Irish bishops cave into offering fake ‘marriage counseling’ and ‘sex therapy’ to gay couples

Image
Ireland’s Catholic bishops have reportedly caved into government demands to provide “marriage care service” that includes “marriage preparation” and “marital sex therapy” to homosexual couples. The bishops’ decision, seen as a move to avoid losing government funding, seems to place fiscal considerations over fidelity to Church teaching. At issue is nearly €1.6 million in government funding for Accord , the counseling service administered by the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ICBC). In 2016, the Irish government, now headed by the homosexual Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, supplied roughly one-quarter of Accord’s operating budget. Back in January, Catholic marriage and family counseling agencies in Ireland were told they must accept LGBT-identifying clients, otherwise, they would risk losing government funding. The Catholic service had a formal policy of not accepting homosexual couples on religious grounds, reported The Times. In 2015, Ireland became the first country to legalize ...

Homosexual pictures removed from booklet ahead of Pope’s visit to Ireland for family event

Image
Mary McAleese (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Pictures of homosexual couples have been removed from a booklet sent to parishes ahead of Pope Francis ‘s expected to visit to Ireland in August for the World Meeting of Families (WMF) in Dublin . The informational booklet “Amoris: Let’s talk Family ! Let’s be Family!” originally included five pictures of immoral sinful homosexual couples. All of them were removed by the WMF office in Dublin, along with language. “While the Church upholds the ideal of marriage as a permanent commitment between a man and a woman, other unions exist which provide mutual support to the couple,” the now absent text read. Such blatant lies in simple wording. What should have been said was there are other unions which are immoral, against God 's direct teaching, are condemned as God has already judged such relationships a described in Romans 1 .  Pope Francis incorrect non-biblical 2013 headlines for his comments when asked about gay people . “If a per...

Gay Marriage - then the Government removed religious freedoms in Ireland

Image
Ireland has stripped away laws which protected the rights of people to freedom of religion when in conflict with gay rights. The move comes just weeks after the first Irish gay weddings went ahead, following a referendum to allow gay marriage earlier this year. Following the landslide defeat for opponents of same sex marriage – the referendum was lost by 62 per cent in favour of gay marriage to 38 per cent against – Ireland’s Parliament has been busy with a slate of reforms designed to cement the rights of gay people within Irish law . On Tuesday night the latest bastion against religious intolerance was swept away, as the Dáil voted unanimously to repeal Section 37 of the state’s Employment Equality Act. Section 37 granted specific exemptions for “religious, educational or medical institutions” when it came to gay rights, allowing them “to maintain the religious ethos of the institution”. Removing the section will mean that LGBT teachers will be free to talk to school pupils abo...

Ireland: All Religious Freedom gone - Homosexual must be employed in Faith Schools, charities and hospitals

Image
Church Schools and Church hospitals, Charities, adoption agencies, Bible Colleges, church institutions, churches- will not be able to discriminate over sexuality, Minister says. A planned change to equality gay law will “raise the bar” so high that Church schools and Church hospitals will not be allowed to discriminate against staff or job applicants because they are homosexual, Minister of State for Equality Aodhán Ó Ríordáin has said. The Government is working on an amendment to the Employment Equality Act, which allows religious-run schools and hospitals to discriminate in order to maintain their ethos. Homosexual groups say the law has an effect on homosexual and lesbian teachers, who feel their sexuality could hinder employment or promotion prospects. Mr Ó Ríordáin said he believed an attempt to repeal section 37.1 of the Act, which gives religious-run workplaces an exemption to discrimination law if an individual undermines their ethos, could be unconstitutional . US Embassy in Australia - interfers in Australia homosexual marriage debate

Image
English: Justice of the High Court of Australia, Michael Donald Kirby. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) A former Australian high court judge says Pacific Island nations are dragging the chain on LGBTI rights . Although, the UN has not designated homosexuality as a human right. But if people keep saying - some people believe it. Michael Kirby , a homosexual an a former High Court Judge said on Thursday Pacific nations must re-evaluate their stance on gay rights and reform anti gay laws. "When I was young in Australia the law also criminalised gay people, but eventually scientific evidence showed they don't choose their sexual orientation, and they can't change it, and therefore to criminalise it is like punishing them for their skin colour or race, or some other irrelevant consideration," he told ABC Radio on Thursday ."  Unfortunately, the APA now says that you are not born gay. So why does Kirby keep telling untruths implying - gays can''t chang...

Australian Labor Party intolerant of those who hold traditional marriage views

Image
The same-sex marriage debate entered a new phase of intolerance with Labor voting to expel parliamentarians who advocate man-woman only marriage. In two Parliaments time , Labor MPs and Senators who vote against redefining marriage will be expelled from the party. Australian Christian Lobby Managing Director Lyle Shelton said this was devastating for the millions of ethnic, indigenous and religious Australians who will never support a state-imposed redefinition of marriage . "Sadly this is a cynical ploy to force the Coalition to drop its policy on marriage when Labor's real agenda is one of intolerance to its own who dissent. "If this is the principle Labor forces its people to comply with, what will be the out-working of this principle on dissenters when it is next in power? "Will there be freedom of conscience to choose not to provide services to same-sex weddings? "Will Christian, Muslim and Jewish schools be allowed to teach children a definition of ...

Ireland’s ‘trans’ bill will grant state recognition to teens’ chosen gender

Image
DUBLIN, February 26, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Ireland’s Parliament has proposed a bill that would allow 16 year-olds to have their “gender” changed on their birth certificates and passports. The Minister for Social Protection , Joan Burton , said she would bring the proposal to Parliament on Tuesday. The Gender Recognition Bill  proposes to have the state recognize a person’s “acquired gender” for all purposes, including birth certificates, marriage and civil partnership registries. The draft bill, brought forward in the summer, proposed setting the age limit at 18. But the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection criticized this, saying that 16 year-olds can consent to surgery. The government has responded with a revision that allows 16-year-olds to have their new “gender” recognized by the state with parental consent. The committee wanted a section dropped that required married “transgendered” persons to obtain a divorce before the state woul...

Dublin archbishop responds to gay ‘marriage’ debate suggesting gay civil registrations

Image
DUBLIN, Ireland , February 18, 2014  - Faithful Catholics in Dublin are in an uproar over their own bishop. While homosexual activists are working hard in Ireland in the build-up to a national referendum on “gay marriage,” Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has suggested civil recognition of homosexual relationships as an alternative, a notion that runs counter to established Vatican teaching. “I believe that there are ways in which, civil registrations for example, in which gay and lesbian people can have their rights respected and legally protected,” said Archbishop Martin in  an interview  with the state broadcaster RTÉ . Archbishop Diarmuid Martin “There can be ways in which gay people can celebrate their togetherness, their love for one another, but it isn’t marriage,” he added. “It doesn’t necessarily mean that a civil partnership is somewhat of less value than marriage.” In contrast, the Vatican teaching on the matter is clear and emphatic. The  2003 Vat...

Former Irish president McAleese accuses Catholic Church of ‘homophobic’ attitude

Image
IRELAND, January 15, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Former Irish President Mary McAleese , a dissident Catholic who is an outspoken support of homosexuality and women priests,  has criticized Catholic teaching on marriage and family as “homophobic” and “completely contradictory to modern science and to modern understanding”. Referring to disgraced Cardinal Keith O'Brien , McAleese suggested that Catholic opposition to homosexuality is the result of closeted homosexuals within Church leadership hoping to divert attention from themselves by raising a voice against homosexuality “in the most homophobic way”.  McAleese suggested that Catholic opposition to homosexuality is the result of closeted homosexuals within Church leadership hoping to divert attention from themselves "Things written by Benedict, for example, were completely contradictory to modern science and to modern understanding, and to the understanding of most Catholics nowadays in relation to homosexuality,” s...

Coca-Cola Homosexuality - 24 pack (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The beverage company is the latest to be targeted by gay activists, who also recently attempted to get hit reality TV show Duck Dynasty dropped from the A&E network after one of its stars, Phil Robertson, said in an interview that he believed the Bible labeled homosexuality a sin. Coca-Cola is currently airing a series of television commercials throughout Europe for its new " Reasons to Believe " campaign. The campaign's purpose is to inspire viewers by showing that for every negative situation in life there is an equally positive experience. The commercial includes a sequence of negative experiences, such as losing a wrestling match or public vandalism, juxtaposed with positive situations, such as a mother frosting a cake or people dancing to live music. Most versions of the new commercial, including the Dutch, Norwegian and British versions, end by showing a same-sex couple getting married. The I...

Homosexual Marriage is not about equality but power

Image
Rainbow flag. Symbol of gay pride. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Same Sex Marriage is not some warm fluffy equality bunny, it's a bare-faced state power grab. The state gets to entirely remake marriage, not as the man/woman/child model we've inherited from 10,000 years of history and across all cultures but as an anything-goes irrelevant partnership agreement between adults. Only a man and a woman have children despite every fantasy the gender-busters want us to believe. Every child has a right to that natural life. Same sex marriage asks us to ignore reality and children's rights to a mother and father. Marriage will be made irrelevant because this re-make says that, for the first time, children and parenthood has no natural place in marriage. If you have children, the kindly, benevolent state will set your relationship with them. If you don't want a gay marriage don't get one? Everyone gets one because, in the eyes of the state, marriage will be about adults, n...
