MEDINA, OHIO ,  – A long-running, nationally syndicated comic strip will feature a homosexual couple holding hands and attending the prom together. “ Funky Winkerbean ” will depict two men holding hands as they buy tickets at the fictional Westview High School. “So, who are you guys taking to the prom, anyway?” asks a young female ticket seller. “Uh, that would be each other,” they reply. The comic is  featured in 400 newspapers  nationwide. “Dealing with intolerance is something I’ve dealt with many times before. Adding the gay angle is just a twist to the topic,” said strip creator Tom Batiuk (pronounced “Battick”), 63. However, in December 2009, Batiuk featured six comic strips about the  “bullying”  of homosexual character Cody. “I’m not trying to shock anyone,” Batiuk stated. “I’m just telling a story.” The strip, which celebrated its  40th anniversary  last month, joins a growing number of homosexual characters in juvenile literature. SAN ANTONIO, Texas , December 8, 2011  – A woman has been fired from a Macy’s department store for denying a man dressed as a woman access to the women’s fitting room . “I had to either comply with Macy’s or comply with God,” said Natalie Johnson, 27, a former employee at the retail giant’s location in Rivercenter Mall , San Antonio. The customer, along with five companions, argued in response that Macy’s is friendly to the LGBT community . Johnson retorted that Macy’s doesn’t discriminate against religious beliefs, adding that it would go against her religi

According to reports, Coulter charmed her audience of 150 at the HomoCon fundraiser for GOProud with a number of jokes, admitting that it must have been difficult to come out of the closet and tell their parents that they were conservatives. But then the outspoken pundit said to her audience, “I should warn you: I've never failed to talk gays out of gay marriage." Talking Points Memo reported that Coulter explained to the crowd that she supports marriage as the union of a man and a woman, because the institution is fundamentally about the procreation of children. Image via Wikipedia For several years, Home Depot has thrown its support behind activism; now it has indicated that it will continue to do so despite being handed a petition with almost half a million names asking the company to “remain neutral in the culture war .” According to the American Family Association (AFA), Home Depot has chosen to sponsor and participate in numerous gay pride parades and festivals.  AFA charges that by conducting kid’s craft workshops at special booths targeting youngsters, the company has deliberately exposed small children to the lewd displays of sexual conduct by homosexuals and cross-dressers that are a common occurrence at these events. On Thursday, June 3, the AFA delivered 474,161 petition signatures to Home Depot chairman Frank Blake at the company’s annual shareholders meeting in Atlanta. AFA Vice-president Buddy Smith appealed to Chairman Blake to review Home Depot’s extensive support for homosexual activism and direct the company toward n
