Australia: PM Turnbull fails conservatives by supporting homosexual marriage

Pride Marches? Shame Marches of sin - no wonder a girl covers her face but politician don't?

The former PM's Tony Abbott who does not support homosexual marriage but was present at the launch of the Federal Liberal campaign. As a result, Turnbull's speech seemed to be awkward and badly paced, and he chose not to raise the main issue that is dividing his party and the nation - immoral homosexual marriage.

At no time did Turnbull mention the consequent battle between the two men that will tear any future Coalition Government apart – the legalisation of immoral homosexual marriage.

Many coalition members have stated they will not support the outcome of a plebiscite if the Australian community votes in favour of immoral homosexual marriage. The difficulty is that many conservative voters are abandoning Turnbull's because of his support for immoral homosexual marriage. In addition, if the policy does succeed, the fight is not over, as members of the public, Churches, Christian schools, conservatives, ministries, various religions (that are not liberal) will not support homosexual marriage. The threats will escalate as we have seen in the USA,UK and EU where people will be fined and jailed in order to "change their attitude." Priests who declare homosexuality is still a sin are still being taken to court by LGBT extremists in Europe with the threat of fines, jail and "diversity training."

Malcolm Turnbull's is confident that legislation to formalise the people's vote will "sail through" Parliament.  Here is a leader who is so arrogant, so readily to dismiss others voices who stand for traditional marriage and his reason? To simply get voted in by those electorate who are pushing the LGBT agenda. He is a blind politician.

The Cabinet and then the Coalition's joint party room must first approve any such legislation, providing at least three or more opportunities for conservatives to state their solid case to progressives who seek popularity at any cost.

The last time such a battle between the philosophical extremes of the Coalition occurred, Turnbull lost the Liberal leadership to Abbott by only one vote.

Clearly some of those MPs changed their minds and voted for Turnbull to replace Abbott, but that choice would have been based on who had the best chance of leading the Coalition to an election victory. Turnbull will lose his PM leadership because people are abandoning him and going to parties like Family First.

Turnbull will be in a much weaker position after the election.
