Anal Cancer: The New Gay Epidemic the Media Won't Talk About

Image
The Los Angeles Times calls anal cancer "the next big crisis" for the gay community . According to the American Cancer Society, the future looks grim. The American Cancer Society estimates there will be 8,200 new anal cancer cases in 2017. In the absence of national screening recommendations, more than 50 percent of these individuals will be diagnosed at stage III or IV, when five-year survival is less than 40 percent. This creates a major public health concern. The study shows that anal cancer comes from the sexually transmitted virus HPV. What it doesn't mention is why the gay community is so susceptible to contracting HPV. Perhaps the answer is too politically incorrect for the L.A. Times. NBC reported on a similar study that was done in Hawaii involving women who contracted anal HPV . They danced around the cause in an almost laughable way. It’s not clear exactly how the women contracted anal HPV. Those who developed infections were more likely to be young ...

Gay YouTube star charged with felony vandalism, filing false claim of hate crime

Image
LOS ANGELES, California ,— A high-profile gay YouTube personality who claimed he suffered a violent hate crime has been charged with felony vandalism and filing a false police report . He pleaded not guilty to both charges. In June, Calum McSwiggan   reported being assaulted   after leaving a West Hollywood nightclub. Police said they “were unable to substantiate the assault,” which McSwiggan says was a hate crime. The police subsequently arrested McSwiggan for allegedly vandalizing a car. The police say McSwiggan was not visibly injured at the time of his arrest and he harmed himself with a pay phone in a police holding cell . McSwiggan admitted to harming himself to get out of the cell but said other injuries on his body — three broken teeth and cuts, scrapes, and bruises on his back — were from being assaulted. “In a moment of desperation to get out of the cell, I took the pay phone off the wall and hit myself once across the forehead with it as hard as...

What benefit does homosexuality provide in society?

Image
English: Gender symbols, sexual orientation: heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality. Česky: (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Does the lifestyle of homosexuality benefit society ?  Now, I'm not talking about how homosexuals can attain their sexual jollies and make themselves feel good. I'm talking about the benefits to society as a whole.  How would the proponents of homosexuality answer the question? Well, to find out. I asked this question on the CARM forums and received many interesting replies. I cited several of them and provided responses. 1.  "Why does homosexuality have to benefit society? How does red hair benefit society? Or white skin?" Homosexuality is a lifestyle, a behavior. Lifestyles and behaviors can have beneficial or harmful effects on one's self and others. We know this is true because the homosexual community has a high degree of diseases such as AIDS which affects their own health and even the help of others, i.e., contaminated t...

Ruling stands against Christian photographer who declined gay ‘wedding’, Supreme Court declines case

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C., April 7, 2014  — The U.S. Supreme Court Monday has declined to hear  Elane Photography v. Willock , the case of a photographer who was told by the New Mexico Supreme Court that she must, as “the price of citizenship,” use her creative talents to communicate a message with which she disagrees or suffer punishment. Nonetheless, Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing Elane Photography and its owners, Jonathan and Elaine Huguenin, point out that the central concern in the case—government punishment of Americans for declining to create or promote messages with which they disagree—is alive in other ADF cases moving forward around the country. Elaine Huguenin, co-owner of Elane Photography in Albuquerque, N.M. “Only unjust laws separate what people say from what they believe,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Jordan Lorence. “The First Amendment protects our freedom to speak or not speak on any issue without fear of punishment. ...

How the French debate destroyed the two top myths about gay marriage

Image
June 10, 2013 ( thePublicDiscourse ) - If the recent French mobilizations against same-sex marriage have taught us anything, it’s this: The LGBT lobby has misrepresented its cause’s relationship to time and history.  Illinois  Democrat Greg Harris stated in a  National Public Radio piece  what the lobby has been claiming for years: Folks know this will be a vote that history will remember . . . And I think a lot of folks are deciding they’re going to want to be remembered on the right side of history. The proponents of same-sex marriage like polls. A  Gallup poll  published in mid-May showed public support for their cause rising from 27 percent in 1996 to 53 percent this year.  Pew’s survey data  reflect a more modest rise, from 35 percent in 2001 to 49 percent in 2013, but the upward march is still clear. In April 2013, the  Williams Institute  published a state-by-state analysis that reflected a steady growth in the num...

Obama and Homosexual Marriage

Image
Last week, I told you about the odds we face in the four battleground states—outspent, scorned in the media, with gay marriage advocates confidently predicting victory. But thanks to millions of Americans who've sacrificed their time and treasure to stand up for God's visions of marriage, pro-marriage messages are finally getting out: through churches and synagogues, through personal conversations, through social media, through letters to the editor—and through the ads crafted by NOM's own brilliant Frank Schubert. Now I'm here to tell you... Our Ads Are Working! Remember last week that I told you about the sudden turnaround in polling in Washington. Polls had gay marriage winning by as much as fourteen points, but after just one week of television ads the polls suddenly tightened, showing us within the margin of error and gay marriage advocates under 50 percent! This week, more good news: in Maryland , the miracle continues! Don't take my word for it,...
