But why would that one couple change her mind over the sin of homosexuality ? The German chancellor had previously argued that same-sex couples should not be allowed to marry, stating: “For me, personally, marriage is a man and a woman living together.” So what changed?  In 2013, Merkel also expressed worries about gay couples being allowed to adopt, saying she was concerned about the “ children ’s welfare”, the BBC reported . Christopher Doyle , a l icensed clinical professional counselor and co-coordinator of the National Task Force for Therapy Equality said the Rhode Island bill is only the latest example of a liberal state using “bad science” to curtail people’s right to seek treatment.   That includes the “born gay” myth, he said. The Rhode Island House voted Tuesday to unanimously approve a bill banning pro-heterosexual change therapy for minors, which LGBT activists derisively label “conversion therapy.” The bill’s sponsor, Democrat Rep. Joseph McNamara, used some of the most overheated rhetoric heard to date in the national debate on this topic, saying the bill “protects minors from this barbaric, dangerous, and discredited practice,” the  Providence Journal  reported . McNamara, chairman of the Health, Education and Welfare Committee, cited those who testified in favor of the ban, saying, “They spoke of depression, attempted suicide, substance abuse, and numerous negative outcomes from this so-called therapy,” according to the newspaper. Blessed Sacrament Church in the Archdiocese of New York has announced that its “Gay Fellowship” group will be partnering with Lady Gaga ’s “ Born This Way Foundation ” to hold a fundraising dance in the parish hall. John Gasdaska with 'husband' Wright Moore According to promotional  materials  displayed on the parish website, the event, which is styled a “dance party,” is called “Moving With the Spirit,” and will feature “cocktails, cabaret, silent auction, and dancing.” It is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, June 17. The parish’s “Gay Fellowship” is headed by John Gasdaska, a man who “married” his homosexual partner in 2016 in an Episcopal church . Blessed Sacrament’s administration organized a celebration of Gasdaska’s “marriage” soon after the “wedding,” openly  publicizing  the event in the parish bulletin. The money raised by the dance will be used to fund the activities of two homosexualist organizations: the Born this Way Foundation and the Ali Forney Center

The southern Dutch town of ’s-Hertogenbosch ( Den Bosch for short) has been chosen to host the Netherlands’ “ Pink Saturday ” on June 24. The capital of the historically Catholic province of North-Brabant will welcome LGBT persons from all over the country and beyond with a first-ever event: an ecumenical prayer service for participants to be held in the Catholic cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in the presence of Bishop Gerard de Korte . The Roman Catholic bishop recently confirmed that he will give a blessing at the end of the ceremony. Gay rights groups are overjoyed.
