University reinstates diversity officer suspended over gay ‘marriage’ stance

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , January 9, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Gallaudet University has reinstated its chief diversity officer, Angela McCaskill, after she  was suspended  last year for signing a petition to allow voters the opportunity to nullify a state law allowing same-sex “marriage.” McCaskill’s reinstatement was announced Monday in an e-mail to students, staff and faculty from university President T. Alan Hurwitz . “This has been a period of reflection for all of us,” wrote Hurwitz. “I am deeply appreciative of the time you have taken to communicate your views, of the clearly heartfelt manner in which you have expressed those thoughts, and of the overall maturity you have shown in your willingness to consider the differing views others may hold.” Angela McCaskill Hurwitz did not provide a reason for McCaskill’s reinstatement in the email he sent out, and the university has refused to comment further on the matter, citing legal concerns. McCaskill’s attorney, J....

Same-sex ‘marriage’ on ballot in four states

Image
November 6, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews ) – Voters in Maine , Maryland , Minnesota and Washington will weigh in on the same-sex “marriage” issue in today’s elections.  Homosexual activists hope that President Obama ’s  recent endorsement  of same-sex “marriage” will influence voters to support gay nuptials in a statewide vote, a victory they have yet to win.  Today’s outcomes may have national implications in the face of two looming Supreme Court battles over the issue. In the month ahead, the Court will hear challenges to both the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8, a ballot measure that repealed California’s same-sex “marriage” law. “If even in this environment we still lost all four [states], it would be a significant setback and we would have to re-evaluate the state by state strategy,” homosexual activist Richard Socarides told Politico. “If with all this money, and with the president’s backing, and with all the public support, we can’t even break...

Unions force members to support Homosexual marriage

Image
You know that we've always been up against the media, Hollywood elites and a small but powerful cadre of billionaires who are all trying to push their gay marriage agenda on the country. And recently, corporate America has jumped in the fray, backing a same-sex marriage agenda that is simply bad for business. But now, another monolith has joined them:  Unions . Please  watch the story of Sarah Rowe  and hear her tell, in her own words, how her union openly endorsed same-sex marriage and pressured its members to do likewise: Here's just one quote from Sarah: It was made known [by my union] that faith shouldn't be a part of the discussion in the union meeting [which] made it more difficult for people to voice their actual opinion. Paul, I can't adequately convey the wealth and power that is arrayed against us in this fight.  Related articles Ten myths about gay 'marriage' Will November be same-sex marriage month? Homosexual marriage activists use myths and falsehoods

Image
No one likes being the bearer of bad news—certainly I don't! But I have to tell you what our opponents are up to in the four states voting on marriage next Tuesday. You see, they are spooked by recent polls showing us with momentum on our side, and so they have unleashed  an avalanche of lies  and harassment in a desperate attempt to score their first state victory and avoid four more crushing defeats. Here's just a sample of the myths and falsehoods our opponents are filling the airwaves (and your mailboxes) with every day: In  Washington State , our opponents are airing ads claiming that if we do not redefine marriage, individuals in a same-sex domestic partnership will be denied hospital visitation rights (Washington law says they cannot be denied). Our opponents are sending out mailers to senior citizens claiming they will lose their health care and pay higher taxes on their Social Security benefits if gay marriage is not legalized (the Washington State S...

Homosexual Marriage Thugs and Tolerance Police

Image
The gay "marriage" thugs and "tolerance" police have struck again. Dr. Angela McCaskill, the first African-American PhD Gallaudet University has produced, was suspended from her university job—simply because campus officials discovered that she had signed a petition to allow the people of Maryland to vote on marriage! McCaskill's offense? Exercising her fundamental civil right to participate in the democratic process. And so, Dr. McCaskill, who is also deaf, was targeted, bullied, and intimidated by the gay "marriage" bullies and "tolerance" police who ultimately suspended her job. Does this sound like tolerance to you? Well, we've had enough of these threats and attacks on law-abiding citizens whose lives are being destroyed because they support God 's definition of marriage... and that's why I'm writing to you today. You see, the gay "marriage" lobby isn't merely attempting to destroy one law-a...

New TV ad to feature Gallaudet University employee suspended for supporting marriage

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , October 18, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Opponents of Maryland ’s Question 6, a referendum on same-sex “marriage,” are running a television ad using footage of suspended Gallaudet University administrator Angela McCaskill and warning that if the referendum passes, supporters of traditional marriage could face similar penalties. McCaskill, the chief diversity officer at the university, was  placed on leave earlier this month  after a homosexual blogger publicized her signature on a petition to put a same-sex “marriage” bill passed by the state legislature in front of the state’s voters. Angela McCaskill, chief diversity officer at Gallaudet University, has been suspended for her views. The ad, put out by the  Maryland Marriage Alliance , mentions four cases in which it says people have been penalized for their views on same-sex “marriage,” including McCaskill’s case, the Chick-fil-A uproar last summer, a sports reporter in Canada who was...
