Jesus, Scripture, and the Myth of New Knowledge Arguments about Homosexual Unions

Image
Dr. Gagnon will address the myth that we have radically new knowledge today about homosexuality that allows us to discount the biblical witness on homosexual practice or to claim its affirmation of loving homosexual relationships. Join FRC as Dr. Gagnon clearly presents a Scriptural perspective on today's most hotly contested moral debate: human sexuality. Robert A. J. Gagnon is Associate Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is a member both of the Society of Biblical Literature and of the Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas

Loaded LGBTQ: Outgoing Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin to Leave Behind $500,000+ Salary

Image
Folks, I sent this email to pro-family activists after learning that Chad Griffin, the president of the world’s leading LGBTQ lobby group,  Human Rights Campaign  (HRC), is stepping down next year.  Turns out there’s some resentment among grassroots “gay” activists at HRC’s enormous salaries and spending priorities (Griffin made  $507,000 in 2013 ): Wow, and we wonder why we’re losing: outgoing HRC President Chad Griffin was making $500,000/yr. plus benefits. (The same HRC spent a whopping $26 million in the midterms  influencing 6 battleground states, including AZ where it backed victorious self-declared “bisexual” Kyrsten Sinema.) This email [below] is from a grassroots gay activist who is resentful toward HRC for sucking up all the gay donor $$$. It seems to me that the  LGBTQueer  lobby has created such a powerful money machine, including hundreds of millions of dollars extracted from pandering corporations, that it doesn’t even k...

Twitter locks out conservative Christian for saying gay sex ‘spreads disease’ and is a ‘sin’

Image
Editor's note: The following report is written by Peter LaBarbera, a former reporter for LifeSiteNews and the president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH.org), based outside Chicago, Illinois. He shares a letter he wrote to Twitter after being banned from the platform for posting what the social media giant deemed "hateful conduct." WARNING: This this letter contains graphic medical descriptions of homosexual acts. October 17, 2018 – I sent a version of the following letter to Twitter today appealing their decision Monday to lock me out of my account ( @PeterLaBarbera ) due to a 2016 tweet describing homosexual acts as a “sin” that “spreads disease” – which Twitter deemed in violation of its rules against “hateful conduct.” Near the end of the letter, I state the following: "If Twitter no longer allows its users to advocate for healthy behaviors on its platform, and to defend their sincere moral and religious beliefs--shared by billions worldwide--th...

Facebook deletes pro-family page for ‘hate speech’ against LGBT

Image
Over the weekend Facebook unpublished the page of a prominent social-conservative group for allegedly using unspecified “hate speech,” Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) president Peter LaBarbera revealed Monday. AFTAH is dedicated to “apply[ing] the same single-minded determination to opposing the radical homosexual agenda and standing for God-ordained sexuality and the natural family as countless homosexual groups do in promoting their harmful agenda.” LaBarbera frequently debates homosexual issues on mainstream and pro-LGBT media and has written for LifeSiteNews. On Sunday, Facebook took down AFTAH’s Facebook page entirely, leaving only a “Page Not Found” message in its place as of the time of this writing. View image on Twitter Peter LaBarbera@PeterLaBarbera Yesterday the cowardly yet proficient anti- #conservatives at @Facebook took down ("unpublished") AFTAH's FB page, citing violations of their (spurious) #hate standards. We are appealing: 2 “Y...

House Republicans object to LGBT provisions of new NAFTA trade deal

Image
Among the accomplishments President Donald Trump is most proud of is renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. But a group of GOP lawmakers voiced concerns over the ramifications of language about LGBT “discrimination.” At issue is Chapter 23 of the deal, under which all three countries agree to “implement policies that protect workers against employment discrimination on the basis of,” among other things, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” “We recognize your tireless efforts to protect the American worker and the American economy,” 38 Republican members of Congress wrote in a November 16 letter to the president. “We are, however, deeply concerned by the unprecedented inclusion” of “sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) language for the first time in a Free Trade Agreement.” “A trade agreement is no place for the adoption of social policy,” the signatories declared, warning that the elevating SOGI cl...

Homosexual activists force Christian couple’s wedding magazine to shut down

Image
A wedding magazine published by a Christian couple in Australia was shut down by a targeted campaign to drive away their advertisers because the magazine did not show same-sex couples. "Last year, the Australian law was changed to allow same-sex couples to marry," Luke and Carla Burrell wrote in a blog post entitled Farewell. "Since then, we have been asked repeatedly why our magazine had not yet featured all couples … we’ve experienced a flood of judgment." As the Burrells tried to reflect on where they stand on the issue of showing same-sex "marriages" in their publication, LGBT activists flexed their financial muscle to force them to either comply with their wishes — or shut down. "Instead of allowing us the space to work through our thoughts and feelings, or being willing to engage in brave conversations to really hear each other’s stories, some have just blindly demanded that we pick a side," wrote the Burrells. "We’re not about sides,...

Gays Next Target? Churches That Won’t Wed Them

Image
You can laugh all you want to at the thought of gays forcing a church to marry them that doesn’t want to – but churches that don’t tow the gay agenda are up for the next hit by the gay mafia. The gay mafia is just like the Italian mafia, with a protection racket you have to buy into, lest you incur a “hit” on your person, business or group concern. Who has the gay mafia taken on and taken down? The military, the Boy Scouts, schools, legislatures, some liberal churches, all kinds of businesses – like Chick-fil-A, and others that don’t offer domestic partner benefits, and so on. You don’t pay, you won’t play; or in their case, you don’t accept, you will regret. Well, the next big target in their gun sights? The conservative churches, such as Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, Jews and so on. Currently, they don’t allow the marriage of same-sex couples, with very few exceptions (typically, rogue priests or pastors), so, therefore, that is non-acceptance; all the gay mafia hears is, “We do...
