A $10 million LGBTTIQA+ health grant by the Albanese Government, Australia, he says, will channel young people questioning their gender towards unproven medical intervention with irreversible effects, an evidence-based charity has warned. On Monday, Health Minister Mark Butler announced an $18.1 million LGBTIQ+ health and well-being package, including $10 million to enable La Trobe University, trans lobby group ACON and Thorne Harbour Health to "establish a national voluntary training and accreditation scheme to support primary care givers and providers to deliver safe, inclusive and affirming care for LGBTIQABC+ people."
