New Mexico bans therapy for minors with unwanted gay attractions

Image
New Mexico has become the sixth state to criminalize any professional counseling that helps minors overcome unwanted feelings of same-sex attraction . Republican Gov. Susana Martinez signed SB-121 into law on Friday. The law bans doctors, nurses, and licensed therapists from any attempt to talk to clients about recovering from gay temptation. It also prohibits any professional from helping a boy accept that he is a male or a girl accept that she is a female. The law, which was passed by the Democratic-led state legislature last month, defrocks any therapist who uses "discredited" methods. The legal presumption is that reparative therapy is a "discredited" approach to counseling minors suffering from unwanted homosexual thoughts. Gov. Martinez said she was acting in the best interests of children by signing the bill and cited the American Psychological Association ’s conclusion that same-sex attraction is not only normal, natural, and healthy, but any...

The third in a series from inside the International LGBT Leaders conference. See  Part One here  and  Part Two here . AT&T has intensified its efforts at the state level to lobby to “stop” pro-family , religious liberty bills that have been targeted for defeat by LGBTQ activists, said a spokesman, speaking at a International LGBT Leaders conference. Scott Sapperstein, assistant vice president, public affairs for AT&T, described how the  $234 billion telecommunications corporation  supports the homosexual and "transgender" political agenda as “part of our DNA. It’s a core value for the company. … It’s part of who we are.” “(We're) helping to defeat anti-LGBT bills, but also … to find areas and pockets where we can push pro-[LGBTQ]-equality pieces of legislation,” Sapperstein told an audience of about 100 fellow activists. He said he works closely with  GLAAD , HRC and other national LGBTQ organizations. AT&T’s current embrace of L...

Is what people do in private - none of our business?

Image
The people pushing this corrupted version of sexuality have painted a rather compelling picture of the goal they say they’re after.  They want a society where everybody just happily gets along no matter what people are doing to one another in the sexual sphere .  They may even claim to be Christians - even though they may live together. They use IVF as naturally homosexual and lesbian relations are by nature -barren.  They’re after a sexual utopia where anything goes. They want inclusion, diversity, acceptance, and safe schools. But there’s one problem they’ve encountered. To get to this sexual utopia,  they first have to stamp out every voice that has a version of sexuality that opposes the one they’re championing . See where this is going?  Let’s call these people gay activists . They push a pansexual version of sexuality where anybody is free to do whatever they want, however they want, and with whomever they want.  They rather can’t stand ...

The 255th annual parade meant to celebrate   the Feast of St. Patrick   in New York City is instead being touted as a victory for the homosexual movement. "I never thought I'd see the day when I could march up Fifth Avenue in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with my husband," said Brendan Fay, chairman of the   Lavender and Green Alliance , the second homosexual activist group allowed to march in the NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. "When we started in 1991, after getting arrested so many times for protesting the parade, wow, what a moment this is." The Lavender and Green group follows   OUT@NBCUniversal , a pro-homosexual group for NBC employees that was allowed to march in the 2015 parade after decades of pressure from homosexual activists demanding to be allowed to march with an identifying banner, and organizers disposing of the parade’s long-standing policy to maintain focus on Irish heritage. “We Won!” was the headline of the   Irish Queers ...
