Boston sued for refusing to fly Christian flag at city hall despite flying LGBT flag

Image
A 59-year-old Boston man is challenging the city’s refusal to fly a Christian flag over city hall to recognize Christianity’s historical contributions to both Boston and the state of Massachusetts, the Boston Globe reports . Camp Constitution is a charitable trust dedicated to promoting “understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity, including the genius of our United States Constitution, and the application of free enterprise” through a variety of discussions, activities, and events. Last year its director, Harold Shurtleff, wanted to fly a Christian flag with a red cross on a blue background, with white on three sides, at the city hall to commemorate “the civic and social contributions of the Christian community to the City, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, religious tolerance, the Rule of Law, and the US Constitution.” But the city denied him a permit on the grounds that it “maintains a policy and practice of respectfull...

Gay Aussie couple sue printer for sending religious pamphlets instead of wedding programs

Image
Australian homosexual couple  were excited to see the homosexual wedding programs they ordered for their immoral  gay wedding . But when the package arrived, the gay couple also found Christian pamphlets with messages about homosexual temptation and gay sin.  The immoral sinful unbalanced homosexual couple are so upset that a Christian would insert biblical truth into the box that they are taking a federal lawsuit against printing company Vistaprint - to teach people a lesson! The lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday in Massachusetts , accuses Vistaprint of attacking, abusing, vilifying the couple because they're gay by replacing their wedding program order with the biblical truth about homosexuality - which they conveniently call - "hateful and discriminatory."   WHY ARE HOMOSEXUALS EASILY HURT AND OFFENDED AND SELF-RIGHTEOUS? The two homosexual men have a unrighteous immoral agenda.  "Their goal is to hold Vistaprint accountable fo...

USA - National teachers’ union wants to kick ex-homosexual educators out of convention

Image
Welcome to America, the land of the free — unless you belong to the National Education Association , the nation’s largest union. This increasingly radical arm of far-left politics always has its national meeting over Fourth of July week and guess what is on the table at its meeting right now in Boston ? They are proposing to expel the exhibitors of the NEA Ex-Gay Educators’ Caucus.  All in the name of tolerance and diversity, of course. Here’s the resolution, published this morning in the convention agenda: "Be it moved that the NEA implement its own rules and regulations on ‘Becoming an Exhibitor’ to NEA caucuses AND IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE EXHIBIT ENTITLED ‘NEA EX-GAY EDUCATORS’ from the exhibit hall on the grounds that this exhibit violates existing NEA exhibitor standards. These standards state that Exhibitors may not distribute materials that are offensive, distracting, or discriminatory." Leaving homosexuality is “discriminatory?” Only among those af...

New Massachusetts law may force churches to let ‘transgender’ men use women’s restrooms

Image
Churches could be affected in the state of Massachusetts by a new law that forces transgender acceptance on all citizens. The state law, passed by the Massachusetts legislature in June, adds "gender identity" to anti-discrimination laws, equating self-chosen sexual preference with immutable characteristics such as race and biology. In July, Governor Charlie Baker, a Republican, betrayed a campaign promise and signed the bill into law. The new transgender-affirming law is to take effect on October 1. The Massachusetts Commission Against Defamation (MCAD), which will enforce the new law, issued a "Gender Identity Guidance" directive on September 1 to explain the law in practical terms.  The directive raises grave concerns among Christians that the government is forcing churches to facilitate homosexual and transgender ideology against their religious freedoms. The MCAD directive lists compliance requirements for employers, landlords, credit and mortgag...

Embracing homosexuality is America’s future, Obama says in State of the Union

Image
President Obama hailed gay "marriage" as one of his proudest accomplishments and looked forward to the day when Americans would shed traditional sexual morality to embrace homosexuals in his final State of the Union address last night. The president told a combined chamber of Congress , Cabinet members, and most of the Supreme Court that upholding our "unique strengths as a nation" and heeding the "spirit of progress" made our national celebration of sexual minorities possible. "That's how we secured the freedom in every state to marry the person you love," Obama said early in his rather short national address. The reference to a highly contested, 5-4 Supreme Court decision infuriated pro-family advocates. "The Republican leadership ought to set aside an empty chair in the front of the chamber to represent the more than 50 million Americans whose votes in support of traditional marriage were stolen by...an anti-constitut...

Will same sex non biological kids go looking for their real biological parent?

Image
th the Supreme Court's marriage decision in Obergefell vs. Hodges, one might think that equality for gay families has arrived. But that would be a mistake. The court's ruling could work to produce new conflicts and intensify old ones. The danger arises because marriage equality doesn't immediately or necessarily erase cultural and legal attachments to biological, dual-gender parenting. Consider the position of David Blankenhorn , head of the Institute for American Values and star witness in favor of Proposition 8 when California's gay-marriage ban went on trial in 2010. Back then, Blankenhorn justified such bans based on "[t]he need … to make it as likely as we can, that the biological parents are also the social and legal parents." In 2012, Blankenhorn announced a change of heart on same-sex marriage, but he still hoped "both gays and straight[s]" could agree that "children born through artificial reproductive technology [have] the rig...

Burning at the stake. An illustration from an mid 19th century book. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) If you hear the words “ witch hunt ,” what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Well, you might think of the Salem witch trials , when mass hysteria gripped colonial Massachusetts in the late seventeenth century and twenty people—most of them women—were executed on charges of being witches. Another five died in prison. But the era of the witch hunt is far from over. According to Merriam-Webster, a witch hunt is “the act of unfairly looking for and punishing people who are accused of having opinions that are believed to be dangerous or evil.” And of course, at the top of the dangerous and evil opinion list these days is believing what the Bible says about human sexuality and marriage. While public shaming and fines against Christian business people and academics have become so commonplace as to be almost non-newsworthy, I  do  want to share with you a particularly egreg...

Judges order Arizona and Indiana to recognize gay ‘marriages’ on death certificates

Image
U.S. Supreme Court building. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Two federal judges have ordered Arizona and Indiana to recognize same-sex “ marriages ” on death certificates, although both states have laws defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman. In Arizona, Judge John Sedwick   ordered  the state to issue a death certificate for George Martinez listing his marital status as “married” and his spouse as Fred McQuire.  The two were “married” in California in July, and Martinez died in September.  They had previously sued Arizona to recognize their out-of-state “marriage” as legal – a case that is still ongoing. In his decision, Sedwick said that the majority of federal appeals courts have found that “marriage laws which discriminate between heterosexual couples and homosexual couples infringe a fundamental right.”  He said he thought it was likely that Arizona’s marriage protection law will soon be overturned.  Sedwick’s decision ...

Conference unveils strategies to use students to promote gay agenda in public schools

Image
BOSTON, MA ,  – A pro-marriage group is reporting that Gay, Straight & Lesbian Education Network (GSLEN) Massachusetts has revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the homosexual agenda 's strategy about how to further promote its agenda in the state's public schools. An April 5 GSLEN conference highlighted that one of the keys to affecting young people is having students participate in pro-gay activism, such as taking part in a local " Day of Silence " or campus LGBT groups. Conversely, these same encouraging students are encouraged to target and intimidate those who disagree with homosexual relationships . "The students are seen as the  vanguard  within the schools," MassResistance reports . One seminar was entitled "Starting a Middle School GSA [Gay Students Association]: A Sustainable, Grassroots Approach" consisted of "practical advice and encouragement for students, staff, parents and community members who would like to ...

The next marriage redefinition? Massachusetts lesbian ‘throuple’ expecting their first child (Video)

Image
BOSTON, MA, April 24, 2014  – Three “married” lesbians in Massachusetts have announced they are expecting the first of several children intended for their polygamous union. But marriage advocates say the story confirms their warnings about the slippery slope created by redefining marriage and granting legal privileges based on a self-identified characteristic like sexual orientation. The three women – Doll, 30; Brynn, 32; and Kitten, 27 – are not legally married to all the members of the polyamorous coupling, something not permitted under state or federal law. Brynn and Doll have been together since 2009. However, it is Brynn and Kitten who were legally “married” in a ceremony last August; Doll was “handfasted” to both. “We had specialist lawyers draw up paperwork so our assets are equally divided,” Brynn said. They consider themselves a  “throuple.”  Brynn said, “I like to think of us as a romantic committee.” The idea for the ceremony, culminated when each...
