Senator Ruben Diaz faithfully stands against Gay agenda

State Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr. held a massive rally Sunday outside Bronx Supreme Court against gay marriage 
Ruben Diaz, a Pentecostal minister, marched down the Grand Concourse to the courthouse with a throng of supporters who waved signs in support of "traditional" marriage between a man and a woman.
"We support traditional marriage between one man and one woman," one banner read. Others warned: "God's Marriage = 1 man & 1 woman" and "Gay Marriage Is Against the Word of God."
Two years ago, the state Senate defeated a same-sex marriage bill by a wide margin. But Gov. Cuomo has said he will push to pass the legislation, reigniting the debate.
Ruben Diaz insisted the issue has nothing to do with respect. "To the whole group that is up there, we all respect you and we love you," he told the opposing protest.
Milagra Cortes, 54, of Parkchester, the Bronx, said she believes "marriage should be between a man and a woman."
"I'm not against them as human beings, but it's not something normal ... I just try to give them verses from the Bible," Cortes said.

DENVER, CO ,  – A Colorado board has ruled that a Christian business owner must make wedding cakes for homosexual "marriages" despite his religious objections. Business owner Jack Phillips came under legal fire in 2012, when he refused to bake a cake for Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig , who had traveled to Massachusetts for a marriage license, and wanted to celebrate in their home state. They sued on the basis of a state law that prevents the application of religious beliefs if one owns a business. The Commission's ruling, which was issued verbally on Friday, orders Phillips to report every three months for the next two years on anti-discrimination training for his staff, and any customers who are refused service at his establishment.
