Catholic priest denies Communion to local ‘married’ homosexual judge

Image
A Catholic priest in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, has reportedly denied Holy Communion to a county judge because of her having contracted a so-called “marriage” with another woman. According to a report on the website Wood TV, Father Scott Nolan of St. Stephen Catholic Church recently contacted Judge Sara Smolenski by telephone to inform her that because of her “marriage” she could not receive Communion. Smolenski claims: “The way he said it was ‘because you’re married to Linda in the state of Michigan, you cannot accept [C]ommunion,’ that’s how he said it.” Michigan Catholic priest denies Communion to local ‘married’ homosexual judge    Bishop David Walkowiak, Bishop Walkowiak, Canon 915, Catholic, Fr. Judge rules in favor of adoption agency’s right not to adopt to gay couples, says lesbian AG ‘targeted’ them

Image
A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction allowing a Catholic adoption agency to continue operating according to its religious beliefs. His decision came just four days before the agency’s contract with the state was set to expire. District Judge Robert Jonker ruled in favor of St. Vincent Catholic Charities and against Michigan’s lesbian Attorney General, Dana Nessel, who before taking office in January had pledged to terminate state contracts with religious foster and adoption agencies that refused to place children in homes with same-sex couples.  In his ruling, Jonker said that Nessel had “targeted” the Catholic agency and that Nessel “is at the very heart of the case,” have accused proponents of religious exemptions from LGBT household placements as “discriminatory” and “‘hate mongers’ who disliked gay people more than they cared about children.” “The State’s real goal is not to promote non-discriminatory child placements, but to stamp out St. Vincent’s reli...

Lesbian attorney general may have just ended Christian adoption services in Michigan

Image
Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel has announced that taxpayer-funded adoption agencies with religious objections to placing children in homes of homosexual “married” couples will no longer be able to cite their faith as a legitimate reason to opt out of providing that service. The move has the effect of forcing religious adoption agencies to violate their consciences if they want state money. In a statement released Friday, Nessel, a liberal Democrat and a lesbian, declared that “discrimination in the provision of foster care case management and adoption services is illegal, no matter the rationale.” Nessel’s unilateral decision, which will likely bring to an end Christian adoption services in Michigan, serves as the settlement reached between the State of Michigan and the American Civil Liberties Union, which sued the state in 2017 on behalf of a lesbian couple who wanted to adopt but were turned away from St. Vincent Catholic Charities and Bethany Christian Services , two of...

Michigan’s lesbian AG investigating Catholic media org as part of ‘hate group’ crackdown

Image
Michigan’s lesbian attorney general and the state’s Department of Civil Rights director are investigating organizations the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has deemed “hate groups.” One such group in their state is Catholic news service Church Militant, which reports on clerical sexual misdeeds and advocates adherence to the teachings of the Catholic Church. The SPLC has labeled Church Militant “anti-LGBT.” The law center lumps pro-life , pro-marriage, and Christian organizations in with neo-Nazis and the KKK as “hate groups.” Its “ hate map ” inspired a man to attempt a shooting rampage at the Family Research Council’s headquarters in 2012, the first incident of armed domestic terrorism in Washington, D.C. Attorney General Dana Nessel and Department of Civil Rights Director Agustin V. Arbulu say they are responding to the SPLC’s annual “hate map” report . They claim that the SPLC has documented an increase of “active extremist and hate organizations in Michigan.” Accor...

Police: Trans activist staged hate crime, burned down her own home

Image
Based on the recent headlines, it would appear that the demand for bigots of various stripes vastly outstrips the supply. The Covington Catholic High School boys were portrayed as an ugly mob threatening and mocking a Native American Vietnam veteran before it turned out that they hadn’t been threatening, hadn’t been a mob, and the Native American hadn’t been a Vietnam veteran. The media retracted the story after the high school boys were subjected to death threats, doxing, and worse, and now one of the boys is suing the Washington Post for $250 million. Then there was Jussie Smollett, the celebrity victim of a homophobic race crime who sobbed on TV as he recounted the story of being assaulted by masked men in MAGA hats who spouted Trump slogans, put a noose around his neck, and poured bleach on him. The LGBT community rallied around him, great lamentations went up from the media and fellow celebrities, and then the story promptly fell apart. As it turns out, Smollett had hired two Nig...

Ford contractor claims he was fired for dissenting comment on company’s trans embrace

Image
A man who worked as a contractor at a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan claims he was fired last fall solely for a respectful comment challenging transgender ideology on a social media post celebrating another employee’s “gender transition.” In October, Michigan pro-LGBT media outlet PrideSource published a profile on Lynn Keiser, a homosexual male research engineer at Ford attesting to the company’s wholehearted support for his “transition” to female. “While looking at Ford I was thinking about whether I could transition, and I found they scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index,” Keiser said, going on to explain how his supervisor “didn’t bat an eye” and his human resources manager was “equally supportive.” This week, another man who worked as a contractor at Ford’s Automatic Transmission Operations building in Livonia, Michigan, told PJ Media that he lost his job as a direct result of commenting on an internal company post celebrating Keis...

Pastor attacked by LGBT community

Image
An uproar over a sound Bible helping program at a Downriver church in Michigan has the pastor pushing back on the LGBT death threats . It all started weeks ago when Metro City Church announced a workshop for teen girls struggling with “thoughts that are trans - bi - gay or other.” The pastor of the church says the program is not conversion therapy , it's a conversation, not condemnation and there is no dragging or bible beatings, no casting out demons....just talking. But the LGBT zealots do not tolerate anybody questioning the lifestyle choices and have responded with threats of physical harm to burn the church down and to kill the pastor. Love wins? Don't think so!  Jeremy Schossau says in his roughly two decades building metro city church, he hasn’t seen anything like the backlash to his “unashamed identity workshop.” “This unbelievable vitriol that has come at us from around the world,” Schossau says. “The hate the vulgarity the pornography that has fl...

Teenagers are placed in impossible situations because of gay paernts

Image
Lesbian couple holding hands, from behind (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Although relationships with friends are generally good, children raised in lesbian - or gay- parented families are known to worry about being teased, harassed or bullied , particularly by peers in the school environment.  Indications are that teenagers are more concerned about this than younger children. Fear of losing friends because of parental sexuality or being judged negatively by others have been reported in studies of the teenaged children of lesbian mothers ( Gartrell et al. , 2005; Lindsay et al., 2006; Ray & Gregory, 2001; Tasker & Golombok, 1997) and children are known to use selective disclosure strategies with regard to telling people about their parents' sexuality (Bozett, 1987 ; Lindsay et al., 2006; Ray & Gregory, 2001).  In Ray and Gregory's Australian study of children and young people raised in lesbian-parented families, primary school aged children reported more ...

Will same sex non biological kids go looking for their real biological parent?

Image
th the Supreme Court's marriage decision in Obergefell vs. Hodges, one might think that equality for gay families has arrived. But that would be a mistake. The court's ruling could work to produce new conflicts and intensify old ones. The danger arises because marriage equality doesn't immediately or necessarily erase cultural and legal attachments to biological, dual-gender parenting. Consider the position of David Blankenhorn , head of the Institute for American Values and star witness in favor of Proposition 8 when California's gay-marriage ban went on trial in 2010. Back then, Blankenhorn justified such bans based on "[t]he need … to make it as likely as we can, that the biological parents are also the social and legal parents." In 2012, Blankenhorn announced a change of heart on same-sex marriage, but he still hoped "both gays and straight[s]" could agree that "children born through artificial reproductive technology [have] the rig...

Homosexual orientation and behavior are forbidden by the Bible

Image
English: Lot and his daughters flee Sodom, as in Genesis 19:17, illustration from "Sunrays" published 1908 by the Providence Lithograph Company (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The witnesses of the Old Testament and ancient Jewish society have implications for a view of homosexual orientation and behavior that can be described as biblical: 1.      Homosexuality violates the creation order and patterns for male and female roles and for marriage (Genesis 1–2). It arises from the same internal rebellion as did the Fall recorded in Genesis 3 . 2.      Homosexual rape is the only sin described in the events surrounding the fall of Sodom as a special judgment of God ( Genesis 19 ).            3.      That homosexual rape was the sin of Sodom is the only interpretation that fits the larger literary context and structure of the narrative about the covenant God made with Abraham.          ...

How homosexualityhandles Romans 1

Image
Another approach views Romans 1 from the standpoint of the philosophy of moral argumentation. Pim Pronk concludes that Paul by his use of nature does not refer to the normative creation order but to the social conventions of his day, or to the biologically natural.17 This is consistent with the relationship of theology and morality. The reasoning of the “whole human community,” not revelation or theology, determines the proper human response to homosexuality or any other moral concern.  Theology cannot tell us what God’s will is for us. The exegesis of Romans 1 can affirm that homosexuality is sin in a given time and culture, but it cannot tell us whether this is normative and definitive for people today who read Paul’s statements. This issue is the concern of hermeneutics. Theology is not the epistemological source of the knowledge of good and evil; it exists only to affirm the idea that moral reasoning is God’s will. Moral education, critical thinking, and rational argumenta...
