Country Singer was married to husband now wants to marry woman

Aussie country music singer Beccy Cole will appear on the ABC's Australian Story on Monday night, calling for marriage equality so she can marry her partner Libby O'Donovan. It is unfortunate that the ABC continues to promote homosexual marriage with few opposing views being presented. The ABC appears to be the mouthpiece of the Marriage Equality organizations.

"I married a bloke and that was legal, now I just want to do it right, but I want to be allowed to," Cole said.

Her statement appears to be confused. Cole was a heterosexual woman with a husband but now decides she is a lesbian. So people weren't born gay with a gay gene? Or is this just lust or is being gay trendy at the moment?

Cole says, "When it's something that you really believe in and something that affects you directly and you can see it affecting people within your community, then I think there is a time to stand up and say, 'Come on, let's get this right'."

Homosexuality is not right in fact lesbianism is condemned outright by Paul in Romans 1:27 as the first example of the depth of extreme sin.  Homosexuality for centuries was illegal and a crime against nature, biology, evolution and God.

It doesn't matter what Cole believes or wants - her beliefs can be wrong like all of us. Just because something affects me directly does not mean the Government should legislate for me and or it affects other people.

Cole, with nine Golden Guitar awards to her name, said she was a lesbian on an Australian Story episode in 2012. She will return to the program on Monday, joining the conversation about homosexual marriage and talking about her life with O'Donovan. They live together in what Cole calls a "big, gay Brady Bunch" family. Except the Brady Bunch TV were not gay nor lesbian but were two divorced couples with kids coming together.

The pair wants to marry, but Australian law does not allow for it. But they already have chosen to live together. So why do they want to marry? Why bother?

In their minds, and those who support homosexuality - it means equality. However, in the rest of the community it isn't about equality it is odd, and a disordered lifestyle choice, sinful even very wrong.

In her words at a recent concert she was fearful that she would not be accepted. Therefore, she is hoping homosexual marriage will make her elationship acceptable - it won't and it is a delusion.
