Trump district court nominee calls same-sex ‘marriage’ an ‘assault on nature’

Image
President Trump is under fire from liberal and LGBT groups for nominating a man to the federal bench who has said same-sex marriage undermines the “very idea of marriage” and is part of an “assault on nature” that began with contraception. Gordon Giampietro, nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin , is currently an assistant general counsel of the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company , whose past statements in various forums have raised the ire of progressives and, in particular, the LGBT community.   “No one would disagree with the fact that children, all the social science research shows this, are best raised by a man and a woman,” Giampietro said in an interview on a  Catholic radio show . “This is natural, this is the truth, and it’s irrefutable. And so I think it has to be articulated in a way which isn’t dismissive of those troubled relationships, but it is reaffirming of the truth of marriage.” Giampietro also has w...

Trump admin reverses Obama policy: ‘Gender identity’ not a protected civil right

Image
In a reversal of federal policy that pleased marriage advocates and angered LGBTQI groups, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a memo interpreting the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as not intended to apply to transgenders . Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote to the country’s federal prosecutors that on “all pending and future matters” the DOJ will go by what Congress originally intended and not add unforeseen deviances when enforcing laws regarding equal treatment on the basis of “sex.” At issue is the word “sex.” A section of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 criminalized discrimination based on “sex.” Gay activists say that now includes sexual orientation and transgenderism. Strict originalists say the writers of the law clearly intended “sex” to mean male and female. Sessions defended his stand by saying it was a simple matter of the historical intent of legislators, and does not necessarily indicate a strategic change. The understanding is “a conclusion of law, not polic...

Boys must use boys toilets - Trump

Image
The man who pushes homosexuality onto the world - judged of God?  The Trump administration announced it will not defend the Obama administration 's transgender school bathrooms mandate. The Trump administration is not challenging an  injunction  preventing boys from accessing girls' intimate facilities and vice versa. The injunction temporarily blocked the Obama order from  taking place in schools across the country . U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor granted the injunction in August after 13 states sued to stop the mandate.  The Obama administration was challenging the injunction's nationwide application, arguing it should only be limited to the 13 suing states. The Obama edict threatened schools nationwide with the loss of federal funding if they didn't allow boys who say they are girls and vice versa to share bathrooms, showers, locker rooms, and hotel rooms on overnight school trips.  Family Research Council president Tony Perkins said ...

Christian businessman receives felony conviction for helping girl escape lesbian ‘mother’

Image
A Christian activist and entrepreneur who helped a child and her mother escape the United States to avoid joint custody with an unrelated lesbian was convicted Thursday by a federal jury of “conspiracy to commit offense” against the U.S. and aiding and abetting an “ international parental kidnapping .” Philip Zodhiates, 61, did not contest the allegation that in late 2009 he had driven Lisa Miller and her daughter Isabella to Buffalo, New York , where they crossed the border into Canada and then flew to Nicaragua , where they were sheltered by the country’s Mennonite community. However, his attorney argued that it was unproven that Zodhiates knew Lisa Miller’s motives for the trip. The two charges for which Zodhiates has been convicted could result in a sentence of up to eight years in prison and a $500,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 30. Mennonite Pastor Kenneth Miller, who is unrelated to Lisa and Isabella, is already serving a 27-month prison sent...

Muslim councilor who refused to do lesbian ‘wedding’ gets 5 months suspended prison sentence

Image
Sabrina Hout, a French city councilor from a Muslim background who refused to perform the marriage of a lesbian couple last year, has been given a five month suspended prison sentence together with hefty damages. The sentence has been greeted with enthusiasm in much of the media, the more so because it goes over and beyond   the public prosecutor’s demands : she had suggested just three months suspended prison and a fine of 1,500 euro. Sabrina Hout will have to pay a total of 2,400 euro (over 3,000 dollars) in damages to the two women she refused to “marry” and to several gay associations who supported their claim. When the lesbian couple approached Hout to be “married” in August 2014, she did not formally voice her opposition. Instead, she signed the register and the family record book for Claude and Hélène, the lesbian couple who were to “marry” in the town hall of the 8th sector of Marseille, where a large proportion of the population is of Islamic descent. She t...

Obama administration to supersede state rights by granting same-sex ‘marriage’ benefits nationwide

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , February 10, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Same-sex “marriage” advocates are one step closer to full federal recognition of their relationships after Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the Obama administration would provide benefits and services regardless of state laws about marriage. On Saturday, Holder said that the federal government would “strive to ensure that same-sex marriages receive the same privileges, protections and rights as opposite-sex marriages.” A Human Rights Campaign blog post  said  this “will mean that the federal government will treat married lesbian and gay couples the same as heterosexual couples when they do things like file for bankruptcy, testify in court or visit family in prison.” The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which was signed by President Clinton two decades ago, was overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) last year. The majority ruled in favor of state independence on the mat...

Obama, transgender toilet and homosexual agenda

Image
Pro-family leaders reacted with stunned disbelief this week to the news of a settlement in the case of a Southern California girl whose parents filed a federal civil rights complaint against their local school district after their daughter was not allowed to sleep in a hotel room full of boys during field trips, despite her belief that she is a boy trapped in a girl's body. After two years of investigation by the Obama administration's Department of Justice, the Arcadia Unified School District   agreed to a settlement  in which they admit no wrongdoing, but will allow the teenage girl, who is about to enter ninth grade, to use the facilities of her preferred sex rather than her biological one, as well as to participate in activities intended for boys only. Additionally, they will provide sensitivity training for their staff and faculty and add “gender identity” to the definition of “gender discrimination” in the district’s anti-discrimination policies. That means fro...

13-year-old says ‘gay porn’ led to repeated rape of 4-year-old

Image
CALGARY, Alberta , August 10, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A 13-year-old boy is awaiting sentencing in Calgary after pleading guilty to raping a four-year-old boy in his foster home . The teen, identified as T, told police after his arrest on Jan. 3rd that the idea for the assaults, which occurred over the course of a year, came from watching “gay porn” on his foster parents’ home computer. T’s assaults were discovered when he was caught in the midst of an attack by a neighbor who could see in the bedroom window from his office next door. The neighbour called 911, and when police arrived fifteen minutes later he pointed them to the window where the assault was still in progress. The neighbor said the light in the bedroom went out as soon as the police knocked on the front door. T answered and admitted to the assault. Judge Lynn Cook-Stanhope of Alberta’s Youth Court found T guilty in March. She was supposed to have heard sentencing arguments on July 23rd, but delayed ov...

QUEBEC, June 18, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – In what they are touting as a “world first,” a Quebec homosexual activist group has launched a “ registry of homophobic acts” with support and funding from the Quebec Government’s Justice Department .  Standing alongside Montreal Police Chief Johanne Paquin and Commander Alain Gagnon , the leadership of the group Gai Ecoute launched the anonymous tipster registry at a press conference today.  Included in the definition of actions classified as “homophobic” and deemed worthy of reporting to the registry are: “any negative word or act toward a homosexual or homosexuality in general: physical abuse, verbal abuse, intimidation, harassment, offensive graffiti, abuse, injurious mockery, inappropriate media coverage and discrimination.” A  press release  from the group says that anyone who has experienced or witnessed an act of homophobia “must” report it to the registry of homophobic acts.
