Vatican Slams Door Shut On Gay Unions

Image
The Catholic Church has made an official stance on gay marriage, confirming that it “will not bless gay unions”. In a statement Monday, the church has confirmed that it does not support same-sex marriage, saying it “cannot bless sin”. It cannot bless a fake marriage or homosexual marriage. This was the church’s stance in response to the question, “Does the Church have the power to give the blessing to unions of persons of the same sex?” In a written statement, the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, says no. Citing Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, writes: “There are absolutely no grounds for considering homosexual unions to be in any way similar or even remotely analogous to God’s plan for marriage and family.” Senior Rome Correspondent for Catholic News Agency, Hannah Brockhaus, explained in the video below why the Vatican decided to clarify this now and whether people who have homosexual inclinations can receive a blessing from a priest.    Acc...

Ex-Gay Milo Yiannopoulos to open reparative therapy center for gays

Image
‘To suggest that reparative therapy is somehow damaging to people’s self-esteem is so laughably preposterous, I don’t take it seriously.’ After publicly describing himself as ‘ex-gay’ and saying he is consecrating his life to Christ, conservative activist Milo Yiannopoulos has again rocked the world, announcing that he plans to open a “reparative therapy” center in Florida “to help other people go through the same journey that I’m on myself.” “This has been the easiest thing to raise money for that I’ve ever done. There is an enormous demand for this among people who believe they’ve been led astray by … the gay establishment,” Yiannopoulos told the New York Post, which mislabeled the planned center as offering ‘conversion therapy’ in its original headline, before later altering it. “I think part of that is the resurgence of religious, socially conservative, kind of reactionary politics among noisy young conservatives,” asserted Yiannopoulos. “People who are kind of like DMing me now,” ...

LGBT activists sue Canadian pastor for preaching biblical sexuality

Image
‘Our services are our services,’ the pastor said in response. ‘You don’t go into a bake shop and ask them to fix your car. Then you can’t come into a Christian church and expect us to convey messages that we don’t agree with.’ Back in 2019, I noted that the LGBT movement would methodically begin going after clergy for sermons. Most sermons and homilies are posted online; with laws that increasingly expand the definition of hate speech and sustained campaigns to portray Christian organizations at hate groups, it was only a matter of time before activists set to work trawling the hours of content hunting for any expression of heresy against LGBT orthodoxy. Any expression of the biblical view of sexuality and gender makes clergy a target. The media is happy to help. In 2019, when a Catholic priest from Calgary was targeted for a homily in which he condemned the rainbow flag, the Toronto Star’s headline unabashedly sided with the activists: “Calgary priest under fire for homophobic ...

Vatican bars gay union blessing, says God ‘can’t bless sin’

Image
Rome: The Vatican has decreed that the Catholic Church won’t bless same-sex unions since God “cannot bless sin”. The Vatican’s orthodoxy office, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, issued a formal response on Monday to a question about whether Catholic clergy have the authority to bless gay unions. The answer, contained in a two-page explanation published in seven languages and approved by Pope Francis, was “negative” The note distinguished between the church’s welcoming and blessing of gay people, which it upheld, but not their unions. It argued that such unions are not part of God’s plan and that any such sacramental recognition could be confused with marriage. The note immediately disheartened aggressive advocates for LGBT Catholics and threw a theological wrench in the debate within the very liberal believe nothing and approve everything German church, which has been at the forefront of opening discussion on hot-button issues such as the church’s teaching on homosexuali...

Activist Milo Yiannopoulos is now ‘Ex-Gay'

Image
Milo Yiannopoulos, the gay man whose conservative messaging and willingness to speak the truth sparked riots on university campuses may well trigger more outrage now that he describes himself as “Ex-Gay” and “sodomy free.  Two years ago,  Yiannopoulos was challenged to live a chaste life, Yiannopoulos was not defensive. Instead, he acquiesced, and humbly admitted his human weakness. I know everything you’re saying, and I’m just not there yet. And I don’t know if I’ll get there,” Yiannopoulos told Voris at the time. It seems that he has now arrived “there.”  When I used to kid that I only became gay to torment my mother, I wasn’t entirely joking. Of course, I was never wholly at home in the gay lifestyle — Who is? Who could be? — and only leaned heavily into it in public because it drove liberals crazy to see a handsome, charismatic, intelligent gay man riotously celebrating conservative principles. That’s not to say I didn’t throw myself enthusiastically into degeneracy o...

To maintain their identity and defend truth, conservatives must resist LGBT infiltration

Image
The GOP must assert more clearly and boldly than ever that marriage is between one man and one woman; that there are precisely two sexes; and that nobody is ‘born in the wrong body’ or ‘born that way.’   There’s a battle going on for the soul of the newly emerging conservative political coalition, involving issues of enormous consequence for the future of our nation, but which remain off the radar of many engaged observers. Here’s what’s at stake: Will conservatives assert the immutable nature of human beings as male and female, or will that which is known by science and clearly visible in nature be tossed into the dumpster of history in favor of misguided political opportunism? Will the GOP continue to recognize the supreme importance of complementarity? MM Live Put another way: As gay, lesbian, and transgender individuals rightly stream away from the Democrat Party and find a new home under the Republican tent, the GOP must assert more clearly and boldly than ever that marriage i...

French group 'Stop Homophobie' sues church

Image
Renaissance catholique, a French lay association of traditional-minded Catholics, has been indicted for calling “to discriminate against a group of people because of their sexual orientation.” That offense is included in the list of “racist” crimes in the French penal law dealing with media offenses. The whole process was initiated by “Stop Homophobie,” an association that has the ear of the authorities, and it is not simply a show of impatience with a private association that has different views: The words which are being characterized as a hate crime are a summary of a 2003 note from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, presided at the time by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who went on to become Pope Benedict XVI. It is precisely the condemnation of the legalization of civil unions for homosexuals that is being called to the attention of the French penal courts, as summarized in the 2019 “Declaration of the truths relating to some of the most common errors in the life of the Ch...
