Obama pushes LGBT immoral agenda
President Obama is working overtime to impose the dangerous agenda of LGBT extremists. As you know, he's already demanding that every public school in America comply with an edict opening school bathrooms, showers and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex based on "gender identity." This risks the privacy and safety of girls who could be confronted by biological men in the most intimate of facilities.
Now Obama's Department of Health & Human Services has ruled that doctors, hospitals, insurers and taxpayer-funded health programs must provide hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgeries for "transgender" persons. Our taxes and insurance premiums will pay for this!
We must be committed to fighting President Obama and to derailing this illegal, dangerous, expensive agenda. We're working to pressure Congress to put an end to this, and will support states, school districts, and parents who are planning to sue the Obama administration. We're also working to educate the public about what is going on, and rally the grassroots to protest.
Sadly, common sense is not something the Obama Administration understands. They would rather kowtow to LGBT extremists who think they can bully the American people into supporting their dangerous agenda. That's why they, and President Obama, must be challenged at every opportunity — in the courts, through legislation, and at the ballot box.
Many groups have been pushed to the sidelines by ugly threats from gay activists, but NOM has never wavered. We have stood strong and fought hard for the truth of marriage, for religious liberty and to maintain and respect the complementarity of the sexes.
