School hid ‘gender transition’ of girl from parents for years: complaint
Pennsylvania’s Pennsbury School District socially ‘transitioned’ a girl and concealed it for nearly three years, and now her parents are urging Trump officials to investigate. Liberty Counsel filed a federal complaint with the U.S. Department of Education on behalf of parents whose minor daughter was secretly treated like a boy by Pennsylvania’s Pennsbury School District. The complaint states that school district officials adopted a male name and pronouns and maintained records, communications, awards, yearbook materials, and social media content reflecting a male identity for the student for nearly three school years without the parents’ knowledge or consent. The complaint states that the district’s actions interfered with the parents’ ability to direct the upbringing, education, and health care of their child and contributed to deterioration in the parent-child relationship.
