LGBT mob attacks - Bank to close Christian counseling accounts

Image
Two Christian organizations that help people deal with unwanted same-sex attraction and gender identity issues have been notified by their bank that their accounts will be closed.  The move by Barclays Bank follows a social media attack demanding that the bank end its professional relationship with Core Issues Trust (CIT) and The International Federation for Therapeutic and Counselling Choice (IFTCC), incorrectly accusing both groups of promoting “conversion therapy.”    Earlier this month, Facebook and Instagram likewise caved to pressure from activists to cancel CIT, limiting its outreach to and accessibility for people seeking help . Mailchimp and PayPal have also reportedly cut off CIT accounts, crippling the organization’s ability to communicate with supporters or receive donations. The  tweet  that launched the attack appeared on July 3: EXCLUSIVE:  Pride In London  headline sponsor,  Barclays , are currently enabling UK Gay...

Wedding vendors will be forced to participate in gay ‘marriages’ under new N. Ireland law

Image
A politician in Northern Ireland has pointed out that the new law legalizing same-sex “marriage” in the region will not allow civil registrars, hoteliers, florists, and wedding photographers to refuse their services for homosexual “weddings.”  The Northern Ireland (Executive Formation etc) Act 2019, the same piece of legislation that introduced new abortion laws into the region, has also legalized same-sex “marriage,” effective from January 13 of this year.   Same-sex “marriage” has been legal in the rest of the U.K. since 2013, but until last month had not been imposed on Northern Ireland. On January 20 the Northern Ireland Office (NIO), the U.K. Government department responsible for Northern Ireland affairs, launched a public consultation, focusing on questions around the freedom of various groups and individuals to opt-out of such ceremonies. Under the new laws, churches and other religious groups will not be compelled to celebrate such “weddings.”  But N...

Homosexual ‘marriage’ coming to Northern Ireland at midnight as assembly fails to block

Image
The Stormont assembly failed to fully assemble Monday in a last effort to block two sweeping “reforms” imposed on Northern Ireland by the United Kingdom, meaning abortion will be decriminalized and same-sex “marriage” recognized in the province by midnight.  Homosexual marriage is and always will be an affront against God, marriage and biology.  In July, the UK Parliament voted 328-65 to repeal Sections 58 and 59 of Northern Ireland’s 1861 Offences Against the Person Act, which forbid both women and doctors from committing abortions, as well as to recognize same-sex “marriage.” Complicating the issue was the fact that Northern Ireland’s assembly has been suspended for more than two years and has been unable to reach an agreement on reconvening. The UK Parliament had set a deadline for the province’s assembly to come together by October 21, otherwise it will begin legalizing abortion. Northern Ireland peer Baroness O'Loan worked to circulate a petition to recall lawm...

Coca Cola, IBM among corporations demanding N. Ireland allow same-sex ‘marriage’ or fake marriage

Image
Nearly thirty companies from and outside Northern Ireland have signed a letter calling on the province to recognize same-sex “marriages” within its borders. Organized by the left-wing Amnesty International UK,  the letter  argues that redefining marriage is an economic necessity. “A diverse, outward-looking and inclusive society is essential to create a vibrant and competitive economy and a prosperous future for Northern Ireland,” it claims. “Equality contributes to an environment of creativity and excellence where our LGBT staff feel able to bring their whole selves to the workplace and where their relationships will be respected.” Signatories include Allstate, Axiom, the Bank of Ireland, Citi, Coca-Cola, IBM, Liberty Mutual Insurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sodexo, and more. “Without full legal recognition of same-sex marriages retaining and attracting talent can be difficult,” Rainbow Project director John O’Doherty claimed. “The brain drain from Northern Ire...

Teen refuses teacher’s demand to hang poster LGBT poster at Catholic school

Image
A teenage boy at St. Patrick’s Grammar School in Northern Ireland refused a teacher’s request that he hang up a poster promoting an “ LGBTQ+ youth forum.” The boy and his parents are complaining that such a poster doesn’t belong in a Catholic school . “We are sending our children to get a Catholic education in a renowned Catholic school,” the boy’s father told the  Irish Times , speaking anonymously. The poster his son was asked to hang was “promoting a lifestyle that we vehemently disagree with.” The student’s parents have retained a lawyer (solicitor), who is seeking an assurance from St. Patrick’s that this won’t happen again. The “LGBTQ+ youth forum” is organized by homosexual/transgender activist group Cara Friend. Cara Friend praised St. Patrick’s Grammar School for promoting its event. St. Patrick’s Grammar School “is an excellent example of promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility in schools,” Declan Meehan , deputy director of Cara Friend, told the  Be...

Homosexual Scottish Secretary urges DUP to change its position on immoral homosexual sin

Image
The Scottish Secretary David Mundell  a homosexual has called on the Democratic Unionist Party to "change its position" on homosexual sin. Theresa May is due to meet the DUP leader Arlene Foster on Tuesday to finalise a deal on propping up her minority government. Mr Mundell, the Conservative MP for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale who has been reappointed Scottish Secretary, became the first openly- gay Conservative Cabinet secretary when he came out in January 2015. Questioned on the DUP's stance on gay rights , he said he does "not subscribe" to the Northern Irish party's position. Northern Ireland is the only part of the British Isles where same-sex marriage remains outlawed. This is a good thing! "We're not in any way signing up to the DUP manifesto. Most of these issues are devolved to the Northern Ireland Assembly." He added: "I would like to see the DUP change its position, and indeed Northern Ireland as a whole chan...

Theresa May appoints Justice Secretary opposed to LGBT rights who said 'marriage is for procreation of children'

Image
New Justice Secretary David Lidington has consistently opposed LGBT rights including gay marriage and has voted in favour of repealing the Human Rights Act . Prime Minister Theresa May replaced Liz Truss with the MP for Aylesbury during her cabinet reshuffle, following the Conservatives’ disastrous performance in the general election. He will also hold the office of Lord Chancellor .  But the 60-year-old's record shows he has voted against gay rights since the 1990s. This is to be celebrated! Ruth Davidson storms out of interview over DUP gay rights question Mr Lidington takes a traditional view of marriage and was one of just 47 MPs to vote against the civil partnerships bill in 2004, which other MPs who opposed gay marriage for religious reasons were happy to vote for. According to the website, They Work For You , Mr Lidington twice voted against allowing same-sex couples to marry in 2013. He also voted against an amendment to the Adoption and Children Bill to allow same-...

Why the gay cake verdict proves our freedom is under threat

Image
David Robertson responds to the news that a Christian run bakery in Northern Ireland has   lost an appeal   against a ruling that it discriminated against a gay man by refusing to make a cake bearing a pro- gay marriage slogan. We have finally arrived. We said that we would get here but we did not expect it to be so soon. The Ashers Bakery decision given today is a real signpost to the promised secular nirvana where in the UK we now have a system of state doctrine that must be obeyed. For those who are not aware of this case   my original post  provides the basic background.   This interview   that we conducted with Daniel and Amy McArthur shows what a lovely and thoughtful couple they are, and the dangers that have come from the Equalities Commission pursuing them.  The judges have today declared that the bakers were not allowed to provide a service only to people who agreed with their religious beliefs . The only problem with that p...

'Homosexual cake' appeal: Christian bakers Ashers lose appeal

Image
The Christian owners of a Northern Ireland bakery have lost their appeal against a ruling that their refusal to make a "gay cake" was discriminatory . IMMORAL HOMOSEXUAL POLITICS LOOSES AGAIN - GAYS SHOW THEIR REAL COLORS - JUDGES HIDE BEHIND FALSE LAWS Appeal court judges said that, under law, the bakers were not allowed to provide a service only to people who agreed with their religious beliefs . Two years ago, the family-run firm refused to make a cake iced with the slogan: "Support Gay Marriage". The order was placed at its Belfast shop by gay rights activist Gareth Lee. Timeline: Bakery discrimination case 'Gay cake' row Q&A Reaction to 'gay cake' appeal ruling Analysis: Ruling was 'surprisingly straightforward' The firm argued that the cake's message was against the bakers' religious views. Reacting to the ruling, Daniel McArthur from Ashers said he was "extremely disappointed" adding that it undermined ...

UK: Homosexual marriage and homosexual conviction apologies - not enough for LGBT

Image
HOMOSEXUAL ADVOCATES IN THIS ARTICLE STATE  GAY MARRIAGE AND APOLOGIES ARE NOT ENOUGH Gay advocates have now moved beyond gay marriage to schools, the government and now want more changes. The Government's plan to posthumously pardon gay and bisexual men convicted of now-abolished sexual offences in England and Wales is a cosmetic measure which means very little to gay men today. The 1967 Sexual Offences Act finally decriminalised private homosexual acts between men aged over 21 in England and Wales, although the law wasn’t changed in Scotland until 1980, or in Northern Ireland until 1982. The age of consent was only equalised in 1998. Of the 65,000 men convicted under the laws, 15,000 are still alive . SNP MP Jon Nicholson's private member's bill, "talked out" in Parliament on Friday afternoon, would have meant an automatic pardon being granted to them too. That’s all well and good as a symbolic gesture. But we continue to live in a society that ...

Another cake maker faces thousands in fines for refusing to bake gay ‘marriage’ cake—in Northern Ireland

Image
Once again a Christian baker is threatened with paying thousands of dollars in fines for refusing to bake a cake stating its support for same-sex “marriage” – this time in Northern Ireland . The Equality Commission of Northern Ireland has ordered a Christian bakery to pay compensation to a homosexual activist or face legal action for having refused to make a cake with the phrase “support gay marriage.” Colin and Karen McArthur, a Christian couple who run seven shops around Northern Ireland, own Ashers Baking Company. The name of their cake shops is taken from the Bible: Asher is one of the tribes of Israel known for its skilled bakers. Earlier this year Ashers bakery in Newtonabbey was approached by Gareth Lee of the homosexual advocacy group QueerSpace to make a cake for an event in observance of the " International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia ." Lee asked for a cake decorated with the slogan “support gay marriage,” along with the QueerSpace logo and...
