How to loose your job - Facebook a comment against LGBT agenda

Image
SOMERVILLE, NJ , – A Catholic school has decided not to rehire a  theology teacher who rejected the argument in favor of gay “marriage” on her private Facebook page , her family has announced. The controversy began last week after a student found a Facebook post by Patricia Jannuzzi, a 57-year-old theology teacher at Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey. In it, Jannuzzi said that advocates of redefining marriage argue that they “are born this way and it is not a choice, to get 14th amendment rights equal protection” – which was intended for “unchangeable characteristics such as race and disability.” Then, “they will argue everyone should be able to choose” to engage in the homosexual lifestyle. The former student, Scott Lyons, a homosexual who says he is “married” to another man, posted a message branding Jannuzzi's views as “extreme.” His aunt, actress Susan Sarandon, reposted it and it went viral, spawning a petition to the school administration on Chang...

CINCINNATI, OH , March 10, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – In a move designed to protect itself from lawsuits, the Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati has expanded its morality clause to specifically bar Catholic school employees from publicly supporting positions that clash with Catholic doctrine . According to local news , in contracts sent to 94 principals covering over 2,000 employees, the archdiocese spelled out specific policies on public behavior and personal lifestyles. The contract prohibits the “public support of” out-of-wedlock sexual activity, “homosexual lifestyle,” abortion, surrogacy, in vitro fertilization, and – among other prohibited behaviors – “flagrant deceit or dishonesty.”  Cincinnati Archbishop Dennis Schnurr It also strictly bans employees from engaging in any of the behaviors listed above, as well as others.  The specific layout of the restrictions appear to be related to conflicts over the last five years. Socialist political parties seek removal of Spanish bishop for ‘homophobia’

May 17, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - A trio of socialist political parties in the government of Alcalá de Henares, Spain , has passed a resolution demanding the exclusion of the local bishop from all local government functions for preaching the Catholic Church’s doctrines on homosexual behavior, which it characterizes as “homophobic.” The resolution also asks that the Spanish Episcopal Conference remove the bishop from his position as head of the diocese. Bishop Juan Antonio Reig Plà incurred the ire of socialists and homosexual groups in Spain when he gave a sermon  on Good Friday in early April that included homosexual behavior in a list of destructive vices. With regard to homosexual behavior, Reig Plà said: “One must not corrupt people, not even with false messages. I would like to say a word to those people carried away by so many ideologies that end up failing to properly guide human sexuality. They think that since their childhood they have had an attraction to ...

Image via Wikipedia The superintendent in charge of “equity and inclusion” at the Toronto Catholic school board , who has come under fire from Catholic parents and ratepayers after appearing to ridicule Catholic teaching on homosexuality, says his comments were “taken out of context.” The school board did not respond to a direct question about whether superintendent Keyes agrees with the Church’s teaching that homosexual acts are gravely depraved and the homosexual inclination is “objectively disordered,” as stated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church . In an interview with Xtra, Canada ’s top gay magazine, on June 22, Patrick Keyes appeared to ridicule an amendment that would have required the Catechism of the Catholic Church to be referenced whenever homosexuality is discussed.   “[The amendment] stated that every time a teacher spoke about homosexuality they had to also say to students, ‘By the way, you’re intrinsically disordered,’” he said. “For some people, [h...

Praying to the god of anti-homophobia at Catholic school board?

Image
Image via Wikipedia The Toronto Catholic school board , the largest in Canada, opened a workshop to develop their policy on equity and inclusive education earlier this year with a prayer calling the homosexual inclination a “manifestation of [God’s] goodness.” The revelation has Catholic parents calling foul and pleading for the bishops of Ontario to have another look at the equity policy. The prayer, read at the January 24th meeting, asked Christ to “give us all the grace to own our sexual identity, whatever its orientation, as another manifestation of your goodness.” “Give us the vision to recognize and reject the homophobia around us and in our own hearts, as well,” it added. The revelation heightens concerns that some at the board are using the equity policy, which comes as part of the Ontario government’s mandatory and controversial equity and inclusive education strategy, to subvert Catholic teaching in the area of homosexuality. Sr. Joan Cronin, head of the Ontario bishops...
