Pushing gender ideology on kids is child abuse: pediatricians group

Image
“Facts – not ideology – determine reality,” the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) said in a warning to legislators and educators about the dangers of surgical and medical sex change operations to children. “Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse,” the physicians said, “Rates of suicide are twenty times greater among adults who use cross-sex hormones and undergo sex reassignment surgery, even in Sweden which is among the most LGBTQ – affirming countries.” The group, which aims at getting parents involved in their children’s health and education about health, said,  “Gender (an awareness and sense of oneself as male or female) is a sociological and psychological concept; not an objective biological one,” and that, “A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.” To the contrary, the group maintain...

Nickelodeon with its first ‘gay married’ couple in kids cartoon

Image
Nickelodeon, the American cable and satellite TV network aimed at kids and teens, has introduced its first animated “immoral homosexual married” couple. Debuting in The Loud House — a cartoon about Lincoln Loud, an 11-year-old boy with 10 sisters — the scene features a friend coming for a stayover with Lincoln. Lincoln and his chum, Clyde McBride, have been counting down the time to the sleepover, so perhaps that’s why Lincoln announces: “Time to make history!” — before he opens the door to reveal Clyde and his two dads. A review in PinkNews praises the episode for depicting the two men as fussy and overprotective, coming with a humidifier, white-noise machine and myriad emergency numbers — thus masterfully deflecting attention from their homosexual relationship. Owned by Viacom Media Network, Nickelodeon targets children ages 2 to 17. It has already introduced a lesbian couple in the 2014 online finale of The Legend of Korra. But Nickelodeon’s allegedly historic immoral moment is ...

LGBT activists say Orlando shooting should be used to promote their political agenda

Image
The world paused to mourn   the terrorist attack in Orlando   this week, but some LGBT activists are complaining that politicians have used the tragedy to promote the wrong political agenda. LGBT leaders say the mass shooting at the gay nightclub, which killed 49 people, should have been used to pressure communities to add LGBT people to civil rights legislation – a proposal that, for instance, would require public accommodations to allow members of one biological sex to use the intimate facilities of the opposite sex. Following the weekend tragedy, Donald Trump gave a major speech on Monday about his proposal to temporarily halt all Muslim immigration into the United States. President Obama and Democrats have highlighted tighter gun control measures. Congressman Jim Himes, D-CT, refused to take part in a Congressional moment of silence to honor the victims of the shooting, instead saying lawmakers needed to pass legislation to curb "gun violence." But so far, the...

Florida school board unanimously rejects homosexual, transgender concessions

Image
The Brevard County School Board unanimously rejected a proposed pro-homosexual and pro-transgender addition to their non-discrimination policy Tuesday night. Nearly 100 people signed up to speak about the proposed ordinance change, with over 90 of them against adding "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the school's nondiscrimination ordinance. Speeches ranged from expressing concerns that a pro-transgender, pro-homosexual policy would threaten privacy and confuse children to calls for God back in public schools.  Terry Rocks of The Brevard Youth Network said, "There is a spiritual force here, and it is evil." Opponents also said the proposed LGBTQ addition would brand Christians as bigots and subject them to discipline for "discrimination." Melbourne parent Jason Schack threatened that he and others would leave the public schools if they adopt a pro-transgender, pro-homosexual policy. "I just hope your school...
