Liberal Australian Greens want to wipe out religious programs, replace them with LGBT agenda

Image
The Australian Greens party has hardened its stance on the LGBT agenda in view of the 2019 federal elections to the Senate on May 18 and the House of Representatives on November 2. The long list of “LGBTIQ+” policies the Greens want to implement includes a commitment to end an existing program funding the presence of religious chaplains in public schools and to use the money in favor of “secular” and “inclusive” support for “diverse” students. Other anti-religious initiatives are included on the list, in particular, “the removal of religious exemptions from anti-discrimination laws.” Religious and private schools are especially targeted. The Australian Greens are a nominally environmentalist organization that started with “ecological” concerns. From its creation in 1992, the left-leaning party not only campaigned for “sustainability” but also for “social justice,” participative democracy and pacifism, in the vein of the Green movement that had objectively supported the Soviet ...

Former ‘trans’ teens raise awareness of dangers of gender ideology

Image
Indulging gender confusion at an early age tends to exacerbate emotional problems rather than alleviate them, and now a group of young women is working to raise awareness of their experiences as teenagers who thought they were men. The Pique Resilience Project (PRP) is a group of four “detransitioned and desisted women” between the ages of 20 and 22, “with the goal of sharing our stories and providing information on detransition, as well as support for those who may be questioning their gender or identity,” according to the group’s website. Dagny “identified as non-binary and as a trans man” from ages 15-19 and “was on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for two years before deciding to detransition,” Chiara “identified as a trans man from ages 16-19 before desisting,” Jesse “identified as a trans man from ages 16-19” and “briefly as non-binary both at age 15 and 19,” and Helena “identified as non-binary and transgender throughout her teenage years, transitioning from the age of 18...

Another Catholic School Is Under Fire For Actually Being Catholic

Image
Over the past few years, Catholic schools have been the targets of people and organizations who seek to use the schools as a way of attacking the Church’s teachings, particularly those on human sexuality. Typically, what happens is that the school, either in ignorance or out of guilt felt by school administrators over Church teachings, hires a homosexual teacher or administrator or staff member. After some period of time, that person “comes out” with a “domestic partner.”  Then the school is forced to either accept the scandal of the Church employing someone living, in legal parlance, “openly and notoriously,” in violation of Church teachings or fire them and become the latest “intolerant Catholic school” story. Now we have another of those stories emerging. (h/t to our new colleagues at pjmedia.) A homosexual couple tried to enroll their child in St. Ann Catholic School in Prairie Village, a suburb of Kansas City, KS. This presented the school with a major problem. Either ac...

Michigan’s lesbian AG investigating Catholic media org as part of ‘hate group’ crackdown

Image
Michigan’s lesbian attorney general and the state’s Department of Civil Rights director are investigating organizations the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has deemed “hate groups.” One such group in their state is Catholic news service Church Militant, which reports on clerical sexual misdeeds and advocates adherence to the teachings of the Catholic Church. The SPLC has labeled Church Militant “anti-LGBT.” The law center lumps pro-life , pro-marriage, and Christian organizations in with neo-Nazis and the KKK as “hate groups.” Its “ hate map ” inspired a man to attempt a shooting rampage at the Family Research Council’s headquarters in 2012, the first incident of armed domestic terrorism in Washington, D.C. Attorney General Dana Nessel and Department of Civil Rights Director Agustin V. Arbulu say they are responding to the SPLC’s annual “hate map” report . They claim that the SPLC has documented an increase of “active extremist and hate organizations in Michigan.” Accor...

Lesbian prof: Church teaching makes Catholic schools ‘hotbeds of homophobia' or truth?

Image
A lesbian and former Catholic school teacher have written a book claiming Alberta and Ontario’s publicly funded Catholic schools are “potential hotbeds for homophobia,” for which she appears to argue Catholic teaching is to blame. Tonya Callaghan quit teaching in a Catholic school, where she allegedly suffered “homophobia” daily after a homosexual student committed suicide. In an article for The Conversation, Callaghan attributed that to homophobic bullying the standard LGBT response.  She then devoted herself to the research of “homophobia and transphobia” in Catholic schools, and “also to begin to question and understand how these phobias are institutionalized.” Callaghan — now a University of Calgary assistant professor of education — discovered the problem is Catholic teaching on homosexuality. The Bible says homosexuality is a sin. But the LGBT people call it the Bible full of hate and even is full of hate, homophobia - make your opponent ugly don't talk don't dis...

LGBT posters permitted but not Bible Verses

Image
An Ohio teenager received an “in-school suspension” for having posted Bible verses around her school early this month. Gabby Helsinger of Lebanon High School was inspired by the LGBT Pride flag posters posted up around her school to write out some Bible verses to do some messaging of her own. She stuck them on lockers and walls, only to find teachers taking them down. In a video published by her mother Tina on Facebook, Gabby explained what happened next. “The next day, I got called to the office and there is a letter that says that I have an ISS, which is an in-school suspension, and the reason why I have it is because ‘abuse of others, disrespect, rudeness’ because I put Bible verses up ‘targeting the GSA organization.’” Gabby told viewers that she didn’t know what the “GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) was or meant.” She had noticed, however, people in her school who she thought were in need of help that such an organization could not provide. “They don’t need to be l...
