Biola University & homosexual students coming from public schools

They want to attend a Christian college but ignore scripture and its mandate.
Last year One Wheaton, a group of LGBT Wheaton students and graduates, expressed similar concerns about Wheaton College, about the fear and hiding and hurt they've experienced as students there. This year GCN (Gay Christian Network) executive director Justin Lee has been travelling and speaking at Christian colleges around the country in an effort to open up dialogue over these topics.
An increasing number of high school students were tuning into gay issues not primarily because of the rhetoric they heard at church, but because of liberal media, with Glee, Will & Grace, Lady gaga. They also may have non-Christian friends or even a relative who is gay or lesbian.
Their world is more influenced by the liberal media than the word of God. Conversations were taking place, feelings were being shared, support was being given, and barriers were falling, quite often within the public school environment where anti-bullying policies were enforced or a Gay-Straight Alliance Club are present on campus. This culture promotes and protects the sin of homosexuality. As a result teens are being led to a confused misunderstood acceptance of homosexuality as normal and healthy. Like fornication (making love to someone not your spouse) is now celebrated as normal almost on all TV shows but has always been condemned as sin in scripture.
If anti-gay slurs or bullying takes place among the public school students, the administration is on it, fast. When some students participated in the annual Day of Silence in protest of anti-LGBT behavior, some of the teachers took the initiative to explain the meaning of the day to their classes. There is a feeling of safety, openness, acceptance, and faculty and administration support on campus. The absolute perversion of homosexual sin has been twisted into something deemed beautiful to be celebrated.
They enter the Christian college from an atmosphere where the presence of gay students was accepted and celebrated to a place where they were invisible and largely in hiding. She would be going from a secular campus where teachers and administrators promote non-Biblical sexual orientation issues and advocated for the fake dignity of every student, regardless of their sin, to a Christian campus where they are confronted with the facts of the deadly sin of homosexuality. In a liberal sense, a student would feel like they had gone backward, but in a Biblical sense they would have moved towards truth and away from lies. Going from one soft world view to a distinct hardened worldview.
Hence, the current crisis.
Christian colleges are a place where the future leadership of the church is trained up. In another ten years these college kids are going to be pastors, elders, deacons, missionaries, counselors, and Sunday school teachers. They are the generation that is going to have to deal with the question, "Is same-sex sexual intimacy a sin?" because nothing short of their own cherished relationships with gay and lesbian family, friends, and may be at stake. They will then realize for them NOT to say something to their friends leaves them in a place of sin and damnation. Loose a friendship or loose them to hell?
The problem here is the influence of the world has trumped the Bible and church. This influence is now becoming obvious.
