Drag queens at public libraries: the new strategy to indoctrinate kids and sideline Christians

Image
Every summer growing up, my mother would dutifully drive my siblings and me down to the local public library so that we could be part of the annual Summer Reading Program. Reading contests were held, prizes were handed out, and nearly every week there was a new event for the kids—my two favorites being a costumed medieval troupe that taught us all about life in the Middle Ages, and an animal wrangler who came festooned with snakes and carting along other strange creatures. A recent glance at the news, however, illustrated to me just how much things have changed in the twenty or so years since I traipsed into the library every week with my family. These days, public libraries have now joined the growing list of places that are showcasing the LGBT movement to children, with activist groups sponsoring drag queens to read “LGBT-friendly” books to the boys and girls who assemble for these events. In Toronto, drag queens have been brought in to read stories like My Princess Boy to childre...

Canada’s state broadcaster hosts anti-Christian gay activist Dan Savage as sex-ed expert

Image
Warning: This report contains explicit content not suitable for children TORONTO– Canada’s publicly funded broadcaster is using notoriously anti-Christian American homosexual activist Dan Savage as an expert on sex education. CBC gave Savage ten minutes on its flagship radio call-in program to extol the alleged benefits of the sex-ed curriculum former Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne rolled out in Ontario in 2015 despite the massive parental backlash. Unsurprisingly, Savage opined on Cross Country Checkup Sunday that Conservative Premier Doug Ford scrapping that sex-ed program by September was a “serious mistake” that puts children “in danger.” CBC described Savage as “podcaster and author have best known for his internationally syndicated sex and relationship advice column, Savage Love,” in an article promoting the show. Savage’s “biggest concerns include anti-gay bullying and the fact that queer students will not be acknowledged in sex-ed programs,” it reported...

Snapchat partners with PinkNews to serve LGBT content on platform

Image
The UK-based website PinkNews is Snapchat’s “ first LGBT partner ,” meaning the pro-gay news site’s channel will appear in the app’s “Discover” section, accessible to children and teens alongside outlets like Cosmopolitan. PinkNews is “now read by more people than any other LGBT+ media in the US or the UK,” it says. Snapchat, which allows users sending photos and videos that disappear after being opened and post to their “story” photos and videos that are visible to friends for 24 hours, has become an increasingly popular social media platform for millennials and the younger “Generation Z.” The addition of PinkNews will not be much of a significant change, as the Discover section already features content from a number of media outlets, most of which lean considerably left and often are sexually explicit. On Thursday, a story from PinkNews available on Snapchat was about the 10-year-old drag queen “Desmond is Amazing.” The National Center for Sexual Exploitation put Snapchat on its...

Irish bishops cave into offering fake ‘marriage counseling’ and ‘sex therapy’ to gay couples

Image
Ireland’s Catholic bishops have reportedly caved into government demands to provide “marriage care service” that includes “marriage preparation” and “marital sex therapy” to homosexual couples. The bishops’ decision, seen as a move to avoid losing government funding, seems to place fiscal considerations over fidelity to Church teaching. At issue is nearly €1.6 million in government funding for Accord , the counseling service administered by the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ICBC). In 2016, the Irish government, now headed by the homosexual Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, supplied roughly one-quarter of Accord’s operating budget. Back in January, Catholic marriage and family counseling agencies in Ireland were told they must accept LGBT-identifying clients, otherwise, they would risk losing government funding. The Catholic service had a formal policy of not accepting homosexual couples on religious grounds, reported The Times. In 2015, Ireland became the first country to legalize ...

Pro-marriage fast food chain Chick-fil-A is coming to Toronto. Liberals are having a meltdown

Image
When I read that the fried chicken giant Chick-fil-A was planning to open several restaurants in Toronto next year (and a dozen across Canada over the next several years), I texted my friend: “Prediction: some activist is going to make a stink about Chick-fil-A.” After all, when the famous chicken chain moved into New York City earlier this year, the New Yorker noted that Chick-fil-A’s arrival was “creepy” because of its “pervasive Christian traditionalism.” Even the fact that Chick-fil-A remains closed on Sunday attracted the writer’s ire. And sure enough, so it was. Businesses owned by Christians who support Christian causes were once common (and still are, some enterprising journalist is sure to discover soon), but now the mere mention of the restaurant chain triggers tortured headlines like this one , in the Globe and Mail: “Controversial U.S. fast-food chain Chick-fil-A, whose owners criticize gay marriage, expanding to Toronto.” Now, what do you think the Globe wants you to k...

Jimmy Carter needs a reality check on the damage homosexuality does

Image
Vicious attacks on Christians? People losing their jobs and businesses? Kids being corrupted? Church communities in total disarray? What's not to like about the "LGBTQ" movement in America? Oh, but Jimmy Carter thinks "gay marriage" doesn't damage anyone. Jimmy Carter talks like he spent the last two decades in New Zealand. Maybe he did, mentally. He is clueless and so, so wrong about homosexuality which, far from being a victimless sin, is the progenitor of virulent pathologies that are poisoning our culture. The homosexuality/gender rebellion movement, behaviors and identities are toxic. If we didn't know this forty years ago when "gay rights" was in its infancy (and Carter was president), we certainly have ample evidence now. Carter said in a recent interview , "I think Jesus would encourage any … love affair if it was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else, and I don't see that gay marriage damages anyone else....

200 rabbis call out LGBT movement for using ‘terror’ tactics to promote lifestyle contrary to Torah

Image
Orthodox rabbis in the Holy City are reportedly calling out LGBT rights groups for using “aggressive terror” tactics to turn “perverts into heroes” in a letter published by Hebrew media. The group of more than 200 rabbis wrote the letter in support of Jerusalem Chief Rabbi Aryeh Stern whose comments against LGBT adoption have created a stir. In the wake of Israel passing a law to prevent gay couples from obtaining children through surrogates, massive protests erupted in Jerusalem Sunday, drawing upwards of 100,000 people. LGBT activists were decrying the Israeli government’s claim that it would be an “additional burden” on the child to be adopted by a same-sex couple. Then, Rabbi Stern whipped LGBT groups into frenzy by reportedly stating it is a “fact that kids are entering very strange and unnatural lives of living without a mother and a father”. He also reportedly called acting out as an LGBT person “forbidden”. In a letter, more than 200 orthodox rabbis backed him up. “[He] simp...
