U.S. Psychoanalysts Apologize For Labeling Homosexuality An Illness
The American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA) apologized on Friday for previously treating homosexuality as a mental illness, saying its past errors contributed to discrimination and trauma for LGBTQ people.
Unfortunately, whenever any organization moves away from the law of God they have no other alternative to accepting what scripture clearly rejects. They have no moral foundation to reject any form of LGBTQ behavior.
Homosexuality by its very nature according to God's word is not God's ultimate intent and as a result not under the blessing of God hence all and any gay relationships suffer and not because APsaA held a negative view on homosexuality then changed their mind. Homosexuality is against nature itself and many who have exited this lifestyle choice say it is simply lust and pride. The Bible calls pride a great sin.
Again APA changed their view because: LGBTQ activists disrupted the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association in 1970 in San Francisco. The protests upended the convention so much, Drescher said, that by December1973 the APA’s board removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
Why did they change their mind?
Psychiatrists declassified homosexuality as a disorder in 1973 and psychoanalysts came around nearly 20 years later. It should be noted that in 1973 there was outside gay pressure and inward pressure from homosexuals to change the definition. The most amazing thing happened to declassify homosexuality from an illness to a healthy lifestyle choice was voted on. Since when do you vote on science? Never. As a result, a group broke away from APA simply because they saw through the gay pressure agenda.
“It is long past time to recognize and apologize for our role in the discrimination and trauma caused by our profession and say, ‘We are sorry,’” said a statement by Dr. Lee Jaffe, president of APsaA. So what is the scientific basis for changing their mind? What has changed?
Ready......here is their rationale for changing:

Ready......here is their rationale for changing:
"The change in the medical community’s thinking about homosexuality and Friday’s apology both stem from a seminal event in LGBTQ history 50 years ago: the Stonewall uprising."That's it?
Again APA changed their view because: LGBTQ activists disrupted the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association in 1970 in San Francisco. The protests upended the convention so much, Drescher said, that by December1973 the APA’s board removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
But as I said that is only half the truth, they continued to put pressure and force upon the APA to change the definition - no science, no logic just manipulation.
APsaA did not change its position until 1991 when, under threat of an anti-discrimination lawsuit. So again, force pressure came to bear on organizations to change their view.
This is standard LGBTQ agenda - force people to change or take them to court anybody who disagrees.
