Homosexual twist scripture

What is the meaning of arsenokoitai, which Paul uses in 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 and 1 Timothy 1:10–12? Pastors who agree with Homosexuals Arsenokoitai cannot refer to “homosexuals” because there is no preceding occurrence of this word with such a meaning. In the lists of vices, the word means “homosexual acts,” “pederasts,” or “active male prostitutes” or refers to ritual impurity. These were the prevalent forms of homosexual activity that found some disapproval in contemporary codes or among the Jews. Paul’s word cannot refer to those of a homosexual orientation or to those who live in a mutually respectful and committed homosexual relationship; these are modern phenomena, unknown to Paul. Biblical Pastors Answer The English term homosexuals is an appropriate correspondent to arsenokoitai, given both ancient sexual practice and today’s usage. We have ample evidence that ancient Greeks and Romans knew about homosexual orientation and that some Greeks practiced a mutually respectful, ...

The same sex controversy is over the authority and interpretation of the Bible

Image
The clamor for the acceptability of homosexuality, which is heard even in the church, is not without a stated authoritative base. The people making this claim appeal to the Bible and assert that a homosexual lifestyle is perfectly compatible with its teaching. The same-sex controversy is, at its core, a controversy over the authority and interpretation of the Bible. Throughout the history of the church, and revealed in the historical understanding of Scripture,5 homosexuality has been seen as contrary to the morality set forth in the pages of the Bible. Today, however, we are being told that the moral opposition to homosexuality, based in and upon Scripture, is actually a rather recent phenomenon. We are being “informed” that the Bible nowhere condemns homosexuality as it is predominantly known and practiced today and that, as a matter of fact, a lifestyle of committed homosexuality is consistent with biblical morality. Ironically, this makes for a remarkable case of selectivity in...

U.S. Cardinal: Calling gays out of sin ‘sounds a little backhanded to me’

Image
CLUELESS PRIESTS Cardinal Joseph Tobin told the  New York Times  that it would have been “backhanded” of him to mention anything about sin to the “ LGBT pilgrims” who he personally welcomed to a Cathedral Mass last month. On Sunday, May 21, the Cardinal was on hand at Newark’s Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart to personally welcome homosexuals on a so-called “LGBT Pilgrimage.” When asked by the  New York Times  if he should have used the event to call the “LGBT pilgrims” out of sin, Cardinal Tobin replied: “That sounds a little backhanded to me.”  “It was appropriate to welcome people to come and pray and call them who they were. And later on, we can talk,” he said.  The Cardinal said that to “combine his welcome with a criticism would not have been a full welcome at all.” Cardinal Tobin is one of a growing number of priests and prelates who now challenge the Catholic Church’s perennial teaching on the meaning and purpose of human...

QANTAS position promote child sexual experiments

'Qantas has been part of our dream to become parents': Two homosexuals write a tribute to the airline that brought their illegal surrogate sons home to Australia . They shared an image themselves cradling illegal surrogate sons on a Qantas jet in support of the airline's CEO Alan Joyce . The Sydney -based couple, who are on Instagram as Inz_Tribe , and describe themselves as 'two fathers, two sons and a fur child', posted the picture on Monday after Immigration Minister Peter Dutton rebuked publicly the self-interest of homosexual and CEO of QANTAS Joyce for speaking out in support of same-sex sin. 'Thank you @qantas and its CEO Alan Joyce for supporting same-sex marriage here in Australia,' a caption alongside the photo read. NOW IS IT TIME TO FEEL FOR THESE TWO BABIES? These boys will be raised in a homosexual culture, without mothers and will definitely grow up as part of a sinful immoral experiment - to make to men feel like they are having a ma...

The Marginalization of Moral Argument in the Same-Sex Marriage Debate

Image
“ Somewhere along the way, standing up for gay marriage went from nervy to trendy.” This was the assessment offered by Frank Bruni , an influential openly-gay columnist for The New York Times . Bruni’s column, published just as the Supreme Court was poised to hear oral arguments in the two same-sex marriage cases now before it, is a celebration of the fact that, as he sees it, same-sex marriage is soon to be the law of the land, whatever the Court may decide. “The trajectory is undeniable. The trend line is clear. And the choice before the justices is whether to be handmaidens of history, or whether to sit it out.” Bruni may well be right, given the trajectory and the trend-line he has described. Of course, Bruni, along with his fellow columnists, editors, and reporters for The New York Times will, along with their friends in the larger world of elite media, bear much of the responsibility for this. They are certain that their work is the mission of human liberation from irration...

Pope Francis compares pushing gay agenda to ‘Hitler Youth’ indoctrination

Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini in Munich, Germany, ca. 06/1940 (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) In comments at his Monday in-air interview that were totally ignored by the mainstream media, Pope Francis lamented the Western practice of imposing a homosexual agenda on other nations through foreign aid , which he called a form of “ ideological colonization” and compared to the Nazi propaganda machine. Asked by a reporter to explain the phrase “ideological colonization,” the pope gave an example from 1995 when, he says, a minister of education in a poor area was told she could have a loan for building schools so long as the schools used a book that taught “gender theory.” "She said yes, and also made them give another book, of a different orientation. And so she succeeded," he explained according to a transcript by America , the Jesuit magazine known as the English-language publisher of a  major papal interview  in 2013. "This is ideological colonization. They en...

Perhaps we need a new Revolution to defend marriage: author

Image
Robert R. Reilly has penned one of the most important books on same-sex ‘marriage’ to date, yet the book has seen little coverage  even from conservative  media.  Making Gay Okay , published by Ignatius Press earlier this year, has answered how and why the movement for gay “marriage” has swept America and the only way to defeat it – a way that has been largely ignored, with predictable results. In an interview with  LifeSiteNews,  Reilly, who served as senior advisor for information strategy for the U.S. Secretary of Defense from 2002 to 2006 and has taught at the National Defense University , noted with wit that the most immediate cause of the current situation in America was “the sexual revolution in the 1960s that separated sex from diapers.” “If heterosexuals can rationalize their sexual misbehavior, why can’t homosexuals rationalize theirs?” he said. “The deeper cause has been the overthrow of the ‘ Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God’ as a sou...
