Florida Student with Bagpipes disregards freedom of speech - campus preacher
When Brice Ehmig encountered a preacher speaking about the sinfulness of homosexuality on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University, she decided to diminish his right to freedom of speech and play bagpipes fight back with music.
Ehmig, who is in her fourth year at the university, began drowning out the preacher’s Christian remarks by playing “Amazing Grace." The preacher, who was wearing a “Jesus Saves From Hell” T-shirt at the time of the Aug. 19 incident, appeared undisturbed by Ehmig’s presence, but continued his solid biblical preaching, which included comparing being gay to the greatest sin in scripture.
We salute the preacher for standing up to the homosexual agenda which leads kids into a horid lifestyle of brokenness.
This approach is typical of silencing any opposition to homosexual agenda.
The political science major, who hails from Dunedin, Florida, told the Daily Record in an interview Tuesday that she’d seen and experienced “too much tragedy in the LGBTQ community to let a man in cargo pants tell me I am the embodiment of sin.”

Well at least she got one thing correct - that as a lesbian she is the embodiment of sin but her mocking use of amazing grace condemns her. But the Bible is clear, upon turning from sin in repentance she also can receive amazing grace rather than just knowing how to badly play it on bagpipes.
As it turns out, the Christian preacher is a regular presence on campus, which inspired Ehmig to “to stand up against these false prophets spewing bigotry.”

Ehmig is doing what many sinners did in Israel's history - mocked even killed God's prophets because they dont want to hear the message.
In an interview, the university’s student newspaper, Ehmig said she hopes students and faculty “realize that he does not represent religion,” and she didn’t think the preacher should be kicked off campus.

Unfortunately Ehmig is completely confused about grace, Christianity, and the sin of homosexuality. Ignorance is a sad thing.
