There is No Justification for a Conservative Senator to Sign the ‘Respect for Marriage Act’

Image
Why would 12 Republican senators vote in favor of a bill which “provides statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages”? How could almost 25% of all Republican senators agree to back this? The issue, of course, is not their backing of interracial marriages. No major leader with any credibility or respected platform is saying such marriages should not be recognized by law. In fact, it is misleading even to put interracial marriages, which contain the fundamental building blocks of marriage and family, namely a man and a woman, in the same category as same-sex “marriages,” which by definition omit either the man or the woman. Rejection of interracial marriages is a matter of bigotry, not biology. The issue is these Republican leaders offering their names in support of these same-sex unions. What could possibly motivate them? Accepting Obergefell and Thinking This Bill Protects Religious Liberties  In the words of Sen. Mitt Romney, one of the aforementioned 12 and himself...

ABC reporter blame Pastors for Homosexual mental health

Image
Once again, ABC Australia is blaming the church, but more precisely pastors for homosexual poor mental health. As usual the ABC spends time interviewing one Church leader who is bisexual from the Uniting church then another 'progressive' Baptist Pastor who disregards historical biblical interpretation on the sin of homosexuality and personally reinterprets homosexuality as a blessing of God .  The problem with the article written by Sarah Malik is that it shows little understanding of the scriptures, ignores the presence of a Godly conscience, misunderstands the power of sin even the existence of sin, the blindness of sin, the rebellion against God word and lastly the abandonment by God for homosexual behavior as outlined in Romans 1.  All of these actions, are identical to any person who sins intentionally or unintentionally against the will of God. The searing of the conscience comes first, the the withdrawal of God's restraint until God abandons them. This ...

NY Gov. Cuomo to outlaw transgender ‘discrimination’ by executive fiat

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he will create statewide regulations "protecting" transgender people . "The fair, legal interpretation and definition of a person's sex includes gender [self-] identity," Cuomo said at a fundraiser in Manhattan.  At the Empire State Pride Agenda fundraiser on Thursday, Cuomo said his newly imposed law will be enacted by executive order within a week. The sweeping new transgender rule will force compliance in the workplace, in the housing industry, and in public services and facilities. It will impact public and private retail stores, hospitals, education and recreation facilities, rental establishments, and other businesses. Cuomo will be the first governor to compel...

Kevin Donnelly argues against same sex marriage from

Tony Abbott was right to argue in favour of traditional marriage after his party room vote. There are good reasons why people oppose same-sex marriage and the cultural left should understand that, writes Kevin Donnelly. In last night's speech after the majority of Liberal/National MPs voted in favour of the current policy on same-sex marriage, Prime Minister Tony Abbott was right to argue that marriage should be between a man and a woman and that the Australian people should decide if there is to be a change. Those wanting to introduce a private member's bill to change the definition of marriage, such as Liberal MP Warren Entsch , must now realise that the matter is settled until the people decide. This is especially the case as many of the arguments in favour of same-sex marriage are flawed. Those wanting change argue that defining marriage as involving a man and a woman discriminates against lesbians and homosexuals. Ignored is that there are many examples where society...

Church of Scotland majority wants to allow ministers in same-sex unions - ignore the Bible

Image
The majority of the Church of Scotland ’s presbyteries have voted to allow local congregations to appoint ministers in same-sex civil partnerships. The measure is likely to be brought to the Kirk’s General Assembly in May for final approval. The denomination’s 46 presbyteries voted 32 to 14 in favor of the measure, with the Kirk revealing the results on the same day that the new law legalizing same-sex "marriage" in Scotland came into effect. The General Assembly instituted a two-year moratorium in 2009 on homosexual issues within the Kirk. In 2011 the moratorium was lifted and a theological commission was created to consider the ordination of openly and actively homosexual clergy, the blessing of same-sex unions, and to allow homosexual ministers and deacons ordained before May 2009 to be given pastoral responsibilities. The 2009 moratorium came after a firestorm of controversy leading up to the General Assembly’s decision to approve the appointment of openly ...

Polls: Homosexual Marriage support is dropping

Image
As you know, our opponents in Washington State have had a monopoly on the airwaves for months, trying to mislead voters into supporting same-sex marriage. A little over a week ago we began airing our ads (see them here ), informing voters about the real consequences of redefining marriage and explaining why they should Reject Referendum-74 ( gay marriage ). Yesterday a new Elway poll showed gay marriage has dropped in Washington State from a 14 point lead a few months ago to a 4 point race today (49%-45%), within the margin of error ...meaning the race is a statistical tie! This is amazing news and it shows that our ads and message are working! Even more amazing, the Elway poll wrote: "Opposition to Referendum 74 has grown over the past month while support has stayed at virtually the same level since July." Did you catch that? Support for same-sex marriage has flat-lined at just under the critical 50% threshold despite their massive spending and advertising advantage for...

Politicans who support Homosexual Marriage got voted out!

Image
English: New York Mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Last Thursday , the voters in New York State finally got a chance to have their say. As I told you in last week's letter, the primaries recently held in New York are incredibly important to the future of marriage. Powerful donors tried—and are still trying—to remake the Republican Party in their own image: namely, as pro- gay marriage supporters. Getting New York Republicans to bring up and pass a gay marriage bill was the first step in that plan. The four Republicans who voted for gay marriage were hailed as heroes and showered with accolades—and massive quantities of cold hard cash. They were supposed to sail to victory, thus disproving the "myth" that voters care about marriage. But on Thursday, the voters got their turn, and to the shock and surprise of the pundits and establishment hacks, they tossed out long-term incumbents in both parties who had betrayed their constituents...
