When will churches stand against homosexual marriage?
What will it take?
If you listened to the video, it is clear that this teacher is the one that escalated the incident. She began yelling and berating the student that brought up an opposing viewpoint. Nothing he said about President Obama was even disrespectful. He made a counter-argument and she went ballistic and even made outrageous claims suggesting he could be arrested.
The shocking video should be our wake up call. Classrooms all over America have become nothing more than propaganda machines for Obama’s reelection.
We know that this classroom situation is but the tip of ice berg. Need more evidence? Yesterday, the NAACP decided to formally approve of gay marriage and will now bully millions of black Christians to violate their Christian conscience. Get real! They had years to decide if gay marriage was
a civil right. They did this to undo the damage among black Christians from Obama’s new stance on gay marriage. It is all about getting Obama reelected. Why aren’t more Bible believing black pastors condemning this?

NBC, MSNBC, CBS, and newspapers all over our nation are mouthpieces for the White House. Under normal circumstances (ask Jimmy Carter) the media would put aside ideology and admit that the president had failed miserably as a leader. We are no longer under the normal circumstances of free speech.
This should be a wakeup call for Christian leaders but sadly it will likely be ignored by a false teaching that we should stay out of this.
Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps. Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out– Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out– Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Here are two verses that show us why we need to speak out now:
Acts 16:37 But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out.” 38 And the officers told these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans.
Acts4:18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. 20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”
Here are today’s disturbing questions:
- Have powerful Obama supporters decided that he cannot get reelected through a free and open election?
- Have they concluded that the end of reelecting Obama justifies the means of trampling freedom of worship and freedom of speech?
- Lastly, are you, a Christian leader, by your silence being complicit with the destruction of these rights?
