Australia: Homosexual advocates against accuse Christians of hate and bigotry

Image
"The Australian public just voted for a new Parliament in which a majority of members support marriage equality," she said. But is this true? No. Again the homosexual lobby keeps presenting false facts. The Prime Minister appeared at the Sydney Gay Pride March along with his wife and believes the vote for immoral homosexual marriage will fly through. Because of these statements, many conservatives have abandoned the Liberal Party in the last election voting for independents and others, simply because of this leaders position on homosexual marriage. Marriage equality advocate Rodney Croome said 70 per cent level of support when a plebiscite was first mooted last August had fallen as people became aware of the cost and the specifics of the Coalition proposal. Yet many Australians support the vote so they can express their opposition to the gay agenda. Children will be the victims of this new immorality. LGBT issues also will not stop with marriage. Churches and places o...

Boy says homosexual sin is fun

'I heard stories of homophobic bullying': Troye Sivan's mother tells of moment he came out as gay, aged 14, as she starts online petition to stop schoolyard abuse.  Troye Sivan came out as gay at aged 14 in a Youtube video that took the world by storm. He sees the sin of homosexuality as fun.  And now his mother Laurelle Mellet has spoken about how she was 'nervous' when he came out as she was concerned about homophobic bullying in schools. It comes as she launched an online petition with change.org to renew Safe Schools funding and establish safe environments for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersexed (LGBTI) students in the school yard. 'It made me nervous - I’d heard horrific stories of homophobic bullying and kids being suicidal at school,' she said of when her son came out.  'What’s worse is our education system won't fight it - Malcolm Turnbull hasn’t renewed Safe Schools funding.'  Homosexuality is defined by scriptur...

Canadian Anglican bishops condemn decision to back gay ‘marriage’

Image
Seven bishops have publicly condemned the Anglican Church of Canada for a “fundamental departure from the faith” in voting to recognize homosexual “marriage” but will not leave the church over it. The bishops of six rural dioceses — Algoma, the Arctic (whose suffragen also participated), Athabasca, Caledonia, Saskatchewan and the Yukon — have issued a joint statement condemning last week’s vote for its mismanagement (the motion passed by one vote only after a recount), for departing from both “the Scriptures and Apostolic Tradition of the Church Catholic,” and for threatening “our full communion within the Anglican Church of Canada and with Anglicans throughout the world,” the majority of whom are staunchly opposed to homosexuality. But the seven dissenters made it clear they weren’t considering leaving the ACC as others did a decade ago to form the Anglican Network in Canada (ANIC). “We unambiguously reaffirm,” they declared, “our commitment to Jesus Christ, the Savior of ...

London touts support for gay movement with gender-bending traffic lights

Image
Some of the 50 LGBT crosswalk signals put up around busy Trafalgar Square to celebrate the Gay Pride Festival in June appear to violate an international treaty and are still up a month later. The 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals calls for simple images of pedestrians only, not the medical symbols for male and female and one established by the transgender movement. For the first time this year, London joined other cities such as Vienna, Seattle, and Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, in using traffic signage that deviate from biblical and biological sexual norms. While Canadian cities such as Victoria, Vancouver and Cornerbrook also have painted over the internationally recognized roadway striping for crosswalks with a rainbow of colors, London opted to modify 50 crosswalk signals in crowded Trafalgar Square. In London, the familiar green walking man was replaced with seven different images ranging from the circle...

Australia: Gay rights backer at ‘unbiased’ institute

Image
A former Greens employee and gay rights campaigner is behind a report to the South Australian government calling for the removal of anti-discrimination exemptions that enable religious schools to hire staff aligned with their beliefs — calling into question the impartiality of advice. South Australian Law Reform Institute senior project officer Sarah Moulds wrote the report recommending an overhaul of the state’s Equal Opportunity Act, which critics fear could significantly curtail religious freedoms. The recommendation, one of 11 in the report released last month, was made despite up to 90 per cent of public submissions urging the exemptions remain. Under South Australian law, religious institutions may discriminate against prospective employees based on sexuality, gender identity and religious beliefs. However, if the recommendation were adopted, sexual orientation and gender identity would be removed as exemptions, meaning a gay teacher who believed they had been ...

Nickelodeon with its first ‘gay married’ couple in kids cartoon

Image
Nickelodeon, the American cable and satellite TV network aimed at kids and teens, has introduced its first animated “immoral homosexual married” couple. Debuting in The Loud House — a cartoon about Lincoln Loud, an 11-year-old boy with 10 sisters — the scene features a friend coming for a stayover with Lincoln. Lincoln and his chum, Clyde McBride, have been counting down the time to the sleepover, so perhaps that’s why Lincoln announces: “Time to make history!” — before he opens the door to reveal Clyde and his two dads. A review in PinkNews praises the episode for depicting the two men as fussy and overprotective, coming with a humidifier, white-noise machine and myriad emergency numbers — thus masterfully deflecting attention from their homosexual relationship. Owned by Viacom Media Network, Nickelodeon targets children ages 2 to 17. It has already introduced a lesbian couple in the 2014 online finale of The Legend of Korra. But Nickelodeon’s allegedly historic immoral moment is ...

The confused erroneous world of transgenderism

Image
TRANSGENDERISM IS A MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE. You can't change your race, or your genetics, hence it is an emotional mental health issue.  It is an LGBT agenda issue that is seeking to become a human right.  Read the confusion below.  ............................................................................................................... According the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF), which published an LGBT glossary of more than 250 terms, the belief that there are only two genders — male and female — should be treated as “genderism.” The guide, which was published as part of the DCF’s Safe Harbors Project and was last updated July 7, defines “genderism” as: “The system of belief that there are only two genders (men and women) and that gender is inherently tied to one’s sex assigned at birth. It holds cisgender people as superior to transgender people, and punishes or excludes those who don’t conform to society’s expectations of gender.” “G...

Gay Agenda's Attacks on Christianity Leave Former Lesbian 'Frustrated'

Image
The body of Christ worldwide is challenged to respond to the issue of homosexuality. While the acceptance of homosexuality has accelerated faster in some nations than in others, the fact remains that Christians in all countries face the challenge of responding with love and truth to all those who struggle in this area. While damage has undoubtedly been done by the watering down of the gospel, immeasurable damage has also been done when truth has been preached in word only without corresponding actions, or has been spoken without love. Remembering that God is both grace and truth will help us to conduct ourselves as Jesus would: compassionately without compromising God word. With that being said, perhaps you heard about the two gay men who filed a lawsuit against Spark Network Inc. Their claim was that Christian Mingle (Christian dating site) violated their civil rights. Unfortunately, this is a never ending story. Some of the gay community has made it their mission to shut down Chr...

Married Lesbian Ordained as Methodist Bishop - 'Led by the Holy Spirit' –fulfils blasphemy of the HS

Image
The Western Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church consecrated a married lesbian bishop in a move that could split the denomination. Greater Northwest Episcopal Area Bishop Grant Hagiya claims the Holy Spirit led the move that the church bylaws expressly forbid - this fulfills the requirement of blasphemy "We understand there may be some political implications, but in our mind this was the best person. It was not a question of (sexual) orientation, it was a question of who was the best spiritual leader. The body spoke and said 'Yes, this is the one.' " Hagiya said . Yet the denomination's Book of Discipline cites "self-avowed practicing homosexuals are not to be certified as candidates, ordained as ministers, or appointed to serve in The United Methodist Church." "The Wesleyan Covenant Association (a group of evangelical and conservative pastors) is meeting in Chicago in the fall to decide the future and if they'll form a brand-new...

Divison Rages As liberal ungodly Denomination Ultimately Sanctions Gay Marriage

Image
Canada's Anglican Church has provisionally voted to amend its rules to allow clergy to celebrate same-sex marriages, a day after it narrowly defeated the measure. The General Synod will hold a second reading on the measure in 2019. If it passes, the Canadian church will join the Episcopal Church, which formally approved marriage ceremonies regardless of gender in 2015. As a consequence, the Anglican Communion placed temporary restrictions on the Episcopal Church. On Monday (July 11), more than 200 delegates attending the Canadian church's General Synod north of Toronto voted to reject same-sex marriage by a single vote after an emotional and divisive debate. Some bishops, including Toronto Archbishop Colin Johnson, declared they would perform same-sex marriages despite the outcome. Thus repudiating scripture and God's clear and direct teaching on the sin of homosexuality. This church is a church in name but is now liberal and abandoned by God according to Romans 1.  ...

Could This New Law Muzzle Bible-Believing Pastors?

Image
Congregations across the state of Iowa are in grave danger of having their pastors silenced in the pulpit over LGBT public accommodation rules, according to a federal lawsuit filed against the Iowa Civil Rights Commission. Fort Des Moines Church of Christ filed what is known as a "pre-enforcement challenge"—arguing that a portion of the Iowa Civil Rights Act is a threat to First Amendment freedoms. Alliance Defending Freedom , a legal firm that specializes in religious liberty lawsuits, is representing the church in its fight against the commission. "Churches should be free to teach their religious beliefs and operate their houses of worship according to their faith without being threatened by the government," ADF Legal Counsel Christiana Holcomb said. "That is a foundational First Amendment principle." The issue involves the commission's interpretation of the 2007 Iowa Civil Rights Act—specifically about public accommodation. The law includes a fac...

Pastor Says State Law Threatens His Right to Teach the Bible in His Church

Image
An Iowa pastor, saying the government needs to stop "meddling in religious affairs," is at odds with the state over a law focused on sexual orientation and gender identity that he says hinders his First Amendment right to teach on matters of sexuality. "The state of Iowa is not the self-appointed pope of all churches," Cary Gordon, pastor of Cornerstone World Outreach, a nondenominational church with around 900 members in Sioux City, Iowa, told The Daily Signal. An Iowa Civil Rights Commission brochure on sexual orientation and gender identity says churches are places of public accommodation and generally are not exempt from the law, according to First Liberty Institute, a legal organization that defends religious freedom and represents Gordon's church. The brochure says the Iowa Civil Rights Act, Iowa Code Chapter 216, "was expanded to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the list of protected classes." The change took effect in July 2007...

Will Pastor Scott Lively Pay for 'Crimes Against Humanity' for Calling Homosexuality a Sin?

Image
Liberty Counsel filed a motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit filed by Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) against Pastor Scott Lively, in which SMUG seeks to silence and impose significant financial penalties against Lively for speech about homosexuality in Uganda. The motion contains 198 pages of facts and legal argument. In the suit, SMUG alleges that Lively committed "crimes against humanity" in violation of "international law"—akin to genocide and war crimes—by simply sharing his biblical views on homosexuality during three visits to Uganda in 2002 and 2009. The suit makes the sensational claim that Lively's visits were part of a "conspiracy" to "persecute" the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) population of Uganda. SMUG alleged Lively orchestrated rampant "discrimination" and even violence against the LGBTI community, leading to the death of SMUG leader David Kato. Four years, 100 hours of depositions, a...

California Drives America Closer to the Great Apostasy

Image
The California Board of Education adopted a framework for a new "LGBT" social studies curriculum that will have national ramifications since textbooks will be written to comply. Starting in second grade, students must be taught about diverse family types in a positive way and must accept that having families with children deprived of a married mother and father is a good thing. In fourth grade they must learn about the redefinition of marriage and therefore must accept that marriage has nothing to do with children and families; it is merely a lifestyle choice for adults. By high school the focus is on the right to create one's own sexual identity and how people have been doing that throughout history. "The greatest concern is that the framework tends to normalize and reinforce things that have led to negative social and human consequences in society such as fatherlessness and children deprived of married mothers and fathers," said William B. May for the ...

Catholic school more concerned about being transgender ‘positive’ than following Church teaching

Image
A school in the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) appears to be more concerned about playing the part of a “positive and respectful community” on "transgender issues" than following Catholic teaching, according to an exchange of emails between a principal and teachers obtained through a Freedom of Information request.  The information reveals that during the 2015 school year, the principal of St. Michael School, Corkery — located near Carp, Ontario — sent an email to OCSB superintendent Stephen McCabe and communications director Mardi de Kemp highlighting a link to an interview mentioning the OCSB given by a mom who has a biological boy who attends an OCSB school dressed like a girl.  “I think we appear to be shown as a positive and respectful community,” writes Principal Martha Palmer in the Sept. 12 email.  The interview referred to was conducted by the Ottawa pop radio station Hot 89.9. The station has used its public platform to mainstream the sexual rev...

Catholic Theological Society awards highest honor to ‘married’ gay prof

Image
The world’s largest professional society of Catholic theologians awarded its highest honor to a University of San Diego professor who is “married” to another man. In addition to being the world’s largest professional theological society, the Catholic Theological Society of America (CTSA) describes itself as “the principal association of Catholic theologians in North America.” It boasts 1,300 members, most of whom hold doctorates in theology or related disciplines. At the CTSA’s annual conference in June, the association presented its John Courtney Murray Award to Dr. Orlando O. Espin, who teaches systematic theology at the University of San Diego, a Catholic college. The John Courtney Murray Award is presented to a theologian for his or her “lifetime of distinguished theological achievement.” “Over decades of scholarship, teaching, and dedication to communal engagement, this theologian has wrestled with problems associated with the historical and contemporary legacies of colo...
