Jesuit priest James Martin posted a link to the interview on his social media accounts which included a translation of one comment made by the Pope to Cruz: James Martin, SJ ✔ @JamesMartinSJ 20 May Pope Francis: "God made you gay." https:// infovaticana.com/2018/05/19/cru z-asegura-papa-le-dijo-dios-te-gay/  … James Martin, SJ ✔ @JamesMartinSJ "Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like that and he loves you like that, and I do not care. The Pope wants you like that, you have to be happy with who you ...

Gay male prostitute outs dozens gay priests - Catholic Church in trouble

Image
A scandal now sending shockwaves through the Catholic Church erupted last week when a gay male prostitute produced a  massive dossier  outing scores of priests who allegedly lead a double life of both ordained minister and homosexual sex -fiend. The dossier included seminarians as well.  The author of the dossier, gay “escort” Francesco Mangiacapra, said he wrote the report because he could no longer stand the “hypocrisy” of the many priests he serviced. The 1,200-page dossier, replete with explicit  WhatsApp messages, erotic photos , and lurid descriptions of priests involved in gay sexual activity and drug use, was forwarded to the Vatican by the Archbishop of Naples .   “I want to explain right away that mine is not a gesture that goes against the Catholic Church, indeed, it is paradoxically in its favor,” said Mangiacapra in an interview with  Catania Today . “The goal isn't to hurt the people I've mentioned [in the dossier], but to help ...

Archbishop rebukes top cardinal’s proposal for liturgical ‘blessing’ for homosexuals

Image
An influential archbishop in the United States has issued a strong warning after Germany ’s leading cardinal endorsed the idea of introducing a formal rite of “blessing” for homosexual couples. Archbishop Charles Chaput says a “blessing rite” such as that proposed by Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx would “undermine the Catholic witness” on marriage and “wound” the unity of the Church. YOU CALL SINNERS TO REPENTANCE NOT TO CELEBRATIONS! “The imprudence of such public statements is—and should be—the cause of serious concern,” the archbishop of Philadelphia wrote in his weekly column on Tuesday. “It requires a response because what happens in one local reality of the global Church inevitably resonates elsewhere—including eventually here.” Cardinal Marx has become one of the most influential prelates under Pope Francis . He serves on the council of nine cardinals who are advising the Pope on Church reform. He is president of the German bishops’ conference , and preside...

Pope Francis chooses pro-LGBT priest to guide Lent retreat who holds Jesus didn’t ‘establish rules’

Image
Pope Francis has selected a Portuguese “priest-poet” to preach at his 2018 Lenten retreat who is an open promoter of the “critical theology ” of a Spanish nun who defends the legalization of abortion and government recognition of homosexual “marriage” and adoptions. Father José Tolentino Calaça de Mendonça, vice rector of the Catholic University of Lisbon , wrote the introduction to the Portuguese translation of “Feminist Theology in History,” by Teresa Forcades, whom the BBC calls “ Europe ’s most radical nun.” In the introduction to Forcades’ work, Tolentino de Mendonça tells the reader that Jesus didn’t leave any rules or laws to mankind, an idea that he approvingly applies to Forcades’ “critical theology.” “Teresa Forcades i Vila reminds of that which is essential: that Jesus of Nazareth did not codify, nor did he establish rules,” writes Tolentino de Mendonça. “Jesus lived. That is, he constructed an ethos of relation, somatized the poetry of his message in the vi...

Homosexual pictures removed from booklet ahead of Pope’s visit to Ireland for family event

Image
Mary McAleese (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Pictures of homosexual couples have been removed from a booklet sent to parishes ahead of Pope Francis ‘s expected to visit to Ireland in August for the World Meeting of Families (WMF) in Dublin . The informational booklet “Amoris: Let’s talk Family ! Let’s be Family!” originally included five pictures of immoral sinful homosexual couples. All of them were removed by the WMF office in Dublin, along with language. “While the Church upholds the ideal of marriage as a permanent commitment between a man and a woman, other unions exist which provide mutual support to the couple,” the now absent text read. Such blatant lies in simple wording. What should have been said was there are other unions which are immoral, against God 's direct teaching, are condemned as God has already judged such relationships a described in Romans 1 .  Pope Francis incorrect non-biblical 2013 headlines for his comments when asked about gay people . “If a per...

Confused Theologians who don't read their Bibles -use Pope Francis’ teaching to argue gay sex no longer ‘grave sin’

Image
In a January 16, 2018 “ Commentary ” for “The National Catholic Reporter ,” Creighton University Professor Todd A. Salzman, chair of the Department of Theology at Creighton, and Michael G. Lawler, professor emeritus, disagreed with the decision by certain US Bishops to possibly deny a Catholic funeral for someone who died while in a same-sex “married” relationship. They single out Bishop Thomas Paprocki of the Diocese of Springfield for specific criticism. From of a “ Decree ” issued by Paprocki, Salzman and Lawler are especially troubled with the following directive: Unless they have given some signs of repentance before their death, deceased persons who have lived openly in a same-sex marriage giving public scandal to the faithful are to be deprived of ecclesiastical funeral rites. In the case of doubt, the proper pastor or parochial administrator is to consult the local ordinary, whose judgment is to be followed. Concerning those individuals in a same-sex “marriag...
