Why I am against gay marriage
  Unlike the vast majority of cases against same sex marriage I am not  going to use arguments of procreation, or compare same-sex parenting to heterosexual parenting. I will use neither religious arguments, nor natural law arguments, nor arguments based off of preference.      Rather this case, which is a secular case, made by a secular writer, emphasizes overlooked aspects of the empirical costs of legalizing same-sex marriage.      Some of the overlooked aspects include the ways in which same sex marriage expands the marital institution  to include gender identity , transgender individuals, transsexual individuals, bisexual individuals who want a same-sex marriage, and how these new dimensions will impact the marriage institution.
