Blame God for making homosexuals sinful - Church of England.
"There are very many Christian counsellors and spiritual directors, as well as vicars and lay pastoral workers, who meet regularly with Christians with same-sex attraction. They do so because the person has come to them, and because they want to explore their sexual desires within the framework of the Bible and Christian discipleship. The Church of England is saying God made people homosexual.
They are looking for pastoral and Godly help to enable them to live full, Christian lives, within the natural order which God created."
The attributes of God are not in conflict - his love & righteousness, justice do not conflict. God is one. God does not lie - God is truth. God's scripture clearly states many times that homosexuality is a sin.
However, when this apostate church makes these statement - they are accusing a holy God of doinf something God is unable to do - make people sinful.
God who is holy, who is unable to sin, intolerant of sin - causes the sin of homosexuality. This is blasphemy - clear and simple. God is incapable of sin due to his holiness.
The Church of England should read its scripture and not the newspapers or media, or doctors, or psychologists viewpoints...but God alone!
God doesn't sin - we sin! Did Christ sin? Does God sin? No. God is the standard of righteousness and holiness not the newspapers or clerics.
First John 3:4 says, “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.” Sin, therefore, is any violation of God’s holy law. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” According to this verse, sin is anything (words, thoughts, actions, and motivations) that falls short of God’s glory and perfection. All of us sin.
Romans 3:23 also teaches that we must know the character of God before we can accurately define sin, because His glory is the standard by which we measure it (Psalm 119:160; John 17:17). Without a perfect standard, there is no way to determine whether something is imperfect. Without the absolute standard of God’s glory, every word or action would be judged by the faulty, shifting standard of imperfect people. Every rule, law, and moral tenet would become a matter of opinion. And man’s opinion is as varied and changeable as the weather.
