Sinful Homosexual Marriage will unify a nation?
Sally Rugg is an advocate for immoral homosexual marriage. She is a paid worker for the Labor funded organization - GetUp. Sally believes rather incorrectly that homosexual marriage will be a 'unifying moment' in Australia.
Note that phrase - Sinful Homosexual Marriage will unify a country.
How can the normalization of the sinful broken lifestyle of homosexuality bring a country together? The answer is - It can't! This clearly demonstrates that advocates outside of the LGBT circle do not understand, or maybe don't care what these changes will do to other people. The least of which is bringing a country together as evidence is already very clear from other countries it divides. Gushy feelings have thrown truth out the window. A broken sinful lifestyle or gay marriage doesn't bring equality but sadly brings judgement from God according to Romans 1:28 even when people do not believe in Christ.
The Bible clearly speaks of a depraved mind and abandonment for those involved and those who promote. This is the God of love and holiness speaking. But God doesn't leave people there he calls them to turn, repent of this sin and follow Christ. But will they? Repentance and salvation is available for all who call on the name of Jesus. To celebrate the sin of homosexuality is to be a God-hater.
The article of Sally Rugg's is below:
While Sally Rugg has been relentlessly upbeat in her campaigning, she's also acutely aware that this is not merely an intellectual exercise about legislation.
"It's hard to describe the impact of anti-LGBTI advertising," she says. "I have witnessed the people around me, in my community, and everybody's incredibly anxious. Everybody's worn down. Everybody's constantly checking in with each other because we're terrified of losing people."
While the result of the survey won't be revealed until November 15th, how will it feel when Australia finally gets marriage equality?
"I think when it passes, which I'm hoping will be very, very soon, I'm hoping that it will be a really beautiful, unifying moment for the country," she smiles with genuine enthusiasm. "And I hope we can celebrate it and move on."
