LGBT lied about ex-gay ministries

Image
Since its beginnings in the 1970s, the ex-gay movement has engaged gay advocates in a battle of testimonies. Transformed ex-gay leaders are the best argument for their movement. Likewise, those who've left the ex-gay movement in despair and disgust are the best counterargument. The debate continued this June, when Exodus International held its 32nd annual conference in Irvine, California, featuring dozens of speakers and seminar leaders who have quit homosexuality.  Down the road outside the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, a news conference featured three former Exodus leaders saying "ex-gay" is a delusion. New research may change the terms of the debate. Psychologists Stanton Jones of Wheaton College and Mark Yarhouse of Regent University released today a book detailing their findings from the first three years of an ongoing study. They are investigating participants in 16 different ex-gay programs associated with Exodus, the largest ex-gay ministry gr...

Reject Homosexual marriage

Image
In 2004, Swedish Pentecostal pastor Åke Green preached a sermon in which he denounced homosexuality as a "cancerous tumor" on society. A Swedish court subsequently sentenced him to one month in prison for hate speech (a charge that was eventually dismissed). Americans were shocked by the incident, but not alarmed. After all, those poor Swedes have no First Amendment protection of even the most eccentric religious beliefs, a protection Americans have as a matter of course. Or do we? On paper, yes. But American Christians need to take a careful look at what is already happening. Looming ahead through a blurry fog of impending lawsuits and court decisions on gay marriage is a train wreck of epic proportions. It's cause? The determination of the gay rights community to have absolute equality with heterosexuals over the issue of marriage. Now equality is a good thing, right? After all, the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s was all about gaining equ...

Reject Homosexual Marriage legislation

Image
The government must ensure stability in the present and provide for its future. Everyone, including the homosexually oriented, depends on these things being done and done well. The two objectives are closely related, and children are at the focus of both. Providing for the future means bearing, educating and socializing children; children are our social security, economically, physically and emotionally. If there are not enough of them, there will eventually be a disproportion between those able to work and those who cannot, and the burden of supporting the dependent population can become so severe that it strains society's bonds. If the children are not raised properly, the well-being of those who depend on them later is threatened as much as, if not more than, if there are too few children. Marriage provides for society's future by formally constituting the family. The traditional family—husband, wife, and natural children—is the only way societies have ever found of provi...

"Homosexuality Is Not Hardwired," Concludes Dr. Francis S. Collins, Head Of The Human Genome Project

Image
By A. Dean Byrd, Ph.D, MBA, MPH Francis S. Collins, one of the world's leading scientists who works at the cutting edge of DNA research, concluded that "there is an inescapable component of heritability to many human behavioral traits." However, he adds, "for virtually none of them, is heredity ever close to predictive." In reviewing the heritability (i.e., the influence of genetic factors) on personality traits, Dr. Collins referenced the research of Bouchard and McGue for the estimated percentage of these traits that can be ascribed to heredity. The heritability estimates for personality traits were varied: General Cognitive Ability (50%), Extroversion (54%), Agreeableness (42%), Conscientiousness (49%), Neuroticism (48%), Openness (57%), Aggression (38%) and Traditionalism (54%). Such estimates of heritability are based upon unbiased, careful analyses of studies conducted with identical twins. The studies lead to the conclusion that heredity is important i...

Layman responds to Fr. James Martin: ‘It’s hate not to tell LGBT that gay sex leads to hell’

Image
To not tell Catholics who identify as LGBT that homosexual acts will lead them to hell is actually showing them hate. This was the bold message delivered Wednesday to the family conference running concurrently to the Vatican’s LGBT-affirming World Meeting of Families (WMOF) in Dublin, Ireland this week. Telling the truth to LGBT Catholics is urgent because we decide where we’re going for all of eternity by our choices and actions during our lives. “That’s the seriousness of what we’re dealing with here,” said Westen. “And that’s the seriousness we need to convey to all those in our lives who are afflicted with sexual confusion.” “It’s hate not to tell LGBT Catholics that gay sex leads to hell,” he told attendees at “A Conference of Catholic Families.” Westen noted for the audience how not more than 10-minutes’ walk from the Conference locale Jesuit Father James Martin would be delivering the message to Catholic families at the Vatican-presented WMOF that homosexuality and transgende...

Boston sued for refusing to fly Christian flag at city hall despite flying LGBT flag

Image
A 59-year-old Boston man is challenging the city’s refusal to fly a Christian flag over city hall to recognize Christianity’s historical contributions to both Boston and the state of Massachusetts, the Boston Globe reports . Camp Constitution is a charitable trust dedicated to promoting “understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity, including the genius of our United States Constitution, and the application of free enterprise” through a variety of discussions, activities, and events. Last year its director, Harold Shurtleff, wanted to fly a Christian flag with a red cross on a blue background, with white on three sides, at the city hall to commemorate “the civic and social contributions of the Christian community to the City, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, religious tolerance, the Rule of Law, and the US Constitution.” But the city denied him a permit on the grounds that it “maintains a policy and practice of respectfull...

Homosexual couple ‘married’ by Justice Ginsberg accused of drugging, raping student

Image
Ginsburg  did the same for several homosexual couples  in the years before the court mandated that all fifty states recognize homosexual or fake “marriage,” leading many lawmakers, religious leaders, and pundits to  demand that she recuse herself  from the case for pre-signaling her personal view on the subject. She refused to bow out, however, and  Obergefell v. Hodges  declared a constitutional right to homosexual fake  “marriage” 5-4 in 2015. A 4-4 tie  would have allowed  the lower court ruling in the case to stand ( in this case  a Sixth Circuit ruling that states did not have to recognize same-sex “marriages”), but would not have set a binding precedent for the rest of the country. The 85-year-old Ginsburg, the subject of an  upcoming Hollywood movie , said in July that she has “about at least five more years” before she retires. Rising baritone singer Samuel Schultz has accused a prominent homosexual couple whose “marria...
