Ballarat Christian college settles teacher with LGBT agenda

Image
Ballarat Christian College in southeast Australia can now retain its Statement of Faith defining marriage as a union between a man and woman as a result of a settlement it reached with a former pro-same-sex marriage teacher. The teacher, an American LGBT advocate did not disclose her liberal Biblical views to the school when applying for her teaching position. She persisted in violating the school ethical code and the school's biblical code until she was sacked. Then violating scripture she took the school to Court.  Her pretension was exposed but because there are no religious freedom laws, it is the school that pays the penalty for such non-biblical behaviour.  The school has now been manipulated by an LGBT advocate claiming she has the Christian faith. As part of the settlement, the Christian college in Victoria will pay an undisclosed amount as payout and give a positive employment reference to Rachel Colvin, who filed the lawsuit backed by LGBT rights group Equalit...

Homosexuality and God's moral law

Image
One of the most popular arguments for the existence of God is the moral argument.  It states that God alone makes sense of objective moral values , and since objective moral values exist, then God exists.  A large number of people today, including atheists and agnostics, believe in objective moral values.  However, they do not agree with the Christian answer to provide a basis for those values. Sometimes looking at what can be considered the Christian answer, I don’t agree with it either. For instance, if someone says, “Murder is wrong because the Bible says so,” I disagree. To see what I am saying, consider if I stated this: “ Jesus was crucified because the Bible says so.” Is the Bible saying so the cause of Jesus being crucified, or was Jesus’ crucifixion the reason the Bible says he was crucified? Just as the Bible writers wrote about objective history that happened before their record of it, so they wrote about objective morality that was known before ...

Pro-homosexual Fr. James Martin: Traditionalists can’t ‘listen’ like Jesus to gay activists

Image
CNN International host Christiane Amanpour – whose show is simulcast now on PBS stations – lit into "homophobia" in the Catholic Church and all " Abrahamic faiths " in her Tuesday show. Her guest was Father James Martin, a controversial figure whose  book is touted  for showing "how the Rosary and the rainbow flag can peacefully meet one another." First, Amanpour and Fr. Martin discussed how Pope Francis is being attacked for being weak on clerical sex abuse – an odd topic considering Amanpour is airing on PBS due to Charlie Rose's "crusty paw" sex abuses. Then she turned to the "massive tsunami" of traditionalists raging against the "compassionate."  AMANPOUR: So, let's turn to your personal situation because you yourself have come across and come really almost to blows, verbally anyway, with the traditionalists in the church. You've written this book, Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Churc...

Congressional Portrait, Congressman Barney Frank (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Former congressman Barney Frank says "increasingly" Australia's stance on same-sex rights was "behind much of the developed world" A US politician has bullied his own worldview on Australia's stance on homosexual so called rights as "increasingly" behind the rest of the developed world as Sydney prepares to celebrate the gay and lesbian Mardis Gras on Saturday. But who cares what this former congressman believes? What right does he have to speak to Australia? Except the Aussie ABC was quite happy to quote the man to support their ongoing campaign for promoting homosexual marriage . Barney Frank, who was a US congressman for 30 years and is a long-time campaigner for the immoral homosexual agenda, also described Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull 's support for a plebiscite on same-sex marriage as laughable. More than 20 countries allow immoral homosexual, includin...
