SAMMAMISH, WA , January 24, 2014  – The ongoing controversy surrounding homosexual teachers at a Seattle-area Catholic school has reached a climax on one point: The school will not rehire a vice principal who “married” his boyfriend. Eastside Catholic School 's Board of Trustees stood by its decision to fire Mark Zmuda at a parents meeting on Thursday night. “The Board stated that Mr. Zmuda has acknowledged he was aware of Catholic doctrine and further knew he was not in full compliance with his employment agreement,” the school said in a  statement . “Eastside Catholic will remain a Catholic school and will support the teachings of the Catholic Church .” The imbroglio had taken a new turn with the resignation of its president and CEO, Sister Mary Tracy, earlier in the week. “Sister Mary came to this decision after much prayer and reflection,” said a statement sent Tuesday to the Eastside Catholic community, according to a  Seattle Times  report. ...

Bill Gates supports immoral homosexual marriage

n just 10 days, you can change history. You could wake up the morning after the election to watch the shocked expression on the faces of all the pundits, the politicians, the out of control judges, and see the headlines:  HISTORIC NATIONAL VICTORY FOR MARRIAGE ! Just 10 days until the polls close, when America will choose. The future of our country—and also the future of marriage—could be decided for generations to come. Nationally, Americans will choose between Mitt Romney , a pro-marriage candidate for President who will defend DOMA and appoint judges that respect our Constitutional values; or the openly pro-gay marriage incumbent, Barack Obama , who has surreptitiously undermined the legal defense of marriage for four years and who, if he gets a second term, will have the power to position a fifth vote on the Supreme Court to invent a right to gay marriage and insert it in our founding document. In Iowa, Judge David Wiggins —the fourth of seven judges who imposed gay m...

NY Court of Appeals slams the door on challenge to same-sex 'marriage' law

Image
NEW YORK, October 24, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Same-sex “marriage” is here to stay, at least according to the New York State Court of Appeals . On Tuesday the appellate court refused to hear a case challenging the state’s gay marriage law. The court gave no explanation for its decision. The suit, filed by New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedom, argued the State Senate ran afoul of state law in their push to approve same-sex “marriage,” holding closed-door meetings in violation of New York ’s “open meetings” statute. The court’s rejection of the case prompted Governor Andrew Cuomo to release a statement saying, “With the Court’s decision, same-sex couples no longer have to worry that their right to marry could be legally challenged in this state. The freedom to marry in this 9tate is secure for generations to come.” Thousands of homosexual couples have taken advantage of the state’s same-sex “marriage” law since it was passed in July 2011. “Obviously we’re disapp...

Drop Gay Dan Savage!

Image
By now you've probably heard about the incredibly squalid performance of President Obama's anti- bullying advisor, Dan Savage . If not, go watch this video here: Invited to address the issue of bullying before a captive audience of other people's children, Dan Savage chose instead to belittle these high-schoolers' faith, to repeatedly curse at the Bible, and, when a group of rather brave students quietly walked out, to curse directly at them. He has refused to apologize for any of it, except for directly cursing at the teens who left. Let me lay down a public challenge to Dan Savage right here and now: You want to savage the Bible? Christian morality? Traditional marriage? Pope Benedict? I'm here, you name the time and the place and let's see what a big man you are in a debate with someone who can talk back. It's easy to make high-school girls cry by picking on them. Let's pick on someone our own size! Here's Dan Savage following up on that perform...

The full Senate is expected also to approve the bill. SB 6239 passed the Government Operations, Tribal Relations & Election Committee on a 4-3 party-line vote on Thursday, and the full Senate is expected to vote on the measure this week. The measure, which would make Washington the seventh U.S. state to alter the definition of marriage, reportedly has the backing of Gov. Chris Gregoire . The measure is expected to pass the Senate after a statement from Democratic Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen last Monday announced she would support SB 6239, giving it the 25th needed vote. Meanwhile, one of the area’s leading evangelical pastors has said that the bill’s language on marriage “discrimination” is “the setup for a knockdown” of religious institutions that op...

OLYMPIA,  - Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire announced at a press conference yesterday that she plans to introduce a bill in the state legislature to legalize homosexual “marriage.” Gregoire signed a law creating same-sex domestic partnerships in the state in 2007, and now hopes Washington will become the seventh state to sanction gay “marriage.” Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire In a twenty minute speech, the governor compared laws against same-sex “marriage” to discrimination against racial minorities, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, and religious sects, and called on Washingtonians to “support equality again in our great state.” The Seattle Times   reports  that the governor, who is a Catholic, has said that her position “has been a battle for me with my religion.” “I came to realize the religions can decide what they want to do, but it is not OK for the state to discriminate,” she said, according to the news service.
