Ontario Catholic school board to vote on flying gay ‘pride flag’ at all board-run schools

Image
A Catholic school board in Ontario will vote next week on a motion to fly the rainbow-colored homosexual pride flag at all board-run schools during the month of June. Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) Trustee Brenda Agnew gave notice of her motion titled “supporting our diverse school community” during an April 6 board meeting. Quoting Pope Francis along with LGBT talking points about “equity and inclusion,” the motion calls for the Board’s Director of Education Pat Daly to “direct all HCDSB schools including the Catholic Education Centre to fly the Pride flag during the month of June starting with 2021.” The motion is expected to be voted on by the Board at their next meeting on April 20. With nine trustees, the motion requires five votes to pass. A tied vote results in a fail. The HCDSB states on its website that its mission is to provide “excellence in Catholic education by developing Christ-centred individuals enabled to transform society.” The Catholic Church, basing i...

African president publicly rebukes Justin Trudeau for pushing ‘gay pride’ parades in Senegal

Image
The president of Senegal rebuffed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s attempts to discuss decriminalizing homosexuality and promoting “gay pride” parades in the predominately Muslim West African country. And President Macky Sall’s defense of his country’s culture and laws made front-page news in the Francophone country’s capital city of Dakar. CTV correspondent Glen McGregor tweeted a photo of Le Soleil’s headline trumpeting Sall’s rebuke to Trudeau: “Our society does not accept homosexuality.” Canada’s Liberal prime minister told reporters at a Wednesday press conference that he had to raise the subject of Senegal’s criminalization of homosexuality with Sall because he was a “great defender of human rights,” according to Associated Press (AP). For his part, the Senegalese president said his country respected human rights, but that “we’re comfortable with our laws,” and he stressed there would be no change in legislation on homosexuality, AP reported.  “It is our way ...

Anglican Church of Canada’s says NO to fake homosexual Marriage

Image
According to the rules of the ACC, new measures must be approved by a two-thirds majority from three groups of delegates to the synod: laity, clergy, and bishops. While the laity were largely for the new measure which would have removed language from its canon referring to marriage as being between a man and woman, the bishops did not reach a two-thirds vote in favor of the change.

Trudeau govt. orders Canada post to cease delivering publication lacking ‘diversity’

Image
Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has ordered Canada Post to cease delivering a controversial publication that the government has deemed to be inconsistent with its “values and stance on inclusiveness and diversity.” “After having carefully considered the recommendations of the independent board of review, I have decided to issue a final prohibitory order that will prevent the delivery of the publication Your Ward News, or any substantially similar material developed by its authors, through Canada Post’s unaddressed bulk mail," said Carla Qualtrough, the minister responsible for Canada Post Corporation, in a Nov. 15 statement . “My decision is consistent with the applicable legislation and the government’s values and stance on inclusiveness and diversity," she added. The minister based her decision on a Board of Review report which makes the case that Your Ward News has regularly published anti-Semitic, neo-Nazi material and so is tantamount to “hate propaganda.” Billiona...

House Republicans object to LGBT provisions of new NAFTA trade deal

Image
Among the accomplishments President Donald Trump is most proud of is renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. But a group of GOP lawmakers voiced concerns over the ramifications of language about LGBT “discrimination.” At issue is Chapter 23 of the deal, under which all three countries agree to “implement policies that protect workers against employment discrimination on the basis of,” among other things, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” “We recognize your tireless efforts to protect the American worker and the American economy,” 38 Republican members of Congress wrote in a November 16 letter to the president. “We are, however, deeply concerned by the unprecedented inclusion” of “sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) language for the first time in a Free Trade Agreement.” “A trade agreement is no place for the adoption of social policy,” the signatories declared, warning that the elevating SOGI cl...

Justin Trudeau: homosexuality is no longer about ‘tolerance,’ but ‘acceptance’

Image
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at a press conference prior to Montreal’s Pride parade earlier this month that it's not enough to just be tolerant of homosexuality, Canadians must now “accept” homosexuality. "Can we stop talking about tolerance?" said the LGBT activist Canadian prime minister, wearing a pink shirt. "We need to talk about acceptance." The prime minister did not respond to questions asking him to clarify his statement and what it might mean to the millions of Canadians whose religions teach that homosexuality is contrary to God’s plan for sexuality. Instead, Eleanore Catenaro, the press secretary for the Prime Minister's Office responded with a short e-mailed comment: "The prime minister and our government are committed to advancing equality, and will always stand up for the rights of the LGBTQ2 community and all Canadians." At Campaign Life Coalition, though, senior political analyst Jack Fonseca said the prime minister's no...

Panel slams Bill c-16 Trudeau’s ‘gender identity’ law as ‘false and unscientific’ on its 1st anniversary

Image
Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government opened the door to “state-sponsored child abuse” by enshrining the “false and unscientific” gender ideology into law in Bill C-16. That message came loud and clear from panelists who blasted the bill on its first anniversary, and gender theory in general, at a discussion in Toronto July 18 . “Let me get this out of the way: gender is binary and not a social construct,” sex neuroscientist Dr. Debra Soh told the crowd of 725 at Canada’s Christian College to a burst of applause. “Children should not be used as pawns to further this agenda.” Journalist Barbara Kay, lawyer Jared Brown, free speech advocate Lindsay Shepherd and organizer Sarina Singh likewise decried Bill C-16, which added “gender identity and expression” to Canada’s Human Rights Code and it's Criminal Code hate crime section. The Liberals passed the law last June over warnings from now famous Toronto psychologist Jordan Peterson it would lead to compelled speech. One year later, g...

Canadian gov’t agency bans ‘mother’ and ‘father’ to be more gender inclusive

Image
SO GAY MARRIAGE WON'T AFFECT YOU CANADA? THINK AGAIN! Canadian Government employees tasked with connecting citizens to government services can no longer refer to those citizens as “sir,” “madam,” or any other gender-specific term while doing so, according to a new report. Service Canada ’s front-line staff must “use gender-neutral language or gender-inclusive language ” to avoid “portraying a perceived bias toward a particular sex or gender,” out of respect for the country’s “diverse” population. CBC News  reports  that its French-language arm Radio Canada has  obtained  documents detailing the new guidelines. The forbidden terms include “mother,” “father,” “sir,” “madam,” “Mr.,” “Mrs.,” and “Miss.” Instead, workers are directed to call people “parents,” use their full names, and ask them how they wish to be addressed. They are further warned that an In-Person Quality Monitoring Program will watch them for compliance with the new rules. The documen...

Parents outraged as teachers union hosts LGBT activist who defends public sex acts

Image
Alberta ’s teachers’ union has come under fire from parents for hosting a keynote address by an LGBT activist who frequently posts sexually explicit material on social media. The Alberta Teachers’ Association defended its decision to host pro-LGBT activist Dr. Kristopher Wells for an address on February 22 to the Palliser District Teachers’ Convention. Wells is the Faculty Director for the University of Alberta’s Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services, and his  university bio  credits him for creating a variety of initiatives for gay students, as well as advisory roles with the Canadian Senate, Canadian Teachers' Federation , Alberta Teachers' Association, Public Health Agency of Canada , and various local governments, through which he holds considerable influence in shaping LGBT-related policies. On February 20, the Alberta-based Parents for Choice in Education (PCE)  wrote a letter  to Alberta Teachers Association president Greg Jeffre...

Our daughter could have died if school hid participation in LGBT club

Image
Finally an Albertan newspaper is highlighting the dangers of Bill 24 rather than simply dancing to the tune played by Rachel Notley and the NDP. The  Calgary Herald , in an article titled “ Couple warns their daughter could have died under new GSA law ,” revealed why it is so insidious to use legislation to drive a wedge between children and their parents: The parents of a southern Alberta autistic girl are warning other parents that had Bill 24 been the law over the past two years, their 14-year-old daughter very likely could have committed suicide. The parents, who have asked that their names be changed and their identities hidden to protect their daughter’s privacy, are pleading with Rachel Notley’s NDP government to “not shut parents out of their children’s lives” and “to bring some nuance” into Bill 24, which became law in Alberta on Nov. 15. Two things to notice here: First, the parents are not simply trying to protect their daughter. They are also pro...

Ottawa city hall bans pro-life and ‘religious’ flags, allows LGBT flag

Image
After angry backlash when a pro-life flag was raised for the first time at Ottawa ’s city hall during the March for Life in May, Canada ’s capital is changing its flag-raising policy. The new protocol bans any raising of flags at city hall from organizations whose “undertakings or philosophy” are “politically or religiously motivated or represent other individual conviction.” The consequence is that flags of any pro-life association from flying will be banished from a municipal flagpoles, says Johanne Brownrigg, Ottawa lobbyist with Campaign Life Coalition . “This has been cleverly written to appear to be a serious and practical guidelines. It actually has the effect of writing us out,” she told LifeSiteNews. The flag proclaiming “National March for Life Ottawa” was raised May 11 at the request of Francis Barrett . The 89-year-old father, grandfather, and former police officer told LifeSiteNews at the time he worked with city staff to arrange the event. But after Lif...
