Time to protect traditional marriage

Believe it or not, Congress schedules a full thirteen weeks of vacation each year. Even when they are in session, they often are in Washington only a few days each week. We need to make introduction of FADA a priority, and that's my second request to you. Please click on this link to look up your Representative in Congress. (You'll have to enter your zip code). Then call your Representative's office in Washington and let the staff know that as a constituent you want your Representative to introduce and support the First Amendment Defense Act. If you are asked what the Act provides, refer them to HR 2802 of the last (114th) Congress, which was authored by Rep. Raul Labrador and co-sponsored by 172 other Members of Congress. We need this act re-introduced into the current (115th) Congress to protect marriage supporters and other people of faith from government persecution because of our belief that marriage is only the union of one man and one woman.
People of faith formed the core base of political support that delivered both houses of Congress and the White House to the Republican Party. For years these GOP politicians have promised that they would protect us from persecution because we continue to believe in marriage. Now it is time for them to deliver.
