Homosexual activists excited by softer tone of U.S. cardinals

ROME, April 4, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Experts say, despite an apparently softer tone on homosexuals from two leading American cardinals, the Roman Catholic Church will not and cannot shift its moral teaching on same-sex "marriage" or the grave sin of homosexual acts . Pro-homosexuality Catholic group condemned

Image via Wikipedia The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) warned Catholics this week against the self-identified “Catholic” group New Ways Ministry ’s position on homosexuality. In a statement from the USCCB, Cardinal Donald Wuerl , Archbishop of Washington and chairman of the Committee on Doctrine, condemned the group’s newly published booklet entitled “ Marriage Equality : A Positive Catholic Approach,” written by the group’s executive director Francis DeBernardo. “In no manner is the position proposed by New Ways Ministry in conformity with Catholic teaching, and in no manner is this organization authorized to speak on behalf of the Catholic Church or to identify itself as a Catholic organization,” wrote Wuerl.
